It controls my aquarium lights and I can take advantage of all the settings and light color combinations that are possible. I do find it odd that my lights are always offline according tho this app and I have to retry several times before the lights show online.
As everyone said - their app is completely broken for the new android version, so it instantly crashes all the time. Do yourself a favor and avoid this fixture. We now all have pretty much a fancy garage lamp with an on/off switch.
The light itself is good in manual mode but the app is the worse I've ever seen, the app can't find my light or wifi no matter what I do I've used 3 phones and 4 tablets with no luck. Hopefully the creators of this app will fix this issue soon or this light is going straight in the garbage!
This app could definitely be easier to use and better instructions are needed. But it does work. For those having wifi issues, the light only works on 2.4Ghz wifi. So you need to connect your phone or tablet to your 2.4Ghz wifi first, then scan for the device. After your app connects, you can switch your phone back to your 5Ghz wifi and it will work properly.
horibble half assed app.. you can tell this was and is just thrown together no real thought put into it. very basic and unreliable timers. on top of all that my phone just updated and now the app no longer works at all.. i tried reinstalling the app and it still doesn't work... no quality found here.
Only giving it a 2 star because I can only use the app on an old cellphone that the kids use for watching videos. On my new phone which runs Android 10 the app shuts down instantly. Anyone who buys the lights buys them with every intention of using the Wifi capabilities...developers need to step up and provide update. Or version 2.
Works great but the fans of the light stay on after the the lights turn off... Is there a way for them to turn off when using low power or when the lights go completely off...
Lights work well once setup, however, wifi setup is confusing. I had to disable 5ghz on my router to connect the lights. This system only accepts 2.4 ghz.
Update: the app is now working. I've sent tons of emails and problem reports. I didnt recieve one email back. Terrible customer service. App is alright when it works. I wouldn't buy this light or any product from this company again
Had the hardest time getting it to just connect up to the light but if it wasn't for how long it took to get it to connect and if better set up for controls then it would be a lot better but the light itself isn't bad
Will not open on Samsung Galaxy s10e....... OK, I finely got the (aquarium light app) to open on my Galaxy s10e. Got it done by sending the (aquarium light app) from my computer to my phone. Beets me?, I don't know how or why but the app open and stayed without crashing. So I will bump it up to three stars.
Keeps crashing go to open it and instantly closes my light is now pretty much useless on the wifi side which is the only reason I bought it over the other lights...
Can someone with a working app please convert it back to an apk and post a link to that apk on here? It appears they broke the app in December 2019, and this has left many of us struggling to make it work again.
The app is trash and it's broken. It won't open. Save yourself the trouble and return the light... And I don't think this light is for aquariums at all
This app is garbage. I cant get it to recognize my light or my wifi and I've tried everything to reset my router and reset the light.
good app.works well.just wish you could turn your whites down below 10.late in the afternoon it would be nice to have the whites on like 4-5%.10 is just a lil too bright.and how come i cant find the app on my computer?
Can't get any support and the settings wont last more then an hour. Reset them and now they dont repond at all....
Wont connect to wifi or light. It's useless.

junk malfunctioning app. seriously had to have been some kids school project.
The lights will not follow the program in the app and the customer support will not provide any support service

Works, just a bit weird. Follow the YouTube video that shows how to set this up. Just search lightimetunnel app on google and you'll find the video. Wait 30 seconds or more for it to find the light and then itll work. Not a great interface but this was a super cheap light and it works.
