App is far from ready for transition to production. Adding filters is not intiuitive, and the tracking does not provide interesting stats just the filter percentage remaining, and no insight as to how that number was calculated (days? gallons?). Instead of hiring an outside firm to put together an app and letting them run with it, you should be thinking through the customer centric aspects and creating detailed requirements. Here's hoping the next version isn't also a total dumpster fire.
Just installed the Aquasana AQ-5300+ bluetooth water filtration system. The filter part works great, but this app seems to be nearly completely broken. Launched and created an account, then it instructed me to select a filter system type to connect to and none of the options can be selected. Tap your filter - nothing happens. Rebooted, reinstalled, cleared cache, data, nothing. I'm guessing that given the other 1 start reviews here that others weren't able to get it to work either.
The app literally doesn't do anything. I installed it and logged into my Aquasa account inside the app. Then nothing. It shows two pictures of compatible Aquasana products, but there aren't any buttons to push. Literally just two static pictures of products. I cannot emphasize enough that this app literally doesn't do anything.
Waste of 5 minutes. Hope the filter system works better than this useless app. Won't even connect! Connects to my iPad,, Still useless. Deleting them both...... This is a marketing scam to spam you with scheduled delivery of replacement cartridges. It's only a count down clock. Does NOT measure gallons processed. Need to fill out a form to get in. Needs location always, not just when using. I entered "No" in all the address fields and a bogus email.
It recognizes my email but not my password and doesn't allow to change user password so I can't login! It needs some serious updates. My guess is the developer doesn't want to fix it because the water filters are overpriced and the life of the filters are not what they claim to be!
Frustrating! You can make an account but then the app will not let you select which filter you have, and there is no way to actually bluetooth connect. Waste of time, either fix the app for real or just put a digital counter on the water filtration system itself!
Worked great up until last update. Now the app is called 'no name', crashes with an error when you open it, and displays Chinese characters. Please fix ASAP! I found it very helpful to track the life of my filter.
I connected my filter but the app does nothing. I'm not convinced it's communicating. the latest update broke the app completely. uninstalled. i do hope the app is improved. i love my filter and would like to be able to monitor its status.
Terrible App. Not only that it is useless. You can not even select your filter type, forget Bluetooth connection. iPhone version was not working, since I have Android, and wanted to give it a try but no. Still useless.
owned our filter now for a few years waiting for Android app to be developed. thought I'd check tonight to see after installing new filters. low an behold they did create an app. tried to install, it downloaded but never installed completely. gave up. I agree with others, filters are great but app support is lacking.
Can never add the filter as a bluetooth device. Each time after the filter has been in use for a while, a bluetooth device icon will show up but you can never add it on your phone.
Quite simply useless. Does not connect to my filter. A very poor attempt at an app. edit Recent update app just crashes with what appear to be Chinese characters on the screen.
App will not connect on Samsung S10. I tried multiple times, also on an S9 with same results. There is no way to manually connect either. Useless app for an otherwise great water filter.
the water filter is okay, it filters well although not the most robust product in terms of construction. the app on the other hand is useless it won't connect to thw filter it does nothing at all
Useless app. They try to make it stupid proof by auto connecting but it never actually connects. And there's no option to manually connect. Garbage app. Very disappointed in this company.
I wasn't able to link to my filtration system. I saw a request to get access to something, but it suddenly went away, I wasn't able to accept nor decline. I assume that my lack to connect is due to the lack of this access.
Not working. Can only select between USA and Canada. Don't know if this is the reason it's not working /connecting with the filter. A respond would be appreciated.
The app does not update the percentage of use . It's been 5 months and my filter still says 72%. This is clearly not the case. I submitted a request for help and received no reply from customer support.
This app needs to be overhauled and completely remade doesn't sync to filter and won't let me select product to moniter
It says network connection issue. Why the heck it needs network if it's supposed to only check filter over bluetooth?!
I bought Aqusan AQ 5300+ blue tooth connection never worked with the spp Aqusana BLE. Multiple calls to tech support led nowhere. all they tell me is that, we are working on it, no ETA.
the app is not working. does not recognize the filter I have just installed (it took me three hours). Will see.
Worthless, worked at first. But after the filter was done ,I replaced it with a new one. Will not show life of the new filter
App does not to work. Can't add my filter and why does it need location data? This is a big let down.

Simply doesnt work. This app needs to be removed. Aquasana support says there is no android app for their systems.
Why do I need to login? It tracks the status via Bluetooth. I don't need an account for that.
I was going to give this app zero star. The app is supposed to auto connect when the filter is being used. But I tried and tried and wasted a lot of water but nothing ever showed up on the screen. I was ready to rate the app 1 star and delete it. I turned on the filter again just to be sure and then the notification appeared on the screen to monitor the filter. I hit monitor on the screen and voila! The app connected and is showing 100% filter life remaining.
