need help it's not connecting to my drone
So far I'm very disappointed this app seems to do a good job at controlling my drone however it keeps freezing on me after a minute or so. Makes it completely unusable because drone is uncontrollable when it freezes, caused me to nearly lose it on one flight. Tried several times to get it to work and continues having issues
I have only flown about 3 times thus far, and our of the three two were with the default parrot app. I took the risk to try another right off the bat, as it just felt so wobbly to me. This app I noticed immediately more stability better controls and it just felt more like I had control over the drone. 5 stars impressed here
I think this a great software program and seems to work well with the AR Drone 2.0. Had to add that support from shellware is great!.Note: it also works very well with the Nvidia Shield with AR Drone 2.0. Now the only software I use on the shield. (Shield is a Great controller) For get the smart phones! UPDATE: I don't think this is supported anymore, Having some issues with 4.4.2, No more updates I think. Sad this was a great peace of software.
This compass is a great asset the update clear all flickering when moving around. Working with N shield only one thing needed having the ability to on/off individual screen functions. AR Pro we'll be in a class by its self.
Have an Ar 2.0. Video feed would not work in Freeflight. Thought the camera or main board were pooched. Was considering the drone bricked. Searched extensively and could find no answers except speculation that parts were defective but no answers which part best buy a bunch they say......ya right. Big help. Installed this app and video is back the drone is alive and I'm a happy camper. Had even tried the original V1 of AR Drone Pro but video feed was still jammed. Love to know why this app fixed my brick but happy it did. 5 stars for the repair. Salute.
App was OK for diagnosing issues, but crashes every time I try and use it to take off/fly. Leaving my drone flying with zero control (a fly away). I had to tie it down to test if it was something I did or the app.
Absolutely worth the cost just for the configuration features alone. And so much more functionality than Parrots own software. For the price of the ar.drone parrot should have had something this good. Thanks to the author of this little beauty we can do so much with it now.
My wife always said read the manual if I was having trouble with a product and once again she's right. Though the app was junk at first until I looked over the instructions. Never flew before and after taking an hour or two to look over the "how to" I'm flying! I can't give it 5 stars because that would have ment it was to easy. I think I've got a great past time hobby now - and what a stress reliever.
App freezes on Samsung tab. Buttons don't work. Also map is hard work to display
Looking forward to test this app with my AR Drone 2.0 ! So far the settings offer a great variety and I love the spin up motor tests (individual). Thanks for making our droners life easier and happier ! Would love to be able to change the analog mappings for axis so I can use it with different controllers. Is it possible to change the deadzones for gamepad joystick axes ? Bernek
I use all the apps for my ar2 but this is my go to when I am not using my laptop and drone in autonomous mode. Great job guys.
Smooth, Precise, Worthy, and make sure the Hover lock is on. It is amazing to have such thing and works perfectly fine with my nexus 5
App itself is great but when I try to fly my AR Drone 2.0 the app freezes and crashes my phone, the from will stay in flight locked into what ever it was doing at the time. Not very good at all. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Way better then the parrot can app. Trying to get stable flying out of free flight is almost impossible after 2 fly aways I tried ar pro went through a 1 battery charge no fly aways.a must have.
The app starts ok, but the control doesn't seem to work. Shame, all the reviews said it was much better than the official app.
Well so far, better than free flight, more stable and no loss of connection. Highly recommend trying if you have a drone.
Have tried to contact author several time regarding a few features (stats and graphing) I would like to see. No reply whatsoever.
Great app for ar drone. controller mapping is great. Probably the best app for flying your drone. Object detection works real well.
App almost crashed my drone twice. App stop's responding and loose​ control of the drone completely.
Once you figure out how to use the software, it's very fun and addictive. Battery on the drone itself doesn't last long at all. Overall fun
It connects and then there is a screen that doesnt go away so i can use the controls. Didnt even get enough time to get a refund neither
