FAQ1. Why this app is asking for password. It's a free app after all.Ans: The app is not asking you for password but the file you are decompressing. Some files are password protected to protect it's content from unauthorized access. You need to know the password in order to decompress the file. Extracting password protected archives are just another feature by Arc File Manager. Non password protected files will work fine.

I'm actually very impressed with this app and I test a lot of file managers but this ark file manager is very unique.I suggest everybody try this app out it hasn't it a different ability to show your files and all your folders and the associated apps with it not quite like all the other apps it's very good app it's reliable and it can open up different file types are at least show you the source of the file where you need to get your information great job thanks uark manager
Although it can be somewhat of a task to get through a larger list of files, the app offers just as much file usage as a laptop, and the menu is easy to get used to, albeit a little daunting to begin with.
Bz2 file compression doesnt work When you comperss it to bz2 it forgets the original file extension leaving u with a file that cant be opened renaming it to its original file extension fixes this problem but its very irritating please fix other than that i think theres a little too many ads and the ui is pretty bad
So far loving it. I had been using Root Browser for years, which is another file manager, but I stumbled upon this one which I find far better. The other one is buggy and lags most of the time which is a major drawback for me. So far loving this one keep up the good work. Thanks.
I don't mind ads, but I didn't like that they kept popping up randomly when the app wasn't in use. For that reason, I had to uninstall the app. The ads would pop up when I was doing other things.
Instantly extracted files that most other apps wouldn't...along with the arc file storage manager very competent and reliable ....works with most file types
Easy to use. Fresh and clean look. Supports unzipping of different compressed files.
I find it a bit confusing because there dont seem to be a section for setting so you can setup account or change password
High quality app. Can rename files, even able to turn .png and .jpg into .scskin for Survivalcraft.
although it has old-looking icons, it is a great file manager.

This is the best Android file manager on the Play Store. I have used this for 3 years now and it is my go-to file manager on my crappy RCA tablet. As a small suggestion, maybe try adding the ability to extract multiple files at once. Other than that, amazing file manager.
