Arcane Quest Legends - Offline RPG

Really good game that semi scratches the Diablo itch. I have put over 60 hours of gameplay so far. The only minor annoying things are as follows; your NPC partner will always get in the way preventing you from hitting any enemies infront of him and preventing you from moving away from mobs at times; the map is useful but can't be opened more than what you see on the top right corner, you'll be going in circles in certain maps and getting frustrated. Aside from that it's definitely entertaining.

The game has some interesting mechanics. Kind of typical for this type of game but the ability to customize your gear is really nice. At times it gets to the point of being a bit frustrating but that seems kind of typical these days in regards to difficulty. (Old arcade games come to mind.) The AI for helpers could also use some tweaking to give them their own play style. I would also like to see more ways in game to acquire stones since there are a fair amount of ads already.

Thoroughly enjoy the game and its mechanics and levelling, only thing I would potentially change is the targeting. When you get a group of mobs, and you turn to shoot, you shoot in opposite direction sometimes, maybe if you are engaged in combat you would auto-target and face them, but all in all a good game.

This is such a fantastic game and very entertaining with an easy to follow storyline and is extremely interesting as the story unfolds. The controls are user-friendly and character building is very fair in terms of what's required. The only downfall is identifying items that require a specific amount of stones to identify certain items and how little you get when im not spending actual currency. I had to spend a few dollars just to get a small amount items identified but still leaves a lot

Fun game. I died a lot at first, but I guess you have to level up some how. I like this type of hack-n-slash. I was impressed with the graphics as a mobile app. I enjoy building my character and changing up skills and equipment. After the end of the first chapter, the developers let you pick to pay for each additional chapter or the set. I bought them all at once as I new I would finish this game. I would buy more chapters if it ment I could keep using my character.

A really great start! I hope there will be some sort of New Game+ and I don't know what the max level is, but I'm really enjoying it so far. I wish there was an optional auto-aim for times that I'm close to an enemy but can't lock in (using a ranged character-specifically the mage). I also wish I didn't exit the store everytime I hit the arrow to return to the previous screen. I usually have multiple things to do at the store (buy/sell/enchant/extract, etc) so I have to reapproach the merchant.

Pretty awesome, decent advertising, very cheap for what you get (like 2.50 for the 2nd and 3rd act together). The controls are a bit tricky and I hope there will be a bit more development in that direction. Camera movement should be bound to the walking direction and banners (level up or close to level gate) should absolutely not cover half of the screen. But I like the game and bought it already.

Just started and it is a pretty enjoyable game. It has a good premise and not hard to use. Instead on the item limit it would be good to have a grid box instead to use. and being able to go back to town anywhere with the scroll instead of only by the pillar. Camera movement needs to be smoothed out instead of jumping to a different spot. Also with the camera it would be nice to move it not just on the top of the screen.

It's very rare to find a good rpg game in consoles nowadays in my opinion. Let alone mobile games. It has good story and graphics. I would have easily given this a 5* if not for the tricky conversation. It automatically skip if you're not paying attention to the pause button. Missing you some details. And also, there is no settings for auto-target the the nearest enemy and the camera angles gets in the way! Also, sometimes you or the enemy get stuck beyond the invisible walls! Pls fix this!

it's fun and different for a mobile game but completely familiar for anyone who grew up in the 90s a nerd. it's actually refreshing and fun, but doesn't get 5 stars because the controls are clunky, especially if you have small hands, and a little more character customization would go a long way. the level design gets repetitive. but whatever, I still like it. I'm going to give them 3 bucks and hope there are other nostalgic people doing the same and they do some easy stuff to make it better.

This game has everything I'm looking for in an offline RPG. I have been looking for an offline RPG worth my time for a long time, and I found one! It has dif level equipment, levelling up the character how you want, with what skills you want. The graphics and feel are great for what it is. and my favorite part is that it's hard. It's got that old school feel where you can't just save anywhere, so use your 4 health potions wisely, and master the slightly wonky controls... love it!

Graphics are good and the gsmeplay, however, is really difficult. The controls, apparently, needs some fixing(howabout add a button customization option, also, the the roll button and spells are a little too small for my phone).Also, how about an actual character customization! Its kind of lame getting with the same guy with different names. In that case, add beards, various hairstyles, hair,eye,and skin color, and more! Overall, it's a really good game! Ill be expecting more from you!

Good game. It took me some time getting used to the controls and the terrible targeting system. Please add a fixed option for the movement wheel, and the option to reposition buttons too I guess. Also, can you add a backroll animation (or not)? It looks so funny to see my character roll forward while moving backwards. Edit: I saw reviews about balance. Yes, it's unbalanced. Dodge button is definitely useless yep. Idk why I thought this is a good game.

It's an ok game. The necessity of manually changing the camera angle is extremely annoying. Why can't I face my enemies automatically? Needing arcane stones to identify items is also annoying. The extremely limited inventory space is also a major nuisance. The fact that the game doesn't automatically save each time you enter a new area is also a point of contention. I'd also like to be able to customize the looks of my characters.

This is the absolute best Arpg on the market, IMHO. It does everything i want it to. It has all the appeal of the old diablo 2 game but with better graphics. And it doesn't hold your hand or automize. I do have issues with the controls, I have to make sure I am pressing the action buttons just right. I went ahead and bought the story pack just so i can increase my play time. Can't beat 3$. Fantastic work! If i could suggest something is the ability to cosmetically customise our character.

The idea behind the game is great. The storyline is cool. The biggest downfall is that the enemies are too difficult to actually enjoy the game. Most are 2 hits and you die. Not cool. Especially when leveling up takes so long. Could be great, just lighten up on the enemy difficulty and I'll take it to 5 stars.

Now I see what the other reviewers were saying. I was happy to buy the new chapters until I discovered the mechanics are broken! People complained it's too difficult, but it isn't if you take a ranged unit. The main problem is that you select a quest for rewards, but after completing the quest, the rewards are denied! You can only claim rewards by watching an advert on a pop-up screen, but the problem is the game usually has no adverts to load, so you get NOTHING at the end of each mission!

This game is awesome! I would like to see more choice in characters. possibly a upclose view of toon. I love the graphics and quests. How do you open mini map? At least I can see where I am or going. I keep getting kicked off game in middle of quest and have to start over. Maybe next I will rate 5 stars. I bought all acts. Are they good for all my toons on my account? This is one of the bestgames especially since it is offline. You can play wherever you want with or without internet.

The game needs a lot of work. The npc' s bunch up around your Char, that causes you to not be able to move. It also makes it hard to see the enemy. The camera does not rotate on its own in battle or another time. The controls are so close that you hit them when you try an rotate the view wasting your manna. Yoour manna takes a long time to regenerate. Your forward field of view it very limited. The game is playable, but needs work. The graphics are not bad. But needs work.

Honestly this game has many potentials, but there are lot of things to be desired. Others was right about the camera interactions. Why didn't you just fully adopt the 1st or 3rd person shooter which the camera follows the hero character forward view. It is so annoying that you have to manually rotate to give a better view of the battlefield, specially in chase or evasion sequence. Enemy's are hard to beat at early stage so frustrating that people will tend to give up playing. Many more......

first off, your controls really stink. you cannot use a bow or distance spells effectively. you have to hit your direction a few times before you get it to do as you intend. second, this is a pay-as-you-go game, you only get the 1st act for free. 3rd, while the story line is ok, the direction in which it leads you doesnt make sense. if you arent constantly buying new gear youre bound to fail that particular mission. too many things to list but those are the top 3. Moving onto a better made game.

All around fun and entertaining. But if I'm going to pay for the next chapter I'd expect to return to previous chapters. I mean otherwise the game becomes short and redundant. Allow us to combine armor and stones and add better view points with character item rotation. I believe that would take the game to another level. Outside of more side objectives

So far so good, the controls that control the camera could use a speed adjustment option. Yeah the right side of the screen seems a little packed and I keep hitting spells unintentionally when moving camera when in a hurry, like a heavy battle, but considering the fact that the game is on a phone I can't really complain about that much. Over all great game.

I want to love this game but just cannot. The enemy always leveling with you is soooo annoying. I know, I know, so many games do that already but you never feel like your truly powerful at any point....ever. I spent the 4.99 for the whole game and now I wish I didn't. What good is all the awesome gear when it never makes much of a difference?? Also, the controls are very clunky, and the story is just meh. I wrote this review after i completed the game in hopes my opinion would change. It did not.

I'm having a grand time playing this and being and a free offline game? cant beat that. it's simple, easy to understand, and there's some exploration to it and not just following a set path. what I mean by that is when going to an area, you're given a huge space and the mission can be completed without even exploring a good bit of it. Give it a shot if you're looking for something in google play, you cant hate it.
