Doesn't report rounds to server properly. Support doesn't help much. Great for distances though. In general not good enough to consider continuing subscription. Lucky it was free and I only paid extra for the LINK. Unfortunately recent new releases to hardware don't help the issues software side.
Pretty good app, but it has a steep learning curve. Data seems very useful, but more robust display styles would help the customers. Been using the app for a week. Still evaluating.
Awesome app when it works. The last 3 rounds have tracked fine but the stats won't load. Gives an error message so the rounds aren't contributing to the handicap and club distances/stats aren't updating.
Too many problems to list. Sensors are inconsistent (some days they work some days they don't). GPS is subpar at best compared to other golf gps apps. UI is not intuitive at all. Simply put, Arccos Caddie is not worth the cost of entry both the hardware & subscription based software.
Great when it works but this round upload error is ridiculous. It costs $200 CAD to use the app and I can only golf ~6 months a year due to the weather. It's unacceptable that I can't upload rounds and get stats for this long.
This app really isn't made for android. I have an S22 ultra and still have issues pairing. Actually, issues is the wrong term as I have been unable to pair at all with this phone. These sensors were purchased last September. Yearly subscription on top of yearly equipment purchases? Seems a bit much.
App misses quite a few shots during a round. I purchased a link to attempt to fix it, this worked for a while but now the link no longer connects with the app, even when in pairing mode & my phone's Bluetooth can see it.
Update...it wasn't working. Gave all the symptoms to Arccos. After some emailing and a new piece, works great. Wish my golf game worked as well as the Arccos does! Might not catch all the shots (putts). But catches most. Would recommend.
App didn't work that great for me, I didnt like needing my phone in my pocket or close by only other solution is a 120 dollar belt sensor, came with my clubs for free for a year, got charged anyway. No help from customer service. This is an expensive replacement for pen and paper.
Had no problems at all with the app for the last 2 years. I got a link this year an now I can't see my after round shot breakdown
Screen doesn't stay on with app use when outside, renders the app almost useless (and the app is necessary because the 1st Gen Caddie Link is horribly inconsistent)
App was forcing to sign up for a year and get the sensors for all clubs or you can't use it. I only wanted to test it with the new Driver I got. They should have said it upfront! Don't sign up if you are not going to used it for all the clubs in your bag. I want my account deleted and will be drilling out the sensor from my new PING driver!
Arccos is next level technology that can help golfers of all abilities. It has helped my game exponentially, I love it!
The tech was distracting at first, once I learned where to find pertinent information while on the go I became comfortable with my caddie (this took about 7 rounds) I find the information invaluable as I reflect on games past. The % my clubs in the middle fairway vs R or L, my success % from the tea box with my drives and the feedback about my approach is really having an effect on how I approach my game. This can be a useful tool for you. But is up to y'all ta keep'em forward and findable. ⛳
I like the sensors but the other day the clip that attachs to my belt broke. I wish they would offer spare ones instead of having to buy a brand new link.
First time use, didn't detect shots after the first hole. Update #1: I was impressed that I got personal advice from Arccos, will post again after my next game of golf.
I have to pay a fee of 10 dollars a month to get the sensors in my clubs that I already bought to give me my swing data. I it comes with the club it should be free.
I've been using the Arccos sensors for a year now without a watch or the Link. The information has been accurate and useful. However, I wanted to take it all a step further, so with all my Christmas money, I got the Link and a Galaxy Watch 4. The app will not load at all on the watch and I just get a black screen. If this was my first experience, this would be a 1 star review, but I've enjoyed this app so far, and this wearable experience has been a huge let down. I hope it gets fixed soon.
I love the functionality and ease of use. Use it primarily as Course GPS but the statistics obtained over time are very powerful. Had my sensors free with my Cobra Clubs and use my phone exclusively so only pay the monthly fee. Very pleased and would recommend strongly.
Just got a new Cobra club with the sensors pre installed. Got home to download the app just to find I need to pay for the service. I can't even get pass the openings video to see what the app offers. Kinda what to return my club as well. Feel ripped off.
Absolutely fed up with this app every club paired sensor on start on 1st tee and not one shot detected for the entire round. I have android phone and it's a total waste of time and subscription going in the drawer and staying there.
Paid for subscription and cancelled a month or so later so it wouldn't auto-renew. Took away all access to the app instead. They also kept my $120. I expected to still have access for the year I paid for.
Works decent most of the time,if it's cloudy Arccos seems to struggle capturing shots. I also use the clip on sensor so there is no reason for it to miss shots aside from cloudy interference is all I can think of,sunny days it works flawless. The only other thing is no matter how I set the phone up the screen times out after 5 minutes which is sometimes frustrating but really just more an inconvenience
