This app and capability is awesome when it works. Connections drop A LOT. I like to leave the tub at a lower temperature and when i want to use it turn it up. If i can connect it's great, but once i turn it on, it drops the connection so i can't use other features. I haven't been able to connect to the hot tub in weeks even though the ethernet connection is there. I think if there was a "keep alive or heart beat" to keep the connection up that would help.

It works, then it doesn't. The UX is poorly designed. They took the old-school panel UI and turned it into an app without leveraging the newer technology. I should be able to select the color of the lights instead of having to push the button repeatedly until I get the desired setting. What does the EZ button do? It turns everything on. Why does it not just say its function? Also, you have to click twice to engage (the same # of clicks to do it with the other buttons). Poor customer support.

Went from a good, professional looking user interface to cheap and ugly looking. The spaboy page looks like it was copied from a kids game. This app is not showing the status of the tub (heating, filtering, etc.) At times I hear the tub running for no apparent reason, but if I go out and check the panel on the tub, it says it's heating. The app is not showing that. On the positive side, the app is no longer crashing.

App is very glitchy. Doesn't connect all the time. Open and close many times before it might work. Most of the time it states Disconnected and won't even work. We hard wired the tub but still has issues connecting. Sometimes the app comes on and says 0 degrees and sometimes it has all the buttons in the left top corner stacked on top of each other. Sometimes the app states the heater is cooling when we are trying to heat it up. And EZ button does not work at all. Developer please FIX.

The app never works... I don't know what happened recently but my app might work 1 out of 10 times. Edit... It's getting worse. The only way to make it work now, seems to be turning off the breaker and turning it back on. Then it will work for a short period of time, after which it goes back to showing the tub offline. Truly a useless app at the moment... I would give zero stars if I could

This new version started out ok, but then became more hit and miss, since the last update it just displays 'connecting' endlessly and goes nowhere! Update, I can now log on but have to do it manually as it won't connect automatically. Strangely enough when it does connect it tells me that it is now 'disconnected', very odd. The other weird anomaly (which has now cleared) was that it would keep increasing the temperature without my input, so I would then have to lower it myself, again, very odd.

Just bought the spa brand new and am really disappointed with the app. Although we can control temperature and see the condition of the filters, there is nowhere that we can find to show the pH levels and the EZ button does nothing. On the hot tub itself the filter button does not work but not sure if this has anything to do with the app. Having spent £12,000 I am not impressed

Went from a poor app to a much worse app. Crashes all the time. Can't even get into the settings page, alwayscrashes when I select settings I agree with others it looks crappy too. The spa itself is a 5 out 5 for advanced design and engineering the app is a 0 out of 5. Come on guys wake up! Has anyone been able to register their spa online? I have not been able to after 6 months of trying.

Biggest issue. Connection issues. Most the time I can't connect Next issue..this app looks like it was built by a 2 year old. The user interface looks awful, and operates poorly. I was expecting a very high quality, top of the line app... especially if I spend 15k on a hot tub. Artic spas needs to invest a big portion of their profits and get a professional app developer and also someone that can design a proper looking, high end user interface.

The update looks good but I can't access the power management features anymore. It was nice being able to change them easily on Holidays. Now I will have to login with a computer. This is a step back. Update .... The power management feature was added back in and everything is working great again.

Before this revision, I could control my spa with no issues (wifi & cloud). I spent 2 hours trying to figure why nothing works anymore ( router, internet, network, reception interface, possible hot tub board failure issues.....) . I called Arctic spas and I was told to make sure I had the new update that occurred. Checked, and yes I did. Found out the update is the issue. I will wait and see if things get resolved. This remote capability/monitoring was the #1 reason for buying Arctic spa.

The old dark screen was better in my opinion, but frankly I could care less about a color. In the past, the app would work 25% of the time until recently when I went in and updated the firmware for all 3 options. Since the March 8, 2021 update to fix connection issues and android, I can report that with my 2020 tub, upgraded firmware and the new update, I can log in to the app with no concerns every time I try. Zero issues since. Please improve how it displays boost 'on' or sanitizing is 'on'.

Having troubles connecting now, says it can not connect when I go to log in so I use the direct connect through my wifi and then it connects but after I connect a pop up says it can not connect but I'm connected which is confusing. Not sure if the notifications are working? Would like a notification if temp drops. Also not sure how to update firmware, maybe it updates automatically but again not sure.

cannot connect to server. Uninstalled and reinstalled app. No luck . Can only connect through my wifi not through the arctic spa server.

The app has never sent me notifications when there are issues, fluctuation in chemicals. It seems that there is something else going on with our tub now, just went out and the water was cloudy the CL was red low and PH yellow low, added boost, which isn't a normal protocol I've had to do, has the Spa Boy gone into isolation too? Also, this app needs to control where on the light spectrum the colour of your lights are. Turning on and off the lights to get to the colour you want is lame.

You need to fix all the bugs people have been telling you about your app, it looks like people have been complaining for a number of years about it. I just got a $22,000 tub and can't connect to my tub on your garbage app for more then 10 seconds without being disconnected. Upgrade your app or send people some better hardware to put in to replace whatever garbage hardware is inside if that is the issue!

Can someone at least update the "help" so that it reflects the screen you are on? What do the buttons mean, what do they do? Is pump one on when it is lit up with ~ like in your sample image?

9 out of 10 times the app won't connect to the tub. Even when standing right next to it. I didn't think the UI could get much worse than it already was, but this new light theme takes the cake. Whoever designed this needs to be fired and a proper design team needs to be brought on. The app is extremely poor quality when compared to the $20,000 asking price of the tub.

It's sucky, and not right. It means well, but it just doesn't perform. Edit: Yes I'm on the latest version. No it won't connect half the time, it just refuses to login it. Sometimes direct connect works, other times it doesn't. The levels traffic lights are mickey mouse. I want real value pH graphs like the dealers can access, or at least the current pH/Cl values. Coloured dots tell me very little, they don't show trends, they don't help me manage my spa efficiently. The app tells me there is a firmware update for my spa, according to my dealer and his portal there isn't. So which is it? Also the whole layout, control and design of the app is pants, but then so is the Spa's own control panel so its not a surprise really.

I have to give the app 4 stars as I can't always get online. Absolutely love the tub and spaboy. I have tried to work thru the connectivity issues with tech support but to no avail.. However, whats with the new look hopefully some one changes it soon it's too child like... Keep up the good work though and rethink the app skin

This update just does not work with my 2 month old hot tub. It seems to read the temp but the reading, 37C is wrong when I check my laptop (after logging in to Arctic Spas) or on the tub. Setpoint for temp control does not work.pH/CL reading seems OK Blower icon moves around screen (and does not work anyway). Spa boost control does not work - takes me to a login page for Arctic Spas! I'd like to revert to the previous version but can't. *TESTING* required before release developers! Poor effort.

About 50% of the time, I can't connect to my spa, even when I paid extra to run a dedicated internet line straight to it. Extremely frustrating to pay $24,000 for a hot tub and you can't even control or check on it properly. When it works, it's great, but the shortcomings are super frustrating.

Everyone is making a dark theme app and Arctic Spas changes theirs to white? Is there a way to choose and/or switch back to a dark themed app? Haven't been happy with the unreliability of the app and typically cannot connect to my hottub when I want to. Also, for the past couple months it now says I have no filters installed!? How is that possible? Arctic Spas needs to really invest some $ and get a new App Developer asap. It needs to look high quality and be ultra reliable. Lots of work to do

Question: Any idea when notifications will be implemented? I have yet to receive any regarding PH level issues. Absolutely horrible! Rarely connects but when it does, adjusting a spa setting kicks you out of the app. The light theme is atrocious. Hire a professional UI designer especially when we are spending 20k on a spa. Please please work on the connection issue and revert back to a dark theme.

Hit and miss, haven't been able to connect for weeks, even direct connect! Have switched off power to reboot and nothing. The local dealership assistance is poor to, we are within 10 Miles of UK Head Office and they still want to charge £50 for a call out, it would be a weekly charge with this log in. I guess nobody will reply to this either! And I did as requested from your reply but guess what? Nobody responded to the email that you said to contact. Great hot tub, rubbish after service 😴

Arctic Spas should fire their development team for implementing the most ugly user interface update ever. I really liked the simple, profe and clean interface of the previous app.. These spas are supposed to be high end but the goofy and ridiculous images in the background of the app make it hard to use and frankly leave me feeling like its just some kind of kids toy or game. PLEASE CONSIDER REMOVING THE BACKGROUND CARTOON AND BUBBLE IMAGES OR AT LEAST GIVING THE USER THE OPTION TO CHANGE IT!

We initially had issues the first 2 days with connectivity, but watch the video and follow the steps to a T. The secret was to turn off auto-connect on the phone for our home wifi and allow the phone to 'connect' to the tub instead. It will say connected to wifi "no internet" and that is okay ... just keep going.

Alright I guess, but I find it frustrating to have to log in and then select my spa each time... There should be an option to stay logged in and if I only have one spa (like the vast majority of users) to have it automatically selected. This app does not need to have more login steps than my banking apps. I also don't know why everything (buttons, EZ button, and spaboy) can't easily fit on one page.

First day, seems to work over cloud (wired connection to hot tub). App displays °F even though hot tub displays °C and web site displays both. Can that be changed in the app to allow °C? Not sure if temperature controls from app work, but maybe that's because I have the partial lock set on the hot tub control. This will be a great app and feature if it continues to work.
