Arduino bluetooth controller

Hey, I'm writing this review due to a recent problem I've encountered with this app. All the features are great and extremely useful except for the dimmer. It seems that the dimmer sends out the integers continuously without anything to mark the end of the integer. This causes serial reads or serial parse ints to go wham in arduino. As of this point you can only use the dimmer by pressing on a section of it so that it sends only one whole integer. The dimmer cannot be used as some sort of slider that imitates a potentiometer. It would be helpful if you guys worked this out by putting some end marker for every integer the slider sends out. Overall, still the best app for bluetooth control on arduino.

This is a clean, intuitive app with a slick interface and some nice additional features (haptic feedback on the controller). However I have struggled with correctly interfacing the 'dimmer' with my Uno. It's evident that ASCII characters in the range 0-255 are transmitted serially and I can read these individually or as a long string from the serial buffer. However there is no (apparent) character for terminating a string. This results in not being able to cleanly read the incoming values without some unsatisfactory workaround. Some documentation or pointers on how the dimmer is to be read correctly would improve this app.

It would be great if the app had the option to change data stream frequency like 'choose continuous streaming or change with touch'.I had to say that because i made a bluetooth RC car and the switches were configured using this app and when i pressed the forward button for just a second , it went on without stopping.It would be nice if it had movements only when touched.

I have been looking for an app to control my arduino based project so desperately, and then I got this as a life saver. It's got everything thing in it never fails to deliver any command. It has a very good interface too. The experience was overwhelming. Thank you for making this awesome application.

App works as expected This is a great app, but one feature I feel should be in all of these Bluetooth apps, intended for use with the arduino is joystick control. The arrow pads are fine, but joysticks can let you control speed for cars which is a common use case of these apps

Really good app But I would really want a reconnect button inside the controller mode so that I wouldn't have to redo the whole connecting process all over again when I turn off the Arduino

Where is the problem...??? In my mobile or this application..??? This app can connect my module smoothly with Samsung galaxy A20 . But in Samsung galaxy m21 it could not connect . And shows this toast " could not pair with HC-05 .make sure make sure that it is ready to connect. " Please tell what should I do now .....( I have installed and uninstalled this app several time😤😤.)

rc car not stopping when i release the controler app buttons. my car suppose to stop when i let go the controler button. this app does not do that. other apps work just fine for that release button stop function . if i can find a way to fix it ill give it 5 stars.

Didn't work. My Bluetooth device shows up but it is unable to pair. I tried this with two separate devices (HC08) and two different phones.

This app works well for all of the Bluetooth projects that I have created using Arduino. It is stable and easy to use. Many thanks to the creators for providing this to the public.

It worked for me, at least. As a note of caution: if you have the MLT-BT05 4.0 bluetooth module give up. It's a bad module and it wont work unless you're lucky

This application really helped me in my first hc-05 trial thanks. On "Terminal mode" this app successfully send some serial data from my Android to Arduino, but why can't I receive serial data which sent by Arduino to my Android?

its horrible absolutly horrible, i truly appreciate its abilitys, ( if and when needed, used correctly) to be used to control others homes while they have no idea is wrong, it causes alot of mental and emotional issues, scares children, destroys familys, as a victim of this app for the last 9 months, im left only in shock please use this app for GOOD purposes only

It says my nvidia shield then gives me a pin I put it in and get nothing. Otherwise would have gave it better rating. I hit next and nothing happens when I put the pin in, waste of time

I had problems getting my HC-06 to work, this app was very helpful. I isolated my problem to the baud rate - it had to be 9600

Excelent app. Btw is it possible to send different data when the button is pressed and when the button is released?

The app is really good and it lets us configure the keys, so we can match it with our Arduino code.

I love scrolling through millions of devices because the list doesnt clear, clicking each one to reveal the name to find my bluetooth module

This app is the next best thing to writing your own custom app. So cool and flexible. Thank you for sharing

Doesn't work, Always shows unable to connect with remote device, please restart it.

Only tells me "that the device has failed to connect, please restart." But my bluetooth on the device is on

Bluetooth pairing didn't work with my HM-10. Found another app called Dabble, which worked

it works great, no problems at all, you can use it to test your code using the terminal mode.
