The aRFR supports all of the features on the Net3 RFR product, adding more functionality through the use of the touchscreen. The exact features of the aRFR are sourced by the connected control system; not all features are supported for both platforms. Check the documentation for your console.
Download the free tryout version of this application and verify that it runs on your specific Android device. In tryout mode, the software will disconnect every 10 minutes, and after 5 days, the option to connect will be disabled. You will then have to buy the full version. To be able to buy the update, you need to run Android 2.2 or later due to current limitations in the Google purchasing service.
With the aRFR on Eos Family products, you can:
• Select channels and set parameter data
• Playback and edit cues
• Park channels
• Conduct dimmer and channel checks
• Patch conventional fixtures
• Manipulate Color, Pan/Tilt and other parameters using dedicated graphical controllers
• View a Cue List Display (monitor only), with current cue, several previous and pending cues displayed
• View and interact with a Playback display; controls include Go, Stop/Back and Go to Cue
With the aRFR on Congo/Cobalt Family products, you can:
• Select channels and set parameter data
• Playback and edit presets
• Conduct dimmer and channel checks
• Patch conventional fixtures
• Manipulate Color, Pan/Tilt and other parameters using dedicated graphical controllers

When it works it's great. But it disconnects too often and gets stuck in weird modes... like patch that I can't change.
This is a trial version, and is useless. You need to purchase a licence within the app, which is $50. Because it is an in app purchase, it cannot be transferred to a new device, like a new phone.
doesent connect to the desk unless i turn off my 4g internet. i think the app is trying to use my mobile internet to communicate with the desk.
App works great. I just wish I could control Magic Sheets from it

Helpful to have a remote for your console always in your pocket, but functionality is rough. Definitely could use improvements /updates. Update: having to open the app with internet to verify that I paid is a royal pain, no longer easier to test lights when up on a ladder/lift. Also I sorely miss being able to patch fixtures. It looks prettier, but at least the classic version is less buggy. It's solid and dependable. I prefer classic free app now.
Overall, the additions are excellent. The auto connect is easy. All functions are accessible. Having direct selects, faders, all with labels has brought the convenience of the Console to the remote. Occasionally it takes a bit longer to do basic functions just because there's so many more screens to flip through. I do wish it was possible to turn off the animations of changing screens. I'm partially inclined to request magic sheet integration but fear the issues. Best to do the basics well.
Having big problem connecting android phones to this app. iPhone will connect fine , can you advise on wifi settings in phone. Running Android 8.0
Really want to like this app.. won't let me make the in app purchase with credit card, play store card, or paypal. I followed all the google advice for clearing playstore cache, re starting device etc etc etc. Please make available a "straight purchase" version, or find me the but. Kitkat 4.4 generic tablet Have upgraded to latest google services and store.

Took some getting used to, but ultimately a magnificent app. However, I sorely miss basic patch functions and hope they return with future updates.
I've owned this app for years, love the updates! Just one suggestion... Can we have the option to use the volume keys as next and last? Especially for channel check, I want to be looking at the lights and not have to look down because my thumb moved when checking 200+ lights every night.
The update is great. The UI is easier to work with and the functionality is exactally what I want. HOWEVER the way it manages the free vs paid version is terrible. EVERY TIME you open the app you are required to have internet connectivity. This means you have to disconnect from the console, open up local Wi-Fi, start the app, switch back to the console WAP and then connect the app to your system. If you accidently close the app in this process you have to start all over again. This needs to be fixed. If that issue were gone this would be a 5 star app.
Good clean update, but certain buttons have now been moved annoyingly out of reach for quick operation. The reversion to free version is too frequent too - this app is designed for an environment where it is likely to be offline for long periods - authenticate once a week at the very most
But hasn't been updated in years, lags behind the iOS version, and as others have noted, crashes on Android 5.1+
It seems like every time I try to use the app, it resets me to free mode, with no functionality. I have to disconnect from my console, connect to a network, restart the app to get activated on full mode, them reconnect to my console. I've been using OSC RFR app more frequently because of this glitch.
We waited a LONG time, but it was worth it! Haven't put it through its full paces, but awesome so far! Flexi for Direct Selects is a winner!

Does, as advertised, everything the RFR does and more, and much more reliable and faster than the RFR, but for one thing. In channel check, I'm tapping the Next button dozens of times in a row, but looking at the stage, not the phone, so my thumb can drift off the Next button on the screen. Could the app take over the volume up/down buttons and interpret them as Next/Prev, similar to the thumbwheel on the RFR?
It'd be nice if the new scene breaks in cue lists were visible in the playback menus
Love you guys, but please fix this app so it does not force close at start.
Thousands of times better than the remote control that comes as a very expensive add on to the consoles.
I've updated to a Galaxy S8+ and it took a bit of work to get it to connect but it is finally working again.
Crashes on Android 5.1 and is a completely different app compared to irfr.. Where is the the ETC support we all know and love?

i think this is almost great, but i there may some bug on encoder with gobo and prism, i can't find the way to charge mode!(eg. gobo rot or index,prism rot speed) ref.Gio with Mac Quantum profile. if the app can be better, i can really walk away form gio and go to everyway to program the light.❤️
