Arizona Sports 98.7 FM

Flawless:I installed this app last week after reading so many poor reviews. It has been flawless. I live in a rural area and use my phone for a hotspot with two bars and have run the Arizona Sports app simultaneously. I have received a call and the app starts up afterwards automatically. It plays with the screen off and doesn't lose a step. It also runs while using other apps. Basically, everything ppl have complained about it continues to work. I have Verizon Galaxy S9. Great app. Great shows!

Edit - I changed my battery settings for the app and the problem went away. Shouldn't have to make these changes, but at least the issue is gone. Constantly stops playing if the screen is off. Very frustrating when you have to restart a podcast every 10 minutes. 98.7 has great content but the app needs a lot of work. Please fix soon.

It's never been a great app but the new update is worse. Super buggie, app won't play live content, needs to be stopped and restarted to play. When it does finally play you get 3 - 4 minutes of commercials before live content starts. Then random live commercials throughout the broadcast, but the broadcast doesn't stop so you miss live content. Then when you are done the app stays open in your notifications and won't close without going into app ino and closing the app. You can do better 98.7

I want to give more stars because before this new "dark mode" it worked well enough but now it won't simply play the live shows or podcasts without the player breaking what seems like everytime I use it now and that's all I want. The podcast player is also worse now with less player options and it canned the "skip 15 seconds" option. Now a harder to use slider to move around the show. Probably to force more ads on you.

If you like listening to Arizona Sports 98.7FM don't download this app. Have to force stop at least once daily cuz it doesn't play. I now have to force stop during every commercial break because it will continue to play commercials until you stop it. I stopped after 5 minutes of straight commercials. Then re-load the app and have to sit through a video ad. If you love commercials/ads, this app is for you!

So, I can get the results of Devin Booker in the 3 point contest sent to me, but not a regular Suns game, or Coyotes, Devils, or Cats. I was signed up for all the text alerts, which gave me all the scores, great, but was also getting them from the app notifications, so I stopped all the texts. Since then, no scores sent through the app. I'd sign up for the texts again, but I don't need to know about any coach calling in for their weekly interview, or what they just talked about 2 hours before.

When the game is on the line, this app is the loser every time. The buffering and the data loss are horrendous. If the player is stopped, or the app is reset to try to start the session over, then the app goes into limbo. Very frustrating to say the least.

I've LOVED this app, both for tuning into the broadcasts, but also for the great articles. 50% is gone, and I can't find support to fix it. Every article is now in black print on a dark background, and can't be read.

Unless your screen is on, the chances of the stream continuing uninterrupted is nil. It was unavailable for some time, and I hoped it would be smooth when it was back up. Not the case. Please get this fixed so fans out of state can still get their AZ Sports fix and a taste of home.

This is a terrible app. It always cuts out during the podcasts and never comes back on even if you restart it. The only thing that seems to work are the ads and nobody wants them. They need to fix this.

What a piece of junk. Trying to stay connected after moving and this app is doing everything it can to prevent me from doing so. Even more commercials than radio. App crashes constantly.

App used to work. No longer streams over cellular network (every time it says the net connection is weak or non-existent, despite a rock-solid connex). It will only work via Wi-Fi. Uninstalling.

The app doesn't work, continuously locks up. This is only good for reading the articles. Listening to the live shows locks up everytime regardless of connection.

frustrated! for years i never had no problem with this app until this month.now error messages etc. infact i uninstalled app and tried to reinstall to see if it was my phone causing issue, then i saw other frustrated users reviews. hope they fix it soon

As other reviews have noted you cannot access individual stories. Notifications are supposed to take you directly to the article. Instead, one third of the page has a static picture with no access the the unreadable underlying darkened print.

Crashes too often. Frustrating once it crashes, cant get back on. Too bad you're not on the radio in Tucson. Shows are entertaining. The same old commercials over and over ugh.

It has a great format, and has great content, but it's ALWAYS lagging. It just pauses and never comes back, and it's oddly difficult to close.

fantastic at playing ads that cant Be skipped. steaming sports however, is always a higher batt drain than youtube videos and cuts out on streaming randomly, on both wifi and cell usage causing you to click stream again and play the ad again, rinse, repeat.

This app isn't built correctly. The app crashes every 5 to 10 mins. It used to be very good, but now it's very frustrating to support the station. Hire a real IT person.
