It logs on and then once I start trying to do anything at all on it, it just keeps saying ...reconnecting reconnecting, reconnecting. Cannot use it!!! I'm having trouble with my second TiVo box, website tells me that app works better for use, but the app won't work either!!! Getting frustrated.
Now unusable on my Chomebook. Used to work in the past but now keeps reconnecting. If I do manage to stay connected the stutter on playback is terrible. Dont matter if I download a recording or stream it massive stutter at any of the 3 qualities you can choose. Youtube, Netflix, Hulu etc all work just fine so issue not on my end.
EXP is the worst. I have only written one other review in my life. It was for my dentist, and I gave her a higher rating than EXP. Trying to watch football on my laptop, all I get is glitching, spinning wheels, frozen screens -- and this is at home. I have yet to successfully use EXP over mobile. Service swears it is available. Tried dumbing down "video quality" to fuzzy "stick men" playing football. No luck. Why keep it? Our Baltimore Orioles network, MASN Sports, is only available on ARMSTRONG. So I guess I am STRONGARMED into keeping them.
App worked well until about 3 weeks ago. Since then, the app will not allow me to log in. I keep getting redirected to a TiVo search engine result. Being away from home often, I really relied on this app to stay up to date with my shows. Very disappointed in Armstrong. Hopefully it gets fixed soon.
Not offering an app for your customers that pay for out of home streaming but then have to use your website is bad. This app should work on or off your network and NOT require your wireless router. I'd suggest making a new app for those who want to keep their own routers and take advantage of the streaming service. Going through your website isn't really efficient for mobile devices!
I was having the same problems as many users. Go into settings and make sure your TiVo shows Media Access that's what controls other devices ie tablet, phones..my box did not have one so it had to be switched out for a box that had Media Access and I now have it on my tablet with full access
The app is great for watching your shows wherever but that is about it. Everything takes way to long to load and downloading shows is a LOT slower than it should be. These problems can be fixed, but I am still waiting.
All you really can do is look at the guide and set shows to record. Watching live tv is impossible. Freezes seconds in to the program and gives an error. And yes I have clear app cache, force stopped,un/reinstall and also redid out of home streaming setup. If watching tv portion worked I'd give 5 stars
Use to work great until had to switch out defective DVR for new DVR now won't read the DVR. Works on defective DVR but not a working DVR go figure I ***UPDATE*** The box was missing it's Media Access control. That controls other devices you have. Box was switched out for box that had Media Access and now once again, I have full access to the app on my Android device
the app does not work. period. and from reading reviews it has not worked all year! come on and get it together armstrong. people are paying their hard earned money for this overpriced service and you can't fix an issue like this in 5 months!
It's hard to leave a review when your app doesn't even load at all. It just sits at setting up and then gives you an error. Armstrong really needs to step up their app to at least a working status.
hasent functioned correctly since December up. Fails to allow logon at the entry screen. people the would use this app pay a premium price for EXP services. Why doesn`t Armstrong provide them? Apparently they just do not care or the rating would be higher.
HORRIBLE APP!!!! Restarts my cable box everytime I try to use it. Uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times and same result everytime.
does not operate as advertised. user beware. Armstrong we pay quite a bit for a service and expect it to work as advertised at least 90% of the time. please update this app to fix bugs.
This app is horrible, it is difficult logging in and lags constantly when streaming, Xfinity is a completely superior system compared to this
this app sucks it used to work but you go to log in and it brings you to some search screen like you are in google. please fix and update so people can watch shows from phone highly disappointed
I can't get to work on my Galaxy, it worked for about 1 year. When I called told them I couldn't connect, said they are working on it. That was around the first of the year 2019.
Works great! Out of home streaming and downloaded content for offline very convenient
Will not open properly. Update this app! Slow. Buggy. Needs numerous attempts to reload

Permissions requested to allow app to make phone calls on my phone. Nope.
Never let's me watch anything on mobile I've tried on several devices, android and apple.
it wont load it loads then the screen is white on the bottom it says reload u puch it and take u back to logging in smh .... headache

I have a dell lap top and this app is useless it says installed but it wont open does nothing but take up space
Lately, it is not even working. It keeps telling me to sign in then takes me to a webpage about TiVo and I can only view downloaded shows not recorded ones. When it did work, it was very glitchy, constantly kicking me out and making me sign in everytime I tried to play a recorded show. I hope they do an update and fix these issues.
