In this tug-of-war, casual defense game based on the MGM classic movie, you play Ash, the time-traveling, evil-fighting, S-Mart sales clerk as you defend Lord Arthur's castle and the Necronomicon from the oncoming hordes of evil undead. Of course, you can't do it alone! Call upon multitudes of allies including Lord Arthur, Duke Henry the Red, the Wiseman, and many more to help you in your quest to defend the unholy book and use it to return to your own time. I have played Army of Darkness for a very long time and on different devices. Now, I changed my phone and reinstalled the game but it just keeps crashing every time I try to open it. Please fix it, your game does not deserve the rating I am giving right now but I can't give it more stars if I can not be able to open it without crashing.
Doesn't work on Android Pie!! Tried to play this on my Note 9 and Tab S4 and it won't get past the start-up screen. I noticed it's not been updated since 2016, so c'mon developers, get it sorted.
I almost thought I found a fix, but to no avail. Please fix it devs, it won't launch :( I miss this game. Can't actually run it but wish it still worked. One of the best phone games I've played.
I used to play Army of Darkness this was one of my gratest games to play as a child but I am a shamed to hear that this no. Longer works if you still read reviews ease fix this game as this is my favourite game to play as a child and would still play now this game deserves a 5 star review but I cant say its the best if it crashed before loading the game up please fix 😢
Great game. Fun to play but It wont work on most new devices for I've tried on mine and I've seen in a lot of the reviews. The developers aren't supporting it anymore and it has been removed from the app store.
😥Im Sad to have found out it was discontinued and the game no longer works. Just got a new large tablet for games. I found this in my play library and downloaded it to relive those fun nostalgic nights. But sadly no longer works.😥
Using a Pixel 4a in 2022 and this still runs great, except the in-app purchasing no longer working. But in-app purchasing is old.
I love this game but I can't play on my Samsung note 20 D: I know its hard to switch from dalvik to ART buuutttttt if there was anyway to be able to switch it back so maaayyybeeee I could play it and others I would get ittttt I have it downloaded currently I really enjoyed this game when it was out I beat it a few times
Played this like crazy on my old iphone 4. Would love to play it again, but it crashes before even getting past the logos. I'd even be willing to pay a few bucks for it working... C'mon now, WB... 🥺
One of the best classic line defence games. Sadly developers no longer exist and latest version doesn't work (never update!). Have to find the apk download of an older version on another site.
I loved this game and played it a lot on my iPod but, now on my phone the game crashes Everytime I load it up. I would play it all the time if I could.

It is a fun game But... it is not anymore in google play. I have it in my library but if I remove it I will never ever be able to find it again. Idk why but this game can't be found anymore in the goohle play store.

LOVE THIS GAME! I use to play on my galaxy S5 and loved it, just reinstalled to play again on my galaxy Note 9 and it it wont load past the backflip studios logo....please help. and thanks.
This game is amazing but right now, I can't even make it past the loading screen, gave 5 starts because it is a great game just wish I could play it again.

Great game, my uncle showed me this when I was young and I loved it Game doesn't show up in play store when I searched it but I just found it in my previously installed and downloaded it again as I used to love the game
It's an amazing game but you have to go through Google to find the game on the app store. The creators aren't even searchable on the play store
If you cannot launch this on phone and have a computer try bluestacks and look in your library for prevoiusly installed games.

Everything about this game is good, and I loved it on my old iPad. After I lost it I haven't really played it until now. Unfortunately it couldn't get past the Backflip studios loading screen. I scrolled through the comments and saw that many other people have this issue as well. I sincerely hope Backflip studios can fix this issue so we can all enjoy this game once again. :)
