The exercises that are available are great, but something that I noticed while going through the app is that it doesn't really explain how many sets of certain things you're supposed to do. Some things are obvious that you only do once, but with the Four for the Core sections, are those supposed to be each thing three times? If so, is it completed in a station or do you go down the list once, rest, then do it all again? Plus it doesn't explain what the push-up sit-up drill is at all.

It isn't bad, but needs work. The scoring standards for the ACFT do not account for the Alternate events. All four Alternate events have been available for quite some time now. The cardio events have been available for over a year, the Plank event for nearly a year. While scoring tables are not available for those events, the minimum passing scores of 60 and the time requirements are. Currently if you select an alternate event and input the minimum required time of 25:00 for passing all the scoring app will do is say pass. The 60 points are not attributed to the score. This is going to be an issue when the ACFT goes live because Soldiers and NCOs will use the app to score (even though they should be looking at the official publications, because this is the Official Army Application). It will create headaches for command teams trying to address why their unit has so multiple Soldiers failing the ACFT (especially when they aren't) simply because someone will input the data directly from the score on the App into a scorecard and then into the training database. I get that the full scoring isn't available but those minimum standards have been available for a long time. 25:00 for the alternate Cardio events is 60 points 2:00 for the plank is 60 points. That needs to be implemented, and soon.

This app surprised me, it's got everything I remember doing during my time in the Army National Guard, down to the entire physical fitness training schedule that soldiers go through in basic training. I'm not sure if it would appeal to someone who isn't familiar with "military style" of exercise, but I found myself motivated tapping through at the sections.

Love this app as it is extremely useful to us in the Army, however my app keeps clitching and I have to constantly shut it completely down, only for it to do it again when I go back into it. We tell our students to use ot, however, Android users are no longer able to find the app, only iPhone users can. PLEASE fix ASAP!!! This app is extremely useful and I use it everyday. It also does not make a difference if I clear out the cache on my phone or specifically for this app on how well it perform.

Great info!!! Especially the metronome functions (180 steps per minute is the optimal pace for running)... If only the metronome actually worked! Recommend using a metronome website or something instead, or you will find yourself skipping steps.

With the most recent update it is showing PASS but then states underneath that you didnt achieve the standards. Also it would be beneficial to have the score chart with the branch/mos breakdown. Especially since standards have apparently changed.

the app does not have the plank event in the alternate events can you put it in i like the Videos put more [q~"]get the drill instructor to put something on the app shuttle run is the best put it on a video so that i can hear him do a app like the army for the mariens and one for the navy and one for the air force so that people can see them that i like the app the references section was good the lat pull down is the best flexed arm hang and pull up is the best

The army has abandoned this APP. Maybe all the updates to the ACFT were too confusing for them. Don't bother downloading this. Please update the ACFT standards. The bike event still reads 15000 meters when it was updated to be 12000 with the 3.0 update.

App has not updated in almost 2 years the ACFT has changed and this tool no longer assists with calculating score. Update and I will change my review.

Now that the Army has come out with the standards, it's time to get your devops team back to work pushing the updates. No MOS, Age and Gender scoring, and alternate event changes. Best of luck!

I loved this app, however its no longer updated to the new scoring standards for the ACFT and doesn't have the plank or alternate cardio as an event at all.

The app idea is great, but if it's not going to be updated worth policy changes, then it's closer to worthless. Today is 20APR2022, and the apps last update was 22JAN2020.

Ste. E. Apr 12, 2022

Great app, however as this is from TRADOC, why is it not updated with new ACFT standards that have been published for nearly 2 weeks? When will new standards, published by TRADOC, get updated on TRADOC app?

Mic. H. Apr 28, 2022

Outdated as of April 2022. The App has not been updated with the new recovery drill, new ACFT standards, removal of LTK, ect.

Sea. W. Sep 28, 2019

Amazing App, went with 1 stars until they update with ACFT and maybe a slide deck on resourcing and conducting ACFT... And TRADOC still slow to do updates like the normal world and Businesses.

And. W. Dec 6, 2018

Apft calculator does not update when switched to alternate events. Also, does not provide option for Soldiers who are exempt from push-ups and sit-ups.

The reference tab that breaks down each exercise in the drills disappeared! I tried uninstalling it and reinstalled it, nothing.

Tim. M. Feb 1, 2022

App is outdated. The video links are old and instructions for at least CD2 ND recovery drills have been modified. App needs updated

Car. P. Jan 2, 2020

App use to play demo videos of exercises. Since the update. Videos no longer play or not accessible.

Spa. Jan 6, 2021

Great information but they should add the new exercises for the recovery drills and well and the changes for the other misc. exercises that recently released.

Pau. L. Mar 9, 2022

Hasn't been updated for 2 years. Since links don't work and a few things have changed since then.

Knowing how large our defense budget is and just how terrible any digital item our DoD has a hand in creating or managing... is flat out embarrassing.

ass. o. l. Jan 8, 2022

The exercises in this app need to be updated. They are no longer accurate

Ber. V. Jun 17, 2021

It needs an update to include new H2F guidelines. (Sustaining Build, Peak and Transition, etc).

Ken. J. Jul 6, 2021

Still hasn't been updated with the new exercises that were pushed out in October '20.

Cla. G. Jul 14, 2021

Good for referencing the drills it just needs to add the 3 new stretches to the end of the recovery drill.

FEN. 1. Feb 28, 2021

Good App but needs to be updated with drills and exercises from Oct 2020 FM 7-22 and ATP 7-22.02 I don't see any running drills in app.

Tra. O. Jun 7, 2020

Offer the total score spreadsheet as opposed to only score input to total(s).

Mat. H. Dec 7, 2019

Extremely useful, and they've added the ACFT material too!
