The idea is very, very clever, and all the of the mechanics are very anticipating. However the user only begins two chords, a simple major and a simple minor. If you are someone with extra money, I would definitely, absolutely you explore this app. But if you're a broke musician that wants to learn how to be a better musician, this app is not for you. Writing in "major vs minor" is no way to be a proper musician. So unless you're willing to subscribe, this app is just, cheese
Initially I was angry about the app being free and you have to buy stuff to improve (vastly in some areas) the functionality. However, for this the cost is negligible. What I would like to see is more instruments, or more control over the effects. An echo/delay effect would be wonderful! All of which, I would cheerful pay a good chunk of change for So, it's good - very easy way to summon inspiration. The interface is a joy. However, it just needs a bit more to be really, really great.
I've had this on my phones for upwards of 5 years, got all the packs the first day. I just wanted to extend my thanks for making Aprio. It's been there whenever I wanted to make a melody or get something out when I don't have an instrument near by. Lunch breaks, down time ext. I've even made a few songs with it. So, to anyone who produces music of any kind, this is a great little thing to just have around for fun, or for something a little more fleshed out. Much love
great idea, needs MIDI/CV options. you should crowdfund it and make it into a controller app and/or develop it into a hardware device. I would love to be able to record and edit the MIDI output, I'm sure others would love to chip in and make use of Arpio in their studio aswell. it would be fun with modulars too, for sure. Great stuff, want more...
Brilliant app, it would awesome if there is an option to change the lines above and below to be "single" note movements so you can play all "jazz notes" too and easily switch key, I think this is more useful than "changing tempo" which i find quite jarring
This is just a toy compared to the ios version. With that, you get control over the pattern and theres tons of modifiers and the neat thing is it controls other synth apps, its called a virtual midi controller, and i dont see why the heck they cant do ANY of that on here!!! Anyway the one on ios is one of the best musical innovations ive ever seen.
Not really for making music so much as screwing around, but it is fun. NOTE: lots of flashing lights!!! Do NOT use this app if you have photosensitive epilepsy or are prone to migraines. Should really come with a more obvious warning.
im really having buyers remorse cause i upgraded all features and just really is lacking any real features . only one chosen instrument sound? no midi out?? no record and save . still i kinda see potential so hope more features get released and if so i would rate better.
I upgraded to full version but it sends me an error message saying that I purchased the app, but it won't play extended features that I paid for on my tablet, but it will on my phone, which is the device I purchased it on. Hopefully I'll be able to use it with my tablet besides just the free version. - Nate B
Dude! Real talk, this is without a doubt, the most amazing music app on here. The transitions it does is so freaking clean, like I swear to god man, I was just BSing around with it, and I thoughy I was suddenly listening to some slick DJ beats.
One of my favorite mobile apps ever..great for fidgeting, inspiration, and experimentation. Exciting/interactive use, and a pleasing design. ♡ PS- try pairing up with a friend using an app with other effects ;)
The visuals were not lined up with where you actually touched, meaning an entire column was unusable. It sounds pretty, though.
Wow this is amazing, I definitely want to recommend it to everyone that enjoy making your own music. I am so happy and excited to play this more and more, thank you kindly 👋😊
This app is one of the most innovative, creative and utile music apps there are on the PlayStore and that sadly does not get the recognition it deserves. What a beauty
Love the app but no longer full screens properly on Galaxy S8+ and the touch points no longer line up so it's become unusable. Bought all the extras, can this be fixed?? Five stars when it works!
I would rather say it's an innovational rhythm/arpeggiator player. The thing I hate the most is, that we can't add in custom rhythms.
Where is the MIDI support? The patterns were all included with the app on IOS, here they're divided into 4 groups and sold with in-app purchases. Also this only have like 1% of the features of the IOS version. Really disappointed.
I just want to let you know that I paid for all of the micro transactions and then immediately contacted Google to say that your app wasn't updated so then I got my refund and kept the DLCs.... So I have the DLC and I didn't pay for them...lol
Excellent noise/music maker tool. Once you purchase the libraries. Should be able to work with my other "toys". You will like this app.
Easy to figure out and sounds crystal clear. Good for learning scale ideas on guitar.
wish there were more patterns and scales free but thats fine, but please add midi support, this would be really cool through a vst
This app is in my top 5 all time favorites since I downloaded my first app on my first phone. I'm continually discovering new things I can do with it. Well done and thank you!
Phenomenal! This is so good, gonna make some awesome songs with this! Keep em coming, arpeggio generator things.
This app is wonderful. Please add a record option so that the users can create and use their music.
great New instrument, but I'll give 5 Stars if Ableton Link capabilities are added, please, at least give us a beta version with this soon!
Pretty good id say the only bug is the slowness glitch were you go to one of the top corners and it will still be slow
I love that kind of stuff, I play with this for hours, its a ton of fun even when sticking to the free version, I just want a way to hold the notes and a mode where It changes notes with the tempo so that the notes don't get cut off. Although Im removing a star because even with the paid version, it's still missing a lot of features, most you'll find in the iOS version which costs pretty much the same, I hope that in the future, this app will be update to be as good as the iOS version.
