Arro - Your Taxi, Your Way

1st time downloading it AND while I was in the cab! I hailed the cab on the street, downloaded it in the car and set it up. It worked perfectly!! I was running late for the airport and every minute counted. I was able to check in and pay before I even got out. Everything was a breeze!! I hate to use Lyft or Uber in New York City because that's a taxi town! Arro makes cabs competitive with those platforms. Thank you ARRO!!!!!

What a piece of garbage. App doesn't give you any idea of how long you'll wait. Watched the supposed taxi not move, then suddenly jump six blocks but never get closer to me. Cancelled after waiting 15 minutes and got charged a cancellation fee. That's how they make their money.

Do not even bother. Stay on Uber. My first time using this was for an important interview, I asked for a taxi with time and he canceled 2mins away from getting to my place. I guess if someone in the street asks them to take them they will cancel the pickup on you. I have to get an Uber and now I'm late for my appointment.

Horrible experience. App does not work, endless "loading" and "unknown error". I have wasted far too much of my time on this app that is so not ready for prime time.

Ok. Your stupid app disabled my account and there's no information how i can reset it. I m in a taxi and can't pay with the app. No easy way out. I agree with other reviewers who have the same experience... It's annoying.

Very awkward app. You have to force close it often to get it to let you book taxi. Out of 4 attempts, 0 we're successful. Finally hailed a cab the o'l fashioned way.

Facebook login no longer functions, reset password doesn't work either. App is outdated. Don't use

Unable to use at all. Update required upon attempting to open app but it won't update. Also, unable to reinstall after full uninstall. Able to both update and install other apps okay. --Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 --South Central U.S.

This app is completely and utterly useless. I have had it for three weeks and I have not been able to hail one single cab. I LIVE IN NEW YORK CITY. It's only able to connect to its server about 30% of the time, and when it does, no drivers are ever available. What an absolute waste of time and memory space.

Absolute garbage app. I installed it again just to leave a review and warn everyone. The app crashes every time I try to hail a taxi. I can't even see how many taxis are available or how long they will take to arrive. Don't waste your time setting up an account and entering your payment info.

Used to work fine but now when i log in it freezes on some privacy notice. Tried deinstalling it and that didn't work. Tried to create a new account but i get an error message saying i need to provide an email and cell number even though i included both. Tried emailing support but didnt get a response.

Things this app does not do: - Let you set a pickup spot at an intersection rather than an address - Provide you with an eta for the cab you have hailed - Charge you for tolls in the app, necessitating a verbal negotiation and leaving your wife in the cab as collateral while you run upstairs to get cash - Apparently, tell the driver where your destination is, so that they get pissy with you about your destination if it's mot in Manhattan, which I get, but is easily headed off with technology

App keeps crashing when I enter destination on Android. Can enter the first part - eg postcode or street - but crashes when you select the number. Similarly, if you select one of their destinations like Gatwick Airport - crashes again. Uninstalling.

Uninstalled. Had a few rides from this app but the fare at the end is drastically different from the quote. It's very hard to find drivers who will take an arro request. You'll wait ages. If you I installband try to re-install you have to request a code emailed to you. It never comes, much like the drivers this all says they'll find for you. Don't bother, don't re-bother.

no notice telling how long the cab is coming. maybe I don't want to wait a long time for a cab to come. you have to keep typing the same address , should have same address options . you see had to come back add details . waiting all that time for a cab and then they send you a message stating sorry nobody accept you ride after they tell you cab is on the way. really need to fix app because it needs improvement.👎👎

Doesn't even send a confirmation text. Useless.

Cannot sign up as a visitor to the US from Ireland. My business card is rejected as invalid. Visa Checkout crashes on creating a new account. Visa Checkout refuses password on login with existing password. Latest Android 9 on Google Pixel 1. I wasted over half an hour on this. Is this the best you can do to onboard tourists to NYC? Miserable, miserable experience.

The app works well, just need more cabs to answer the call.

I was looking for a cheaper alternative to lyft/uber . . . for a daily 5 minute ride, that would not cost me, 10-12$. But, the app keeps continuously crashing. Everytime I try to use it.

Would not send me verification code. I checked to make sure that my number was correct several times. Logged in and out, tried resending the code. Nothing worked. Uninstalled. Back to uber and lyft.

Too many glitches and crashes.

Decent pricing but the app needs a serious upgrade. A telephone number needs to be provided when a charge is being disputed. Arro takes too long to respond via email. The app is slow.

Cannot reset password. It never sends an email. It gives a login with facebook option but that doesnt work at all either

Very nice driver at 6am ...but totally overcharged! extra for Traffic, no traffic at that time, other extras $18 to go 2 miles. Will never use it again.

Trying to sign-up / register from a taxi in Chicago. It refuses to recognize my cell number as being valid and can't progress past that screen.
