Art Amino

This is a great app for artists and enthusiasts alike, I personally use it to put out tutorials and connect to people with the same interests as me. It would help though, if it had where if you do not go into the chat for a certain amount of time, the notifications would automatically stop so that it would not go crazy all the time. Also, it would really help the experience if the updates included information on what was ON the update. But other than that, the app is great.

I have been using Art amino for nearly over two years and i have enjoyed using this app, being a part of an art community , everyone is very supported on the site given good feedback to each other, the app itself is very easy to navigate through , using the voting polls , posting pictures and videos. I would of given this a fice stars but I have decided a four because sometimes their technical issues not many , but i am not sure if my device or the site .

I would like to try this app, but unfortunately it crashes Immediately after opening it each time. When I got the notification for my welcome message, the app opened and seemed to work. After closing it again, I tried to reopen with the same crashing issue.

Several problems, the main one for me being that every time you click on a post by someone else, your phone vibrates. There is no way to turn it off, at least to my knowledge. Scrolling on here at night is not recommended because every time you tap a post it vibrates. It's super frustrating Another problem is that the moderators are super strict. In my opinion, this app is for younger users, but not for me.

It's really amazing for artists. Even for begginers like me. You can get critisism from people to see what you are doing wrong and right. You can make art for others. The only reason I gave it 4 stars, is because I don't think you should age limit the app... It's art. I'm pretty sure it would be fine if it was like 8+ because I'm pretty sure an 8 year old can avoid calls and all that... It's kinda annoying. And if you get into problems like me, embarassing. Other than that, it's cool.

It's a little restricting in that art that could easily fit in more than one category is restricted to two, but it's easy to use, has some fun perks, and it's also easy to find or make groups that gear towards your interests.

I recently joined this app (username is Honeybee if your wondering) and it's so fun! You get a warm welcome as soon as you join and everyone there is so kind. I haven't posted any art yet but when I do I hope people will like it. It's awesome to get tutorials and tips in art, you can also see other people's art, take part in challenges, polls and answer question posts. If you like to share art and check out other people's then this is definitely the app for you!

You don't draw on here. There's advice and tips but its only for uploading art. My tablet version doesn't allow me to upload artwork that often. So if I want to share a piece, the app is like, "Nope, sorry we can't let you upload digital art!" Its what I think it's saying. But relatively positive. Everybody is like a Bob Ross clone. You can do digital on there but it has to be small. The group chats are nice too. That's all I do. Overall would give a 4 star if it compresses my art.

Got reported first day I had this app, and my profile was made not viewable to other users. Honestly not much variety on here its mostly digital art which is cool, if that's your thing. Not much paintings at all. As for constructive criticism there is none, people love to point out anything they don't like without any suggestions or tips for improvement. Poorly run.

This app is pretty great so far. I've been using this app for almost a month now? I would totally recommend this app if you want to get inspiration somewhere or learn from others. The only thing i really wish they would insert in, is the future that you'll get notifications or get recommendations from the one you've followed. Just like on instagram. I hope that it'll get included. But so good so far :)

Going to art school atm. This app is great for inspiration for my sketchbooks and getting feedback on works I post. The staff is great and really helpful. Also they legally have to enforce a minimum age of 13 so maybe if youre under 13 be smart enough not to announce your age and staff won't be forced to ban you? If youre not able to figure that out you are probably far too young to be on the app.

I used to use Art amino back in high school and I started using it recently again, but it seems so new and different! Everything is very professional and they have events that encouraged flourishing artists of all ranges to participate! I truly missed this!

Mostly art as in drawing but occasional arts and crafts projects. Great app if you do both. It's just fun, nothing is really that serious here. Easy to follow rules, rule breakers are far and in between. Chats hardly anyone reads the rules. If your standards are low for chat rooms or only want to post and comment on stuff you'll like this app.

I think this app is cool to look at others people creativity. But I think the communities have to many strict rules about things that don't matter. Someone in the community disabled my poll which ( I didn't know they could do that)🙄when technically you can't control what people post. But it got disabled because I asked artist about what type of music genre they listened to. Just in case they didn't notice music is also art. Excuse me for ranting but I think this app needs major changes.

I finally found an app where I can get my art noticed and I can chat with people online! This app is absolutely amazing and I love everything about it. It isnt slow. I can freely show anything I want and there is easy to follow guide lines. I love art amino 👍

About 100-400 active users, there are some skilled artists, but it seems most of the community consists of beginner artists. I get an average of 30 likes on a post, but most of it seems to be lvl 1 users who auto like and never return. Feels a lot less active than it was a few years ago. Stopped posting due to little to no feedback + other artists I like left the platform. After a while, it feels like exactly the same posts/questions/polls are being made on a loop. Not horrible, but not good.

It is a very great app to let other people see ur art and to express yourself to the world without people knowing who you really are. In my experience on this app, which is over 2 years, I have never been bullied about my art or been told in the comments that it is bad and that I should quit, so I think the community is really nice and I have loved my experience with it so far.

Love this app, but i didnt give 5 ⭐ because there are some problems... the app is a great place to share your art and chat to all types of artists. but.. it sometimes glitchs ,but overall its a fun place for artist:)

love the community! great place to share art n grow! It does kill my batteries (both phone n tablet) the drain is so bad I can't charge them if this is running in background. after use I have to go in and manually force stop to be able to charge the batteries, will also drain batteries while plugged in! (idk if new update changes this or not yet)

Performance is EXTREMELY slow. It literally takes FOREVER to load that i can't even post! I even fell asleep the other night waiting for the notification to load! Please do something about this. ASAP!

So far I've had a great experience with this app. It's easy to post, socialize, learn art, and helps me post consistently with the "check-in" system. Overall I like the community and I hope it stays amazing.

I think it's great it's a lil but confusing but i think i can work my way around it. I do think it could be a lot more navigatable and maybe a bit less cluttered? Thanks!

I recemmed this game for all artists or people who like looking at art. You can join chats, make friends and the more you are active the more points you get and you tyen get to leval up. You can like and comment on posts and give people props which are game coins. Please install this app if it sounds like your sort of thing because it is super fun!!!❤🎉💞💕😍⭐✴

I believe this app is amazing for artists. I can also communicate with my friend better because her phone isn't compatible with mine so we can text and voice chat on here.Overall this is a amazing app to meet new people and get your art known!!!

i really ,really love this app ! there are not any ads,and it is not slow at all . similar to an Instagram for only art , and my favourite thing is that it is like social media snd a game combined ! definitely reccomend.

This is one of the best apps for artists!! it have a secure and safe community with really mindblowing organizations and all. There is a good safety for artists and their work. though the community guidelines might appear strict they serve an important purpose and i really stand by it. i just live this app as a growing artist. pls do read the guidelines before hand to avoid any bans. My possible suggestion would be that they could organize some weekly contests and stuff within the app!

it's a very good well-organized! love it. the only complaint I have is that the rules are so strict and there's so many of them that you accidently break some occasionally but not on purpose. I freaked out wen my very first post when was taken down lol

Its a really good community, art theft is a HUGE problem though. I seen multiple copies of the exact same art with just a different background. Another problem is the moderators are entitled and childish. Most of them anyway. I used to be a huge member of this community but faded away now I am going back.

Four stars. I've been using it for years And love it, but some people are toxic, or too bossy. I've met great people yes but a lot of people are rude and too harsh. So they need to fix that byt otherwise great app reccomend it!
