Art Filter Photo Editor Selfie

What an unpleasant app! It starts quick enough. It loads a photo. It starts applying the filter. Why does it take so long? And nothing. Different filter, same results. Oh, I get it, it needs to phone home. And that was the problem. Actually the filter is quickly applied, but you have to pay for each change with your time, battery and data plan. The app is lying, it is not working, it's just the time you have to watch spam to get the results. And than more spam for changing screens.

It is a great app but when I decrease the intensity of a filter and then save the photo, the saved photo is same as 100% intensity. So please FIX IT! I tried many times but it's the same. Also when a photo is saved, it takes some time to appear in the gallery... but it's not a very big problem.

It would be a wonderful app if there weren't so many ADS!!! I have never seen an app with this many!!!You spend a majority of the time you're using the app watching ads and only a little bit of time creating awesome photos!!! I had to turn it off and write this review instead of applying the filters to other photos (like I wanted to do) because I became so annoyed with all the ads. the filters are good as well as the enhancement features. Very quick and easy to use IF they cut the ads down.

Fairly decent app, all things considered... Cons: Very little or no control over strength of effect or area it's applied to. Sometimes effect is not applied properly or wrong effect is applied. (Could be caused by slow or poor data connection) Pros: Ads are minimal and unobtrusive, from what I can tell, they're only shown when effect is loading. No "premium/subscription only" effects! All effects shown can be applied without additional purchase. (For this, I thank you!)

One of my friends suggest me this app to edit my photos to art or paint. The app is pretty organized and the UI of the app is quite good. The 1st time I open this app it gives me premium pop-up. After closing the pop-up, I finally found ads. Then I can edit my photos or camera. The filters are good but leggy. The most annoying thing is you have to face ads for every click. After seeing so many ads I can finally edit my photos. When I save my work, it becomes duplicate out of nowhere.

Love this app, has great filters, but it has a tendency not to work after a month or so (and at peak times) saying something like 'try again later; servers too busy' when I try to use it, and never improves... unless you uninstall, then reinstall a few hours later. Please fix so I can give you 5, I love it besides this issue!!

When I first downloaded the app, I loved it. The filters were great, and I could watch a video ad to remove the watermark. I was going to give the app 4 stars, but they seem to have removed the ability to remove the watermark, and there is no paid version. Big raspberry. Call me if you come out with a paid version or some way to remove the watermark.

This is actually a very nice app, so why 2 starts? Well I understand they have to make money by showing ads but this app shows an ad for every single step you do. So in order to simply add a filter to your photo and then closing the app, you will have to watch at least 5 to 6 ads that can be 30 seconds each so to do one photo, it can take up to 5 mins and if you need to edit something else, thay means more ads. And on top of all that, even after showing all those ads photos have their mark/logo

Every 2 seconds an ad shows. There are probably only 10 filters available. Every time you select a new filter.... Another ad! I for one believe that such an amount of disruption will mean that people will use it once or twice and delete it. Which I have used it once and am now deleting. Thanks and byeeeee

Downloaded and Uninstalled. The app itself has some nice filters and seems easy to use but not much different than what's offered in other apps. Each action taken in the leads to an ad. Seems to be the norm now with a lot of apps. You can purchase a monthly subscription for $9.99 or a yearly for around $60 which I assume will kill off the ad bombardment but too costly for a phone app in my opinion.

It does have a paid version, but its not cost effective, price is too high]]] Has great filters/effects which are amazing that can be adjusted. However this app has just too many disruptive ads which Kills it. It also shows ads while processing the effects, which is very slow at that.

I love art and this app enables me to convert pictures into art. There are quite a few styles available. I love playing with this app and def recommend as it's fun. There are adverts every time it converts your picture and every time you save but the app itself is free and after so many seconds you can close the adverts so I personally didn't find the adverts annoying. My only negative comment is that the finished product puts a label on it advertising the app which spoils the picture.

I like it has pretty cool effects/filters it would improve even a bad pix making it look interesting!! Just applay different filters to your photo until the desired look is achieved. Could take some time until one gets the final look but is worth it!!! I think.... Needs more options perhaps how to individually manipulate colors to create half tones or duo tones???

Nice filters. Ads Ads and Ads. Following points compelled me to give two points: 1. Filters do not have any adjustments or parameters. This limits the things you can do. 2. Can't run without internet connection only to load ads. 3. Too many ads 4. It behaves like asking for ransom. For example you want to remove watermark you must watch a long ad video. 5. No option for an ads-free, offline, paid version. 6. No easy exit like double tapping back button. You must click Exit on top of the ad.

Edit: used to love this app but it has just turned into a money grab. The amount of ads before was a bit silly but I kind of got used to it, you were previously able to remove the remove the app logo by watching an ad.. Now you have to pay a recurring subscription fee. a total p!ss take, I would gladly pay a one off fee to remove the ads, but for a filter app to charge so much is ridiculous. I think this is my third edit of this review and it has progressively dropped in Rating to 1 star

Well after taking the 3 day trial I found the app amazing, it creates great pictures with every colour imaginable. After the 3 day trial I thought I'd keep it. £18.99 for the year, great, thats not much to pay. First day I used it for my £18.99 and nothing works? I'll give a day to see if it starts to work, if not I'll come back with a review. Stay safe everyone & take care. Its fine, could have been my Internet, works great, love it, cool & amazing colours too. 👍

DO NOT INSTALL. Contains DISRUPTIVE ads. Developer WON"T return email to tell me how to remove disruptive ads. Even after UNINSTALLING this app there continues to be new windows with ADS, ADS, ADS, ADS all the time. I've had to shut down 2 pop up windows in the time it takes me to write this review. 3 now. NOT COOL. Apps gone, still getting ad windows. It's like a divorce, the legal part is over but the headaches continue.

great app for art users, anyone who posts selfies pictures or other forms of photography. not the best could be better. only a few to choose from. if you all put all your art apps together then one app would be great. ads are expected every time you press. un impressed about that and the fact you have to everytime you change the photo or re open app you have to watch an long as...ssss ad to unlock so your logo isnt on the picture when saving!!!

WAY too many ads, and was quite shocked to read permission to access all kinds of NON RELEVANT functions of my cell phone. Beautiful app too..I'd suggest a premium version without the very annoying and constant, time consuming ads, and rolling back the ridiculous and highly suspicious wide scope of phone function access and MODIFICATION of NON RELATED aspects of my personal data, network, including my phones ability to be in sleep mode? Pls fix! I'd happily pay "-) <3

I really love the results. Not at all crazy about having to watch an ad for every single movement. I am more than willing to pay for the app because I'm paying in my time anyway but I cannot find an option to purchase it. It also seems that the resolution is too low to be of any value. Again, I would be happy to purchase the app to be able to use it for artistic creations. I would use it more and reccomend it.

The app and results are great, but the forced ads are intolerable and prevent using it in any serious workflow. I would upgrade to a paid version in a heartbeat. As it is, I'm going to switch the moment there's a comparable app available.

Only just went to use it once and it wouldn't let you find the photo from your files. You were stuck having to search through all your photos which is hard to do when you have about 1000 photos. When you can look at the file you want it's easier. So I uninstalled it

Almost a year and a half after I left the review below, the developer responded by saying that ads were necessary to support their work. In the meantime, they have taken my advice and the advice of others and added IAP options to subscribe at $15/month or $55/year. This is not a $15/month or $55/lifetime app for most users. I fail to see how driving away users with either ads or outrageous subscription prices better supports the developer, though it obviously reduces the user support burden. I have reduced my rating from three stars to two stars and again uninstalled the app. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$ Some really nice features in between the ads ads ads ads ads ads. I looked for an IAP to remove ads. Nope. Not even a subscription. I looked for a premium version. Nope. So its just another reminder that if it says "includes ads" bit not "in-app purchases," and there is no pro/premium version, skip it. Most apps that are ads-only aren't worth bothering with. The ones like this one, that are worth paying for, make you sad as you uninstall something you'd really like to have. What a shame. Five stars for function. One star for obtrusive ads. Result = three stars. Maybe these folks should look into doing a "Google Play Pass" version.

Really fun app with some amazing artwork filters. There are a lot of ads, but who cares. They're short (5 -7 seconds). They allow you remove the watermark too if you have something you want to see in the pic. Really appreciate that...keep up the good work!!

This is a great app, I love the effects BUT an ad every other screen, and apparently no way to remove the large Art Filter decal on every processed image makes the app unusable for me. I would pay for a version of this app that eliminates these disadvantages, but have not found a pro/paid version.

Terrible UI. Starts directly in camera, which if I want to edit a photo I have to take an extra step to get there. Same clunky cut and paste format that all these bad "photo editors" have just with a bunch of marginal filters. Its nothing innovative, and its bogged down with ads to improve your mediocre photographic experience.

Not loving all the ads and upgrade requests immediately bombarding me but the effects seem pretty good so far I suppose. I can say I won't be spending any money on it tho so if everything I like requires payment, it'll be uninstalled very soon (I've already got a premium app with similar features, no need to pay for the same thing again).
