Art of War: Legions

Great game, but with not a lot of content yet. 1 star because of the notifications. First off they're labelled as "3", I don't know if it's a mistake or an attempt to make them harder to find in the settings.. But the notifications does not fit the Android guidelines at all. The font is insanely big, maybe in an attempt to make them more visible than the others notifications. There is also a huge image and background to the notification that does not being anything useful...

Yes... No... maybe... The game has a great idea nice FX (minor issue screen view is a bit small zoom out would be nice) Now the main problem is... and no it's not the adds... wow that's amazing huh? This game doesnt spam you with adds unless you want bonus! Which is okay i'm good with that. The problem is... WAY too easy... just click so your army fights then upgrade your army by buying new troops and repeat repeat repeat and thats it... never loss a single game... no strat after infinty ingame.

No strategy whatsoever. Just grow a bigger crowd through the collection of coins (which goes faster when you watch ads), until you need to collect heroes - something that the game will make very difficult unless you buy stuff with real money. Very repetitive game where each fight is limited to pressing "start" and just watch. Some missions reminded me of a more interactive battle but I installed and uninstalled about 6 hours later. Just saying. Reply: press start and just watch is not playing

Stealing money and wasting time, got a premium account that never got activated, CS makes it difficult to non nerd to provide proof of purchase. No strategy/tactics number and level of troops will prevail, not lost a game in random, bonus access double and triple in difficulty very quickly. A game last between 10 to 20 sec the adds last 30 sec, huge waste of time. Challenge mode you get trashed by lower ranking, fewer troops players without understanding... The pay for win game by excellence.

Great game all around. I've been playing for a year and a half and still enjoy for many reasons; easy enough to level up without paying money, tons of troops to choose from which keeps you on your strategy thinking, and developers are quick, in my opinion, to fix bugs/update/replace any lost/missed rewards. Cheers to the team behind this. Awesome job!

Concept is good. Both easy and challenging. Ads are mostly not a problem. You choose to watch them to get bonuses. And the bonuses are good. An option is to join clans to obtain extra rewards. You battle game armies and armies of other players....but you win or lose trophies....not any troops should you lose a battle. The game is easy to grasp but it does take time to upgrade your army. The better players have been playing for a year or more. But you won't battle them...not for a long time.

I enjoy the game. However I also was reeled in by and advertisement for a game that was not this game. I'm 2200 levels in and watch a commercial almost every time because it's needed for the funds to keep up. I would suggest more rewards, less levels. Also some of your power ups are very costly. I understand you need to make profit but maybe offer some better deals too

It's basically an auto play game where you do little to nothing, built for people with an attention span of 15 seconds. The bright colours and constant notifications are meant to make you want to click around and essentially you end up in front of micro transactions of "best deals ever" when you do. Made for kids. Not fun game, not a good game, don't waste time here.

THIS GAME IS AMAZING! Okay let me explain it has different modes and a lot and I mean ALOT of characters some people might say pay to win but I say differently it's really optional and I think free to play is better. Once you get later into the game it will be more challenging but with the card option at the right once you hit battle can allow you to randomly get a character card. The further you progress into the game means the more characters you can unlock. Also theres like no ads 10/10 game

I like this game but if you want to be competitive you best have $$ to waste. Once you want to make your characters level 9 it takes nearly a week to get the 2500 honor points to level 1 unit. In order to get your army to level 8 will take hours upon hours of watching 30 second commercials to aquire the needed gold. I will not recommend to anybody.

The game is fun at first, especially "expedition" mode. But after 6 chapters you are stuck playing the main game. No real strategy. Arena is a joke. Players that challenge you have twice the experience. It's a game with who has the highest level troops wins. I did spend money on this and deeply regret it. Do yourself a favor and don't spend money.

You know my first problem with this game is that the advertisements are lies. Second problem with the game is that once you get your characters to level 9 its darn near impossible to level them up. Its crazy how hard it is to level up. I enjoy the game, I've ben playing for a while and will continue to play...but they need to do better.

I'm not sure why companies trick people into playing their game with false advertisements but this is definitely one of them. Ads make it look fun and challenging, and then you play the game and it's like nothing in the ads, not even a little. This game is trash and not even worth downloading. Wish there was a way to get the time back I wasted on this game looking for the levels and content in the ads. What a bunch of jokers!!!

I've played this game a long time and it was fun and challenging, never have spent money and still built up level 9 troops, sub 15 heroes and reached level 8000. There was a programming change about 6-8 months ago that has made it nearly unplayable. When doing challenges against other players, it appears there are AI players now that are impossible to beat even though they're lesser in troop or hero strength. My back row of level 9 paladins go asleep to be destroyed now when they didn't b4.

I only want to play the expedition games and this thing makes me have to go through 200 levels of dumb fighting to unlock different chapters. And there's no way of skipping ahead. I refuse to play 200 lvls for another chapter. Edit: yes! That's exactly what I wanted! Highly recommended game. Fixed the rating!

Update: The developer corrected or attempted to correct my issue but not without a complicated process for $7. Lots of glitches with purchases and updates. Great game, but when I spend money and Art of War does not correct its own mistake the game is horrible. I sent several emails to get compensation and nothing happened? This is all over 80 midas spins which is maybe $7 according to their price point. What a joke and horrible customer service experience after I spent hundreds what a joke.

Lots of strategy involved this game...highly recommend to anyone that likes challenges. There are a few bugs which I'm sure are being worked on but 1 issue I keep having is game tells me I need to update to newest version...but i didnt see any updates in play store and after reinstalling I'm still getting the same message constantly...

I would rate this game higher but the Arena mode needs to be revamped bigtime.... Literally at low levels you are competing with players that rank much much higher than you and will get crushed unless you spend thousands of dollars upgrading your troops to even be able to somewhat compete.. The subscription is alright but dont fall in the habit of purchasing coins or "troop cards"

Constant game breaking updates. 5 hours ago the game worked fine. Now it demands an update to play when none are available. The Art of War Facebook page piling up with people like me that paid 4 dollars to play extra Arena rounds and locked out of the game. It's one thing to have a bug lock you out of a free game. Its quite another to be locked out of a part of the game you paid to play by a bug.

Very addictive game. Contrary to popular opionion you do not need to spend money to have fun with this game. There is a lot of subtlety in which troops to use and where to place them on the battle field. It isn't all about having the highest level troops if you know what you are doing (although that does help.) I have also met a lot of great people in the clans. They are always willing to share their insite on game stratagies.

Interesting game, fun and not a lot of pay to win. Getting the highest hero doesn't give an auto win; knowing troops is key to winning. Best in slot isn't really a thing. Log in, collect idle rewards, maybe do dailies, then when you've saved enough, get your troops and don't worry about rng. Highly recommend. Note, it takes over 100 cards for a level 15 hero or level 8 troop, so it's a long game, not something fast.

This game has been fun to play but as a late the game has been glitching. The coin multiplier has not been really working no matter if you're connected to WiFi or cellular data. Need to improve the glitches.

Advertisment for the game shows you can do formations, and strategy, no such thing in real game. Formations are non existing, tactics also. All comes down to is high level troops trough grinding. Easy and no brainer but i hate false advertisment in general

The ad is complete fiction, just plain made up lies. No option to reset and start over with new strategies. Fun game that I would like to start over but instead will just uninstall. Thus game needs an option to restart your progress WITHOUT setting up a new Google game account. Yeah, I'm gonna jump thru some hoops and log in to that special account for this 1 game...that's a stupid suggestion.

It's fun but gets repeatitive. I wish you could level up the hero you want but it's all by "chance" and I write that loosely because spinning the wheel, drawing cards or hero boxes, will never give you shards to update the hero you want. As a suggestion, I'd give more players control to level up the heroes they want. It eliminates the BS you go through and makes for a more fun experience battling others. I'd leave troops as they are.

Ultimate battle gaming for myself, by far !! 👍🏾😃 I'm totally intrigued and am daily looking forward to knew adventurous battles to face. There's always something new and exciting to engage in almost everytime I log in. A definite must download! I want to thank and congratulate the creators of 'Art of War' for a complete Victorious experience. Also the graphics and animations are on target 🎯! 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾💯

Great game. Great concept. But found some issues. Im unable to see the opponent's army in detail. We could see the icons from a top view but no feature to see the the troops in detail. Also better to include a 360 degree navigation system to view both the armies before war. Poor navigation capabilities during the war as well.

Very good and feels dynamic at the beginning. Although the interest dies like within an year, coz the room for improvement is less and the game becomes static with time.

This is the dumbest game ever. You press a button and your characters fight other characters. There is no skill and very little interaction. This is so dumb. The ad for the game interested me, but it's nothing like the first few levels. Don't bother downloading, it's a bait and switch of stupidity.
