ARTE360 is the mobile app from the European cultural network ARTE for immersive and interactive experiences in 360°-video and virtual reality. Imagine stepping inside a movie, being able to see the scenes unfold all around you as if you were there. Look around by simply moving the device or swiping. For total immersion the device can be switched into VR mode, and when inserted into a cardboard VR holder, your phone can be used as your own Virtual Reality headset. Very well made app! But unfortunately only on a visual level. The clicker doesn't work, so videos can't be started. Downloaded videos, but then shows "no content available at this time" Useless with these flaws. Otherwise best looking menus and interesting looking content

Anything I download is removed from the store with it saying "there are currently no videos to display" and won't play from the app, pointless

If I wanted to watch 360 videos I would look at YouTube what is this app useful for just because there are all here. Idc I wish you wouldn't use the word VR and just say 360 .

Its a good concept but it took about 10 tries to have the video play not upside down. But then I had turn to around because the focus was behind me. Stuff that would be easy to fix with a recenter function. Without that it's a pain.

VR mode is not working properly on my Galaxy S2, everything's doubled. It seems the app is not adjusting to different cardboard lenses and/or screen sizes...?

This is exactly the kind of non-gaming app that I'd hoped for. It's like being inside a documentary, absolutely brilliant and a must-have for Google Cardboard owners. This works on my Sony Xperia Z2.

The VR views and subtitles clearly visible in videos. At start videos really clear but after few seconds suddenly drop like 1080p to 144p. Mmy eyes hurt...
