This app worked fine for years. It just got updated and now it won't pass past "set up payment". I entered one card, and it still said "set up payment" after blinking once. Entered the same card again, and it said "card already in file", but it won't go any further. Had to pay at the station. What's the point then?
Very convenient. Was having dinner on the boardwalk and noticed on the app the meter time was running out. I was able to extend the time from my table! No getting up and running to put more money in!
Didn't work. Declined my card even though it worked fine at the regular pay terminal. Also the pay terminals charge twice what the app said. Thought I was going to pay one price quick and easy on my phone and ended up paying extra the ol fashioned way
As another reviewer pointed out, the app incorrectly rejected my card. You might be fooled into thinking the credit card company rejected it but visa tells me that the charge was never attempted.. It worked last year but, even after reinstalling, it failed. I was told to try ParkMobole and that worked.
Been using it for a while, no prob, but now tells me to update, I do so, try to open, and it say I need to update. Tried restarting app and phone both. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Still no good. Not near the car and worried about getting a ticket!
This app is so helpful. I love being able to pay for parking from my phone wherever I am. The convenience is great. It's easy to use and the reminders help as well! I also love that I can pay for parking all day so I don't need to worry about doing it every few hours! Great job, Asbury Park!
WARNING: This app requests a ton of sensitive permissions and because its built for a very old version of Android, it does NOT prompt you to accept them like most apps. Why does a parking app need access to every permission under sun? This app seriously needs permission to make phone calls and turn my Bluetooth on and off? I dont know why Google still allows apps like these. Also, notice how virtually every review is 5 stars? Very suspicious....
I downloaded it but says update needed. I click on update app and it goes back to my Google play app where the only option is to open right back to the updated needed page... ugh. Uninstalled and installed again, still won't work.
App updated from the store and now is inoperable. App says it's out of date and needs an update, but it is already up to date. Uninstalled, reinstalled, cleared Play Store cache, no fix. Broken!
DO NOT USE THIS APP. pay at the pay stations. If you have any issue with this app you will get no help as their customer service is abhorrent. Just pay at the station and don't waste your time with this, no matter how convenient it seems.
I purchased an all day parking pass (9am-2am) and I still received a parking ticket at 8:30pm. You follow the rules exactly as instructed and they still find a way to screw you.
Surprisingly easy, once I stopped grumbling about having to download an app. Convenient too...I was able to add time without leaving my seat.
good app, terrible policy in Asbury though. they make you pay for the spot. if you MOVE you have to pay again. should be lik the NYC munimeter, the time follows the car
I pooped my pants in the car and didn't want it to slide out my pant leg hole going to the meter, so I got this app to park and was able to pay to park and not get a ticket or have poop launch out my pants all over the street ij front of everyone. Then I realized poop would still slither out if I went to the restaraunt because I would still need to get ouy of the car, but I already paid for the parking. I ended up just sittong in my poop in the car for 2 1/2 hrs. It wasn't that bad.
The fact that I have to download their app is ridiculous. Now my credit card data is on some server which is at risk of leaking my data. Don't download this app
Very convenient. Was able to pay ahead of the session time after parking overnight. Love it.
App has not been working for the past 2weeks. Won't load on Android. Please fix it. Tx
Only let's you add a minimum of 1 hr (at the kiosk you can start at 10 min) asks for way too many unnecessary permissions.

once signed up very quick and easy to use.
Horrible! Went to a concert. Thought it'd be faster to sign up for the app to pay for parking. 1st attempt, waited over 20 minutes in the parking lot to sign up. It crashed. Had to reload it & wait another 10 minutes. Put all my personal & credit card info in & got to the end after adding my payment method. Started walking to venue while watching my phone, to see a confirmation if the transaction went through. App got hung up. It never completed. Passed by a kiosk. It took only 2 minutes to pay.
