ASCII Converter 2
Two-way ASCII encoding between text and hex, decimal, or binary.
Current version:
- Text <-> Hexadecimal
- Text <-> Decimal
- Text <-> Binary
Buttons provided for quick copy-and-pasting.
Menu Options:
- Hide/show GUI buttons
- Switch between two different hex button layouts
- Switch between stock number pad and a custom number pad
- Clear contents in ASCII text and encoding fields
Hex button layout A is an advanced layout; however, layout B is available for ease of use. There may be a future option for the user to arbitrarily customize it.
The stock number pad implements the dialpad layout. The custom number pad provides the layout popularized by PC keyboards.
Preferences are saved and used each time the app runs.
No ads and no fees as a way to thank Udacity for providing education to everyone at no cost.

Would work great if you could configure the keypad. Not sure if it was my phone but the number pad did not line up properly, and I would much prefer a standard input rather than having to get used to a new layout. There's no need to reinvent the wheel when it comes to UI/input.
I could not work out what this app does, whether it might do what I wanted or find any help or guidance whatsoever. All I want to do is to be able to generate special characters, beyond what is provided by the standard keyboard.
