Ash of Gods: Tactics

The art is fantastic and the factions are interesting and unique. The game play is part strategy part luck of the draw. Can slowly level up without paying. Would have happily thrown $5-10 at it as a thank you but there no real incentive to do that in the store as the monotinization is rather ludicrous with little reward. Pvp has glitched everytime I've won at the highest setting and not paid out rewards. Sometimes loads all 3 missions while the game is closed. Good but limited

This game's artwork is absolutely beautiful! The graphics and story are also pretty fine... I'd love to see this quality in a RPG, free movement game, it would be simply gorgeous. The gameplay is also pretty fun. The only downside for me is that you can't seem to erase the repeated cards you got? Nor even use them as material to upgrade the ones u use most? I really didn't see the point in having tons of repeated cards with time, you'll have no use for...

Really enjoy the game. The artwork, gameplay, the levelin is well balanced and continues to challenge you. The only reason it is not five stars is the freezing while loading. Over the course of one week, the game has stopped during a transition screen (load screen with two skeletons) every time I have played the game. I have to completely exit the program to reload. I was hoping the update would fix this problem but it has not. Sadly, I my remove the game because of this.

Very nice art, but I have some issues with the game. 1) The AI scales like crazy - stats are inflated and everything they have is way upgraded and it makes the battles feel unfair. 2) It's not pay-to-win, more like pay-to-not-suck. I spent $10 on a starter pack (not worth it) and I'm still getting trounced by the Frisian boss on normal difficulty. 3) Energy mechanics and locking things like new heroes behind paywalls does not make for a good experience.

Like it but having trouble loving it. Progress is pretty slow making the game a bit of a grind. The AI can have some crazy bonus stats that forces you to win via a race instead of out fignting them. This makes some factions weak to play if they aren't fast. The game desperately needs to allow you to manage multiple teams. I don't want to rebuild a team to test out some units.

Such an interestingly unique and artistic game. Involves a lot of strategy and RNG. Sure, the game isn't perfect (few bugs + lack of wiki or guide to certain game mechanics + the enescapable feeling that this game is "pay to win"), but I see a lot of potential. The developers should increase the number of missions for the campaign mode and add more narrative in the story because I still don't know what the game is about... Lastly, the game, after some campaign missions, is insanely difficult.

So much potential, so little to do. Nice looking game that I really want to like. Gameplay and mechanics are good, problem is it becomes way too hard way too fast. Missions become a nightmare in the first chapter due to the games over use of Frissians who have high hit points and damage your character every turn. So grind away and hope you draw characters strong enough to kill because you certainly won't level them the way the required exp grows exponentially. A few fixes and this game is a gem

I really the battles, it would be cool to see some environmental changes (longer or wider battle grid, areas that cause damage, lanes that don't go all the way to the enemy hero etc.) That being said I'm still really early in the game but the gameplay isn't locked behind a paywall which is a plus, and the art style is great.

The gameplay is original although a bit reparative and the graphics are great. That said the main downfall of this game is the difficulty of enemies scales up very fast while you very slowly acquire your builds bits and pieces. Without throwing money at the problem, fun quickly turns into a grindy reroll experience where everything has to go absolutely perfectly from turn one options for you to stand a chance of progressing.

This game has very pleasing, detailed animation for the characters that you don't see very often. Combat system is card based with a fair amount of challenge. My only complaint would be that it takes a decent amount of grinding to upgrade your cards above the first few levels (unless you open your wallet up).

Okay first of all, I absolutely love the gameplay. The graphic have some charm to it, too. I think you can improve in several areas, though. The first one is the ability to create multiple decks. I love my Eikon deck in PVP, but fighting the Enses in the story is challenging. I want to be able to change decks instead of modifying the existing one. I will specify other area of improvement later , as Google Play limits the letter count. I look forward to your updates. Good luck!

I love the art style and the character design, but that's about it. The writing is practically nonexistent, and when it's there, it's just childish. The game has an atrocious interface that needs to load for seconds just to switch to a different menu. There is no live PvP, and the "campaign" - a series of repetitive engagements - is a grindfest where you hit the paywall early and hard. Do not recommend.

It is an amazing game but it has 2 major problems: - in campaign mode the wining conditions are very hard for some levels. You need a very powerful deck even from mission 10. To have a good deck you need to replay some missions or play pvp witch brings me to second problem: - at times in pvp the game is freezing on the opponents turn. He does not end his turn so you can't advance. It may be games fault or the opponent not ending turn intentionally, so without a time counter you have to quit.

Gotta give it 3 stars at the moment, I've been playing for about 4-5 months now and at the beginning it was exciting. Characters were flowing in, art work incredible and game play interesting, problem is it went stale. Only two pages of missions and not even all factions to challenge, pvp would be better if it was real time. Going first every match makes this obvious. Look I'm not going anywhere because I believe this game has huge potential but really need to know future plans

I've been looking for an isometric SRPG for android for some time, but usually disappointed at what I found. AoG: Tactics has ticked all my boxes. I love the art style and combat system that allows you to use skill cards to bolster your fighters. From enjoying games like Fallout 1&2, Wasteland 1&2, Jean De Arc and The Banner Saga, I found this more addictive than the console version. You don't have to spend money to progress quicker, but it's an option. UPDATE: Please add true PVP.

This game is a diamond in the rough. I honestly think this would work better as a premium option rather than a free2play, add supported, pay to win game that there are thousands of already. The fights are a bit repetitive as you grind up enough experience and other needed materials to advance through the campaign. The story isn't bad and graphics are good, but loading time is a bit of a pain, even on my OnePlus 6T. I didn't suffer through connection errors or anything else negative.

Absolutely beautiful game. The artwork is stunning and the animation is smooth. I love tactic games, and this one does not disappoint. There are (so far) no interrupting ads, and though there are pay items in market, it is not necessary to spend money for game progression.

Great style, nice story. But, unfortunately, completely unbalanced heroes, strange PvP system with poor matching, no socialization (clans?), and limited economy make the game tiresome after a week. Do hope it is just the beginning, and things will improve later. But again, the visual style is absolutely astonishing!

Amazing game! I played the PC version and this is as good, maybe even better than it. Excellent stilized graphics. Very intuitive UI/UX design makes the game a joy to navigate. There is always something to do and progress in the game. It is not pay to play, you can earn everything just by playing. Kudos to the developers 👍👍

Unlike any mobile game I've played before. At least early on, the power levels are JUUUUST right to where you can still lose any game if you play poorly enough. And not having an "auto" button was genius! Obviously there's some cash grabbery in the form of IAPs but considering how amazing the game is, the animation (must of been TONS of work to get this hand drawn vibe), and that it's free, I don't mind too much. Plus it doesn't completely break the game like other games do. 10/10

Now this is amazing. Card based plus Tactical Turn strategic ONE of a kind beautiful Art. Beautiful music. The style of the Medieval Artwork And the fact it's not 3D models is great. The Mechanics and How the game works is exactly what i was looking for. If your into Card games like Majic, Gwent or Elder scrolls Legends, do yourself a favor and Download this. It's totally different but way better. I just wish they kept adding more Units and Support cards. I WOULD love that

A beautiful and challenging game. I was so impressed with the visuals, the sound, the animations! When i first started my 1st impression was great, i immediately wanted to show this game to other people. It is grindy but fair. You are not showered with cards but steadily grow stronger. It's very well made. The factions all play and feel diferent from each other. I love that it's challenging. I just wish pvp was vs real players. Other than that it's great. Keep making it better guys good job!!!

The game is unique. But here's bugging me out. There's a quest where you need to complete it but you completed it first before the quest arrive. Ex. Claim free gift from shop etc. The quest still on and can't be change and stucked it that quest.

Very 'tactics light' game and very basic. Not !uch control over your characters, just level up, and RNG card draw. Easy to tell you will hit a P2W wall after the first few stages. Graphics are nice, but not enough substance to keep me playing it. Didn't feel drawn to the characters since they lacked depth.

Rewriting my review, pnce i turned the music and sound off it no longer crashed randomly, it does every once in a while but not as much. I give it two stars mostly due to the pay to win aspect of the game. The ratio on amount of coins that are made off of each battle is pathetic. The chests all have random exp cards with hardly any coin. Once you start upgrading cards, you need more and more coins to do it. Absolutely love this game, mechanics are well done, gameplay is satisfying and engaging But sadly the game is just unplayable with the amount of freezing and restarts that happen, I am even encountering a bug that causes my game to freeze and then completely shut off my phone. Am sad to say that I cannot play this game any longer.... Please fix bugs as this could be a 5 star game....

Love the game itself, but it crashes, for me anyway, every other time I fight. It just takes me right back to my main screen. I will uninstall and try it again. It's a great game in general
