Currently this is a 1 star app that I would not rely on for any real world issue. For the past year it has not worked, regardless of updates but I had hope that after this latest update it would work as it was meant to. After following instructions for the update, it wouldn't allow me to enter text into required fields to reregister my device. Developer contacted, we'll see how it goes.
I have used this app for a year or so with no problem. Then when I needed to verify my email address then the program stopped working. Wouldn't let me verify email address and so forth. I have uninstalled & reinstalled the program 4x. Each time to no availability. It is a decent program if it works properly.
WILL NOT DEPEND ON THIS FOR EMERGENCY!!! What an awesome app when it started, now they are mismanaged and full of sloppy fixes. I dont log into this all the time and because of it I lost my account, use another email, use a different railroad to register. These are not fixes that work, I have wasted time trying and I'm done.
I had an issue with the app not working as it should. I contacted the support & received a quick response and addressing of the matter from the support team. The issue was fixed in a short time & the support staff stayed in contact with me during the process.
This is a very handy, very useful tool for the emergency responder. Have not had to use for an actual incident yet, but have practiced with it regularly. Works like a champ every time. Ability to access train consist is a very helpful feature.
UPDATE INFO. **FOR ALL YOU WHO CANNOT FILL REQUIRED FIELDS** You have to go into settings and clear your data and Cache for this application. Then reopen and BAM! It works!! Then after you confirm email, go back into registration tab. Everything should be prefilled. Then re-agree to two statements at bottom, hit submit, and BAM! Full access once again!
Trying to update the app. Each time I try, it goes through a sign on process to insure that it's me. I have Version 4.1.6 and am trying to update to 4.2. I tap the box with okay and nothing happens. What am I missing? Update: still can not update my installed version to the new one. Need a bit of help here please!
I'm a career firefighter that has 3 different rail lines and 2 rail yards in my venue I have never been accepted to use this app. My first try I was rejected 2nd try status pending and it's been months...
This used to be a great app. Now I follow your directions to update and it will not allow me to fill in some of the required fields. Very aggravated 😒

The app worked great so I get a email to update now I can't fill out the application for the registration very frustrating
Severely slow, even on the sample car they have. Whats the point on even having the app?
Kept threatening to remove me and finally did remove me despite doing multiple verifications. Not sure it is worth trying to again get authorization.
After taking so long to get authorization to use the app I reached out to them and they took care of it and within days I gained authorization to use it

Hazmat tech 25+ years and this app provides wealth of needed info in emergency.

A new version was released in mid-August, and it had some critical bugs that made it not work on some Android devises. An update was released in late August whick corrected the bugs. This app should be on the phone or tablet of every 1st responder who has a railroad in their area. The railcar identifier is indispensible in an emergency. This is one of 5 "essential" HazMat apps I tell students to download (the others are the ERG, HazMat Evac, WISER, & CAMEO Chemicals). HazMat responder & regional HazMat instructor.
This works great. Very easy to use and look up info I might need while working an incident.
Current version working just fine on my Pixel (unlocked, on project fi, with all OS and security updates)
Thanks for fixing the blank white screen error from the previous update. Functionality seems to have been restored. Good job!

Have had this app for response reference with the FD and HazMat Team. Since the update I can't do anything with it. Uninstaller and reinstalled and now soooo many hoops to re-verify and re-register. Cant fill in half the areas to register. What a mess. Once they get it figured out I may reinstall. Good Info if you can get it to work. The problem I am having is registering again. It won't accept info or let me edit fields. I have already been verified when I used it before.
