ASL: Sign Language Dictionary

It teaches you really well and I like the set up. But I think it's kinda of redundant where you have to get the upgraded version (which I'm pretty sure costs money) in order to learn the emergency signs. (And other sign). And then they call the app free?? Other wise pretty good.

Its an okay app but i would not recommend to ANYBODY! The videos are way too fast and blurry and even when you "slow" them down, they are even more blurry. Theres no explaination for the signs, the actor just shows them a few times and thats it. I had to keep replaying and replaying over and over again cause how bad this whole thing in general was. Also, WAAAYY too many ads. Every time you back out of a sign 30 seconds of clicking onto it, youre hit with an ad. Every.Single.Time. not free either

This really helped me connect with my Arabic friend with disability! Yaaay me. Had such a nice time. I just bought the whole thing! Sure is easy. The motion is a bit quick. Do you think you can add a slow motion button? I downloaded another app that did have it but the vocabulary was not convenient and too many adds. Your app is pretty quick none the less. Good Job guys!

When I 1st got this app I thought it was great. Then they put out an update a few weeks later...locking most of the functions making you have to purchase them in order to use them. I think that is wrong. When I got the app, they were all available. So they should still be that way! Ridiculous!!!! I would rate them 0 stars if I could!

I like it.. Its just wayyy too many ads like every 5 times i look at a sign. The ads are super annoying... ok i just updated this and i don't like it i loved it when it didnt play an AD EVERY SINGLE TIME!!! upsetting i want the older version back.

Nice interface, decent vocabulary size. The "Emergency and Disaster" words are behind a paywall. Now don't get me wrong, I understand you gotta make that money, but seems to me like that's the one category that should absolutely be free. If they did that and put, I dunno, "Sports" behind the paywall instead, I'd reevaluate.

Doesn't take up much storage space, but they design and colors are painful to look at (literally). It's also extreamly difficult to use for a slow learner.

Vert neat app. Great for learning. I especially like that the speed of the video can be slowed. I am still using the free version and look to soon purchase the full version.

I work with a gentleman with special needs who is deaf. He's much better at signing than i am. So i find myself using this app a lot. Its helpful to have things categorized and the search function is nice, but if things were alphabetized that'd be hugely helpful. Also more words. Columbus day but not Thanksgiving? Christmas tree but not Christmas? I extrapolate Christmas, but i have no way to determine if Thanksgiving is a combination of "thanks" and "giving" out something else entirely.

It's a beautiful sleek designed sign leaning mobile app. Everything is really in order. Exploring all the categories one by one. I hope they add bookmark option too. Overall 10/10.

Videos are way too small. Fills only half the screen, and signer stands to one side. Good selection of signs and speed control.

Having an ASL dictionary seems like a great idea. I'm rating this only one star because the most important signs that anyone getting this app should be looking to know are: the emergency and medical one's. EVERYONE should have access to these. But y'all have decided profits are more important than helping your fellow human beings.. unless you pay. Bullsh*t, in my opinion.

I really like the app and I paid for it but it's missing some of the months. I work with someone that's deaf and sho I'm trying to teach myself asl. Please fix FYI the list you say is free isn't so that's one of the reasons I paid for it

Pretty good app for ASL reference, but I found that there are some signs I would think are important, but they are not included. (Email, show, etc...)

This app is wonderful. Super useful and friendly. Happy with the content thus far. The short clips help visualize.

Almost everything was locked there are too many ads and if someone needs to learn something about disasters or something I feel like you should just unlock all of it and nobody should have to pay for anything

You app has some big gaps in the information it offers, for example; you missed almost half a year worth of months, as well as several other things.

Really fun way to learn common words and pharases in American sign language. Love that I can slow it down to see the hand motions. And first Free app for ASL with that much content. What is not to love for?

This app is amazing! I would strongly recomand this app If you are trying to learn ASL. They give varity of things to learn American sign language.

just wasn't feeling it.... the videos are extremely short and it's just not anything I'm looking for in learning.

some signs are to fast and no way to slow down app should remember this is for learning should do slow motion then normal speed

I really love this app now I dont have to use my phone to have a conversation with a deaf person I like to have a face to face conversation .

I NEVER got to use it; it wouldn't open...so, I uninstalled it! ..if I can't use it, it's just taking up space, and I don't need that!
