ASmart Remote IR

I have tried many of the free/ads remote control apps offered here at the Play Store and the ASmart Remote IR far exceeds my needs. The ads run in a banner along the bottom of the screen and I find that to be easily dealt with. I have five TV's, one DVR, and one air conditioner. All devices are controlled to my satisfaction. Others may find shortcomings with respect to a particular function or menu item, but over all, I found ASmart's app to be a very simple and easy to use! Samsung SM-T237P

Fakest app to exist in the entire Google playstore universe. I got right up close to my Samsung TV (we don't have wifi) and supposedly this is supposed to blast IR to the TV (huge lie) yet the power, channel buttons, or powers etc...did nothing on all options.

Worked perfect for my 2 TVs was intuitive and quick to setup. It didn't work intially but it turned out my phone case was covering the IR blaster, so make sure to check your phone case.

This was the best TV remote app I found and have used it with my LG V20 phone on multiple TVs and satellite/cable systems but it has recently stopped working. It no longer works on any of the several TVs or satellite/cable boxes that I had loaded. I even tried uninstalling and reinstalling it but that did not fix the problem. I have since unistalled it and installed another universal TV remote app.

Works with S4mini and S5mini. Stopped working with S6 about a year ago. There is no beam at all - checked using another mobile cam. Other remotes work still ok. Sorry, have to lower the rating, as this was not clearly explained why S6 was dropped. / So there are no plans to make this work on Android 7?

Garbage! Don't even bother I tried the app both on the WI fi network and off. My Sony Blu-Ray player is 5 years old and the app will not operate it. Waste of time & memory.

Bullcrap app, the description says that it can control ANY ELECTRONIC DEVICES however in reality only specific brands! I tried to use it in hoping that it can controlled my not so well known brand Air conditioner(Fujiaire) using my smartphone that have IR blaster.

Good remote. Works well but pls update the app with GROUP or SATELLITE button as in Strong remotes for Strong STB. The GROUP Button makes it easier to choose a channel list group by pressing the GROUP button. Pls update and get 5 Star from me. Thanks

Can't believe it worked..finally , the app store is filled with garbage apps that claim to do the same thing, only filled with ads and don't work. Kudos for the honest work.

I can set up my TV but when i try to press the power button or anything else it dosent work. I have done this for my DVD player as well. And it did not work

I wish this app had a generic remote. I wanted to control a ceiling fan but there was no selection. It looks like a nice remote though

Is great IR application I have been using this application for years starting with my Samsung S5, but now with latest update it stopped working I'm my Mate 10. I reconfigure all my remoates but still not functioning.

They unfortunately did not support my Sony Blu-ray Player's IR blaster and so I will not be able to use the app. Too bad. Uninstalled.

Would give a negative if possible...uninstalled and reinstalled. My phone is not the problem-YOU ARE and yes I have infrared on my phone. The phone works and you DON'T. GET LESS WORSE -1000

best remote app, ads are minimal are not obnoxious like other apps best damn app i have used. would highly recommend works on just about everything.

100% trash. The The second you hit any button Ad. You try and close the ad guess other ad.. This ap should be renamed Ad watching simulator

I've Hated All the IRremote-apps that I've tried, including PEEL... this one just makes dealing with all my remote devices that much easier. thanks guys!

working fine in all my devices. expect 1 sharp ac. please add more sharp older model. anyway it must be hard being hated. by stupid kid who think this app can work on any device. just follow me advice DONT DOWNLOAD OR RATE BAD IF IT NOT WORK FOR YOU. Hi this was my favorite IR remote app but after the last update it stopped working. Tried on Samsung Galaxy S6 and Redmi 5 Plus. Update seems to have broken app.

13 Sanyo remotes. Not one works. Several Bose remotes. Not one works. Completely useless.

After updating everything is deleted when reinstall it is not working at all , removed . Pls let me know if anything can be suggested...not happy this time.

i love it. it is easy to use and works for tv's and dvd's. I've tried others and this has become my go-to now. highly recommend it.

This app doesn't work for my soundesign stereo. I got it from my grandfather and hated to get rid of it cause remote stopped working. Please help

It stopped working. I thought it was my phone but other apps work fine with the infrared.

Used to be the best IR remote until a recent update. None of the remotes worked afterwards

Love it on my note 4 for Varsity projectors without remotes and changing the channels on my TV when I can't find the remote

1-doesn't save for every time, when you're working it, it starts every time cold mode 2- service LG models don't have heat mode and fan mode

The app didn't work or I guess I didn't know what I was doing probably didn't have the right smart TV

So you're just not going to fix it? Was a great app but it stopped working. Discontinue or pull the app, tell us something.
