The AsteraApp™ offers intuitive and fast control of complex lighting setups with fully customizable programs and effects. The App is also used to prepare Astera lights for wireless DMX by sending addresses and footprints to them. In addition, lamps can be diagnosed, updated or reset from the AsteraApp™.
- Programs Create complex programs out of colors, effects and settings. The lights will remember and repeat these effects without requiring a constant wireless link.
- Targets Quickly create groups of lights, assign positions and select which lights should receive commands.
- Talkback+ Detect all available lights, set them up, check their status, configure DMX addresses and DMX presets.
- Seamless Runtime Set the length of your event and be sure that your lights won’t run out while still getting the maximum brightness.
- DJ features Auto BPM analyzes the beat and matches programs to it, Flash buttons can trigger special effects while being held down.
- Theft Alarm With built-in sensors the lights give visual and audio alarm and send notification to the AsteraApp™ if they are being moved during an event.
- Scheduled Standby Send lights into power-saving standby and schedule them to wake up and sleep at certain times.
- Anti-flicker Avoid flickering in recorded videos by adjusting the PWM frequency of the lights.

Good app. Very intuitive settings. No need to mess with any features or settings you are not using, simply plug and play. Could do with sending android notifications to Android 8 spec for tubes low battery for example. Then i could treat these notifications however i want through android 8, even send them to a wearable. would be a nice touch!
Good app. Dmx config takes some time. For larger installations there should be a "clone light" function, so settings/ groups/dmx can be transfered from lights that need to be charged. forgot another feature wish: save 'cues' that can be triggered via osc or artnet. thanks

I can't say enough about these lights and the app. What a great product and company. The app is super stable and has never given me any issues.

Pairing transmitter won't work on any of our devices. We are typing the correct pin
I love the new update. I use a tablet and the screen is largest enough to make the icons smaller to fit more on a screen. Im note sure sure this is the platform for feature requests.
Works great on my Moto X (2014). Won't connect to the art7 with my Pixel.
Simply the best wireless lighting in the industry in this category.
Love Astera Products only thing missing from this app would be ir blaster option for phones that have it to allow the user to "push" settings to fixture without the need for a credit card remote or directly pushing enter on the fixture.
Amazing features and fast response rates.
There are more and more apps to control the color of LED lights but this one seems to have much more features: - you can create sets of lights and control all lights of one kind - you can customize preinstalled effects - you have a large amount of settings The app is powerful but the navigation is easy and i don't get lost with all the features. I hope they will add even more features in the future.
I love how I can control all lights per model or create a set of lights.. That way I can control both the background lights and the lights on the dancefloor separately. All this works without having to set DMX addresses on each of my fixtures which makes the setup into a breeze ! I LOVE THAT
Was working absolutely fine until this week. I can't get lights to sync at all. I have restarted all systems and uninstalled & reinstalled the app with no joy. I am on Android Samsung Note 9. I have switched to my bosses phone, iPhone 8 and as soon as I connected to the same Art7-U it immediately started updating the art7. this however still did not allow the units to connect to the art 7 or the app and I can not control them. This is making it really difficult to use them now.
