Pretty good so far very informative and I like the space weather alerts. I'd recommend anyone looking for a all around space info app to give it a try. *EDIT* been little over a year now, no significant issues and everything is still functioning great.
Very informative app. I love identifying stars and constellations. I like knowing when solar flares are occurring! Which is often. I like the fact that they show real time data along with past and present. Ita very comprehensive.
I switched to a Galaxy Note 9 and cannot do a screen capture with this app. I used to do screen captures on my old phone. I am not sure if switching phone caused the problem or if recent app changes took away ability to screen capture the app data. I think this app is useful and provides timely notifications.
Simple but by far the best near earth object watcher, not just for Earth, but all the rocky planet. Set it forward in time or backward and watch them go, adjust the time per frame. They thought of everything, including the all important 3d nature and must have plane of the ecliptic. Get it, its a mesmerizing thing to watch these crazy rocky fastballs come flying by us.
Is a fact, we will advance to include a clean up effort to promote safety in our solar system. we have no expiriance and this means we will screw up. There are priority issues with some that must be pushed, and best is timing a push with least energy efficiency and solid plan. I love this app. learning navigate it. Rulls of asteroid management must be devised. avoid collisions, know the new course, may set objects to a zero inertia state to dock them and secure combined, no wrecking.
love the app, except I seem to have limited use, can't change to other tabs, the "X" button don't even work. not sure what the issue is but from the reviews looks like I may be the only one having this issue. I am using samsung note 20 ultra with android 10. never mind I found the issue, it was another app interfering, a notification bar mod app. working fine after disabling the other app.
it's pretty good. however I think it should be an earth focused app and ignore the other planets. also a few times a Comet to has caught us by surprise, however asteroid alert didn't pick this up. the solar e vents should also be in more real time and seem to stop with no future projections oh, I wonder if that is just the nature of solar forecasting?
Once Upon a Time...I was an IT Analyst for a moderately sized city in S. Florida. People from various departments would call me tosay they just bought some new software and they can't figure it out. That's were I came in. Flash forward to today and, I just can't figure this thing out. It gives me a nice alert that asteroid so and so is x meters in size and y lunar orbits from the Earth, but that's the most I get from it. The graphics are very nice, but I just can't make hide nor hare of it
Really like all the features. It's a bit easy to lose your object as you move around in the orbit viewer. Could use a calendar style list of objects. I highly recommend this. It's the best one I've found!
I've had this app for a few years now. It's a very valuable app for those interested in space safety and staying informed about more than just asteroids. Ignore the reviews of people saying this app isn't user friendly. Read the easy to understand, short manual provided if you get stuck. Common sense.
A good app that shows near passing of the earth, the 3d movements of the plain and magnification, is very good for visual accuracy. I use this with others to cross match orbital paths, to better understand them. Thanks.
Well, once again you have lost. I'm tired of opening the app just to find it on some other than earth. No response from publisher even after I went to their site to contact them. Not worth the problems creeping up once again. Addendum. Don't use this app unless you just like frustration and being totally ignored by the developer.
Just watching Demos and Phobos rotate is awesome, since one is retrograde. Asteroids can be color coded by size speed and distance, also run to calculate closest approach: speed interval adjustable; foward and reverse extrapolation
Asteroid alert it's a pretty great app works good on my Galaxy S5 I only have one complain it needs to be more 3D graphics are fine but 2D but it's always nice to know something's coming our way " heads up ". It took me and some friends about a week how to learn to use the button the controls
"This is a Wonderful app. I am new and there is do much to learn from the instructions. So much work went into this and I am amazed by the Scholarship that has gone into this. Thank you for expanding my vision and my Universe. THE adventure Continues."
The alerts are amazing! Absolutely Amazìng that I jump out of bed just to check it out! Hey you never know. But what a freakin awesome app! Pls keep it up and Thank You! Connect with the ISS app and your in! 2 best apps ever! I love the amount of radiation you can see from the sun too! Everything is so detailed and so informative. Can't say thanks enough! O and the Protons alert from solar flairs was freakin cool! Me and my friend had phone issues for 2 days. Then I told them I had a solar alert!
Frustrated that notification sound is absurdly too loud!! Can't edit or lower, and this is while my other apps and system sound are already set to a low volume. No idea why this always "breaks through"
This is an absolutely perfect map if your astronomy buff loving or even a beginner.... You truly get the sense of how crowded the solar system truly is.. and how lucky we are .. it's truly like a giant target range and earth is the bull's-eye and an asteroid away from complete obliteration of all life as we know it. We truly need to get our heads dislodged from our" yeah " and figure some way to keep that from happening ... I say magnetics but who am I to alter the future?
Experience out of this world... Pun. Excellent job and consideration for the position of a neo . Very well done. Exceptional service and trajectories. Implications of great study in Astro physics and travel. Thank you very much for your time and consideration in this matter.... Keep looking up...
Best app for asteriod watch I could find although it's a bit difficult to navigate if your not skilled and educated in astrology. I'm sure it will get better and easier with time.
I really like this! I don't understand it very well, being a non astroperson, but I think its cool👍🏻. 4 stars is only because it's not easy for me, a layperson, to understand, nobsimple clear instructions. Also when it says, " click on green dot" it doesn't seem to do anything. I am recommending ot to aome friends:)
Very cool app...but for us laymans I could not figure it out. There was no instructions. And the ones they did give for the planets were not up to date. They were completely wrong and did not match up with the screen. I will def try this app again if i could figure out how to use it. Just a thought for people who are interested in this kind of stuff but dont know the technical parts.
