Astiga - Your online cloud music player

Play your own music, directly from the cloud.

Astiga is a music streaming service for your own music. Easily play back the music that is stored on your cloud service, directly in your browser or on your phone. Whether you are at work or on holiday, your own music collection always travels with you.

Astiga supports a plethora of cloud storage services, including Google Drive, OneDrive (for Business), Dropbox, MEGA, Amazon S3, Backblaze B2, FTP(S), WebDAV (like ownCloud, Yandex, Synology) and SFTP. If it exists, it is probably supported.

Astiga has full library support; generate your music library, allowing you to easily access your albums, artists and genres. Searching is supported as well.

You can mix playlists; no need to restrict yourself to one cloud provider; you can easily mix audio from multiple sources and save them to playlists.

24-bit FLAC? No problem; Astiga does not restrict quality or quantity.

Works perfectly for me. Allows me browse and play a large number of personal mp3 filles stored on my Google Drive. I don't have any playlists, just play from browsing directories directly. Surprisingly trouble free. The opening up of directories on Google Drive could be faster, but not sure where the inertia is. This is a minor gripe. Luckily I found this app... as not much else out there that does what I was looking for... and it is free if don't and free from advertising... remarkably

Great, works well even with unfeasibly large music collections, premium is fairly priced, top banana!

Been using this for a few years and absolutely love it. I use it more than any other music app incvluding Spotify, etc. I can't understand why anyone would give it less than five stars unless they just don't understand it's purpose. It is not an alternative to Spotify. It is for playing your own music collection via cloud storage such as Dropbox or pCloud. If you understand that and have a sizeable music collection then Astiga is mouthwateringly good.

I am really happy to have found a nice google play music replacement that isn't limited by subscription. But: The UI looks ugly and outdated. Everything is too big and it just doesn't appeal to my eyes at all. The library lacks customization. There's so many unnecessary options. I play my music through recently added in songs category so everytime i have to scroll down a bit. Make it so I can choose what to show and what not to show. Last one, I would love to see a 1x1 shuffle all widget!

This app is amazing and I would love to give it a five-star review, but it has a very glaring bug that makes playing a very frustrating experience. Whenever I pause the music, whether using Bluetooth or the app directly, the player in the notification bar just disappears and I have to go back into the app to continue my music. It makes playing very frustrating, and it happens on every single one of my devices where I have installed.

I was losing GP Music but I can't stand YT Music. I'm happy w/Astiga. It's great that it has a browser version & it works well with cloud storage. It gives me almost everything I want: lockscreen play, background play, playlists, easy upload synchronization, and songs can be organized by artist or album. I just can't organize songs alphabetically or maybe I just haven't figured that part out yet. Otherwise, it's a great free alternative to GP Music.

I think some of the reviews on here are massively unfair. Many of the 1* reviews misunderstand the purpose of the app: it is for playing your own music that is uploaded to the cloud, not a streaming service! I think Astiga does an excellent job of its purpose. It has an excellent web player. The developer is very responsive in the forums. Although the UI may not be the most 2020, I don't feel it looks particularly outdated and the functionality is excellent. Keep improving Koen!

Fast and intuitive access to your cloud music. I’m a fan. It feels like I’m using a native player for music on a microSD card. I’d love the ability to download album art and to display & download lyrics. 4 stars for current functionality +1 for being the only app in its class +1 star for being actively developed and quickly fixing bugs -1 star for requiring access to all folders on OneDrive rather than supporting App Folders. But given the variety of cloud providers, this isn’t a huge deal.

Using this app to replace Google Play Music which is soon to disappear. It's ideal if you just want to play your own music which you keep on a cloud hard drive like Google Drive. It works well using the website with my Windows 7 laptop where you can also set up play lists. The app on my Sony Xperia smart phone also connects to my Sony Smartwatch 3 so that I can fully control playback using the Smartwatch - very handy if listening over headphones on the train. Also works with Google Home Hub.

Excellent, reliable, and feature rich - this app is the ideal platform for music streaming YOUR OWN MUSIC particularly on lower end devices. The Android Auto integration is a major convenience as well. Overall, a great design. The only improvement might be default UI elements. I intend to subscribe to the pro version to help support the dev!

A great alternative to Google Play Music having been forced to seek out a replacement with GPM shutting down. Gives me all the features I need with the added flexibility of using which ever cloud storage service I want. The privacy and environmental benefits are the icing on the cake. Great stuff 🏅

Working like a charm!! Exactly what I was looking for after trying many apps... Lossless streaming my music library easily from my ftp/cloud services/etc with no aditional cost. Equalizer and casting included. Minor improvement needed on design and usability details but it is quite promising, keep up the great work!

I had high hopes for this. The biggest issue is it takes forever to start playing songs, even on wifi. The idea behind the service itself is solid though. If the streaming issues could be solved I'd probably give it another try.

awesome app; i'm using since my SD card crapped out and my phone's storage is loow. works well! one problem is that it doesn't load song tags on mobile (via *.mp3 metadata) but maybe that's just me. // edit: yea it was just me. fixed and all. i don't have any other problems with this and i'm probably going to be using it for a while now! great app!

The play list only plays one song then stops, the gesture to forward and reverse works sometimes, i was trying it out before i make a purchase but it's not really working for me, i might have to delete this app, i was really looking forward to using this app, since the YouTube music app is hot garbage

Excellent Interface. I will give 5* and even pay a premium if it gives ALAC file format support. {Update 6/10/2019} The developer is amazingly responsive and fixed the issue with playing from shared folders on MEGA cloud drive. Actually this player is awesome as i use this for past one week. Major positives: > Multiple Mega cloud drives can be added into library > supports ALAC/ even 24-bit ALAC > Possible to create a playlist which contains music from multiple MEGA cloud accounts

Thank you for this app! I have been trying to find an app that didn't require a subscription for integration with my OneDrive account. OneDrive integration and creating playlists was easy.

If you are a OneDrive user coming from the Groove Music Onedrive streaming. Beware that WMA format is not supported especially WMA Pro encoding. Cloud Player Pro so far is your only option and even this service has issues but at least it supports it.

Excellent! Finally a cloud music app where syncing actually works (but it takes some time). A function to automatically search and import missing art work would make it perfect.

Pretty great app. Works as intended, the app has a few bugs in music player UI. Other than that, it's all okay and much more better than the ones similar for android. Giving 5 stars, Because it deserves it.

Eva. A. Jan 18, 2021

I have tried all of the top GPM alternatives. Astiga is objectively the best for those that self-host their music. The app is more fully featured than any competitor and Koehn is actively developing it still. Plus, the web portal is nice too (many don't even have one). Please support this app financially! It is being improved every day!

if you have multiple cloud storage accounts for your music library this app is perfect to tie them all in together . Android 9 startup issues fixed with the latest update
