Getting worse with tons of ads and survey pop up. Headline news also tend to be misleading. In fact sometimes even the ads content is actually promoting a musician from Israel. Now it's all about dollars and cents. No more integrity and a pure journalism spirit.

Okay first, advertisement placements are too aggressive. Unskippable 15-30 seconds video ads? A skippable video ads would be fine, at least. Even better, just ad banners in the article. I understand news have to make revenues, but at least make it friendly with the consumers. Second, this app need a bit of a revamp in terms of UI and UX. I find the app a bit hard to navigate and messy, also there's a bit of a lag in response whenever I'm opening and using the app. Otherwise, the app is great!

Is something wrong with this app this past week? It had been working fine and there's no update last week. Now when I open the app, it's just stuck at the "Salam Aidil Fitri" greeting screen while it tries forever to load something else. Back button doesn't work either; the onky way to exit is to click on phone menu button. Update 23 June: Uninstalled/reinstalled and still stuck at opening screen only. Receiving notifications but can't read them since the app can't load properly. Thumbs down.

Notification of this app is very poor. If u want to notify key points pls dont limit to 2 lines only. And the rest of the sentence ends with a "...". Even worst, when click in to the notification to open up the news, it leads to the homepage. No point if it doesn't direct to the particular news page. If Notification is based on a live stream news, linking it to the live stream is pointless as the part of the news passed already. Maybe you'd want to display which minute so ppl can refer back.

The news notifications and articles made by Astro Awani, all accessible inside the app, are great. What's not great are that notifications get cut off because it only has one line for text, and that news articles are taken directly from the website, ads and all, and since I can't block ads in there, they tend to get so intrusive they force the app to close.

please reduce the ads . its was to much and too anoying. Astro is a big company, still needed a lot of anoying ads in your apps ?

Been using it for years now, generally I appreciate Awani and their news reports and editorials, but the app is just bad, now it's even worse since can't load articles at all when not clicked from notification, on top of the compulsory sound-enabled long ads we have to sit through everytime we click on an article. Useless.

Too many ads. Duration of the ads is long too. Yes, you can put ads, but not in the annoying way. Launch the apps, and there you go, 15-30 second of ads without posibility to skip or ignore it. Gila apa? Other apps have ads too. But they manage to put it in a proper and peacefull way. "Berita Segenap Dimensi", you should change it as "Berita Segenap Iklan".

Intrusive ads. It was the most terrible and frustrating experience I've ever had from any apps I've ever downloaded from Google Play Store. If I could give 0 stars, I would. Terrible all around.

New update is absolutely fabulous! Interface is straightforward, simple & most importantly, uncluttered (Just the way news should be delivered!). I also like how the app works smoothly on my rather old phone, where some other apps struggled. Keep the good stuff coming! 😉

I have been using awani app for my first source of primary news for years now. But, in these recent days, I cant open any news to read at all. All I manage to read is the title as well only able to see the picture, and if i click the news i want to read, it would either show an advertisement or would loading FOREVER! Everytime new notification emerge, i can't proceed to read as it should be. THIS IS So FRUSTRATING!! Fix it please. Even your update did not fix this problem. Im using Samsung A50.

Unoptimized app and problems with ads. When notification of a news appear, upon tapping instead of going to the news the app will just launch and the news is lost and nowhere to be found. Ads sometime are unskippable and show inappropriate visuals. Imagine being a news app and kids are allowed to open and install the app, these unseemly advertisement could be unsuitable for children.

The apps provides latest news and update. However the browsing experience is far from satisfactory as the news keep halting and need to be rebooted if it can be reboot. This is something apps developer should seriously look into otherwise you will be losing your viewer and consequently your advertisers

Please fix the app freezing issue instantly. I dont know for sure but i believe your ads is causing this - when it failed to load, it freezes the whole app. The only way to make the app functioning again is to close and reopen app.

Used to be 5 star but downgraded to 1 due to latest update that launched advertisement when the app start. Understand that u need to put advertisement to make some money to run the operations. But please, the same recurring Olymptrade advertisement and at the very start is really really really annoying. Instead of generating money it would be a deterrent to use the app. Now i have 2nd thought whenever i want to start the app.

The apps is great. The podcast option was also good. Because sometimes. I can hear the news while doing work. The notification also allows me to get fast updates on the news.

I removed this app. The starting advertisement is too long with music. I hv downloaded many news apps, to me, this app is the most unprofessionally done and annoying by placing long advertisement with music at the starting. It kills my mood to read its news... so I removed it.

good app, but for the love of all things good, can you please turn off the "next video" part when im watching a video on the app. i want to watch the video NOT having the next video takes away 60% of the screen and 40% of the video length. very2 annoying.

Ads are getting way too intrusive .. good news app otherwise

Why the long ads? You can put ads but not too long and not being annoying. Now most of the time when certain news is clicked, it won't show the full news. Just hang like that.

Your video ad is really annoying. I don't mind the normal ad between new highlights list. But to wait for the video ad to finish and then be able to get to obtain the news?? Jeezzzz. Astro AWANI you can do better.

App works great. But the notification i sadly not ok. When you click the notification, it will open the app but dont navigate to the notified news. So u basically need to search the news in the app. Basically, its a pain.

Ads are very intrusive and ruthless. And they cover about 30% of the page, or 30 seconds long without option to skip. Baik letak berita atas pop-up iklan tu je, lagi senang nak baca.

The new look is modern and feels a bit refreshing, I think this is a good improvement and it should stay this way. Congrats, you guys have made it, but it'll be great to include options for to change language. Not that I don't prefer Bahasa Melayu but I prefer to read in English. And of course it's only my humble opinion.

Not satisfying reading with multiples of add and news too slow to load. Notification received in 1 min but when tried to open the news selected not opened. I love the news posted in Awani but need something wide news which we dont have to open other apps to check news

I uninstall the apps after few weeks. The ads is very intrusive, it appear full screen before the news. The overall UX using this apps make it feels like a free children game when the the ads fill out the entire screen

the news are good. but the app has problems with its lagging issues. sometimes i rather check news on awani's website. the app needs to be rebooted everytime for a smooth run.
