Astro Gold

I am a professional astrologer and this is the best app for casting and reading charts. However, this is for advanced use only. I would not recommend it for beginners who want to read interpretations (read other reviews). Otherwise, it is a fab on-the-go tool! It's simple, stylish and highly functional with almost as many features as the full solar fire desktop version that it's based on. I've been using it for years and very pleased.

So far a very useful app for most purposes. I particularly like the zoom and dark background features, as well as the adjustable progress forward and back feature. The menus are easy to use with a lot, but not overwhelming, options. The aspect reports are excellent, although I'd like to be able to expand into a single page. The graphics are very nice and pleasing to the eye. NOTE TO THE DEVELOPER: Please add a relocated chart option, and Eris to the planet's list, as a free update. Also an astrocartography add on for a small fee would be fantastic!

Great little astrology program, until you need to print or save a chart to send to someone. It does a 'print screen' kind of thing with the background color. So you either get a pale yellow background or light grey depending on your printer. Also is saved in a weird format, so if you want to email it, the person receiving has to figure out which program to open it with. It's nice for my phone/tablet. But very limited beyond that. If I had it do to over, I'd not purchase it again.

So disappointed - a lot of expense for little in return. Wish I could get a refund. I bought this because I liked the look of the graphics and because I'd heard great things about Solar Fire. I thought, for the price, I'd get something half decent on my Android devices. This is the only app I've bought on my Chromebook that hasn't automatically copied to my phone (very frustrating). It's not easy to use and poor value for money. Astroseek is better and it's free!

This product for the android phone, albeit new to me, gets 3 stars because it does work and the secondary progressed chart is accurate. The problem is that the color patterns are unclear on this android phone and the retrograde planets are not labeled as being retrograde. Transiting planets and natal planets are not labeled as retrograde. They claim these are 'color coded in red' yet color transmission is unclear. This is an important flaw in the application.

As a beginner teaching myself with this app on my ipad I just love it, it's enourmous value for money and gets me a long way without needing pro software. It can do natal charts, transits, progressions, solar arcs, synastry, lunar and solar returns. It has interpretation notes for synastry and transits which is helpful to me as a beginner. This software is very easy to use and quite intuitive, you'll get the hang of it and get going quickly, it's also visually pleasing, highly recommended!!! A++

Great app the only reason I'm not giving it 4 stars is because it doesn't have all the features that the iOS does for example no transits and that i cannot create new charts as it crashes when I do as well as many different other options I pick. Please fix this as I would still like to continue using the app when possible.

Save that money!! App is lacking in anything that would make it stand out and is watered-down in it's interpretation context (if there are any!!) You can calculate asteroids/ different house systems and aspects but if you don't have above average knowledge then this app will not provide you any either...sad product in my opinion!! You can get the same functionality online for free and the basic understanding in personal research.

I like astro gold and have used for years now but the difference between the android and iOS version of the app has become too jarring (for lack of a better word) given the price. Not only do we lack the essential diginities but, the android ver. doesn't allow the 3 chart comparisons, report purchases like in the ios ver., updates are far in between and even now I'm noticing a bug where it's not recognizing two charts I have open as a synastry chart instead a transit chart. We need more asap.

Most frustrating astrology software I've ever used. Can't even save a chart. Supposed to, but it does not. " User friendly" is not something the programer obviously does not understand at all. Very sad. I had high hopes. But instead I feel ripped off.

The Android version is Astro Gold's poor man version of the same app made available for macOS and iOS. That they all cost pretty much the same is almost an affront. It IS a good app, but this feature discrepancy between versions is ridiculous.

i'm an astrologer for a living and i use this app in my consultations with clients. very reliable. would love to see them add more asteroids, arabic parts, dwarf planets etc in the future, but i really can't complain, this is truly a wonderful app, i highly recommend it.

Great for creating charts and lots of customisation available. But unlike the iPhone version, this android version can't create a list of transits for particular periods of time. If I knew that I wouldn't have bought this app.

I recommend this Astrology Chart Software. There are some improvements developers could make : Good Natal and Synastry Charts...no way to share chart interpretations by email. Aspects for which there are no interpretations should be flagged by color. On review of the 84 aspects, software should send you back to where you were in the list (it send you back to beginning) Overall Excellent astrology chart software especially on tablet and mobile devices.

An amazing app, very similar to the pc app a friend of mine uses for her work. One thing, with the solar return interpretations, laid over the natal biwheel the report reads as a synastry chart. Also, it'd be nice to have more interps on the asteroids. Outside of that very pleased!

Pretty irked for a few reasons. I already l paid $40 for iOS version on my old iPhone. Reached out since I had to change to Android and it was asking for a new $25 for the Android Version. My ticket was closed by CS and told to my "Solution" was already available in FAQs. They provided NO solution other than redirect to a statement explaining why everyone should pay ~$60 for different version on another OS. Now having the app, it has less features/charts than iOS. Aspect lines/glyphs won't show.

This runs great on my ipad but it keeps crashing on my android phone whenever I try to search for a chart via the search bar (even after the latest update) . Can you please release an update for this? Thanks

I use this app daily so I do find it useful, but like other users have mentioned it would be nice if extra add ons like fixed stars were added. Also it would be nice to have tri-wheel options for Android users. I don't know why tri-wheels are available for Iphone users but not us. Seems like an unusual function to deny so many people who have paid good money to use this app.

The application isn't the best one. Astro Charts Pro far exceeds it in terms of depth and attention to detail. However, one can appreciate the sheer accuracy of the interpretations and relative ease of use.

I bought this mainly for the essential dignity calculator. It was advertised in a way, created impression to me that the android app come with this function too. Very disappointed to find out this is not included in the mobile app.

Fantastic app! Love being able to generate accurate and reliable charts quickly and easily on the go. Quick, mini reports also really helpful for learning.

I love many things about this app but it is more glitchy than I want it to be for being such a pricey one. I'm happy to come and update my review if it changes. Currently having issues and I don't know how to figure them out.

Nice UI and easy to use but very limited. Money would be better spent on other apps that may be less visually pleasing but offer more functionality.

I love this app but, like other Android users, *really* miss the iPhone functionality like dignity reports etc. But the animate chart feature is worth the price alone, esp for fine tuning electional charts.

Amazing but I'd love more asteroids, fixed stars, profection years, releasing, etc. And I wish filing in the app was easier

Good Day, I am seeking to know this. Can i uninstall this app from my Galaxy note 5 phone & reinstall on my surface pro? I find it harder to use on my phone as well as read because of small font. Can anyone give a solution. Have emailed twice left on FB and still no answer back. A new beginner astrologer and neef this app on my tablet so i may continue my studies. Disappointing. For the most expensive astrology app on the Play Store it's also one of the most lacking. Doesn't include Fixed Stars or Arabic Parts (except Fortune). Tested for about 10 minutes and refunded. If you've read this far, go with Astro Visor instead, or just use a web-based chart like Astro Seek.
