About 7Timer------------7Timer!, pronounced as "Tri-Timer", means "bell of clear sky" in Chinese. It is a series of meteorological forecast products. Most of the products base on a numeric weather model from NOAA/NCEP, called GFS, and aim on short-term (up to 16 days) weather forecast service for special purpose, for example, astronomical activities, or meteorological condition assessment. 7Timer! was first introduced in mid 2005 and has been revised for better fitting of public service operation in mid 2008. It's first designed as a weather forecast tool for astronomical purpose, as the author himself is a long-term astronomer and is always annoyed by fluky weather conditions.

I like Astrospheric app better but I like the simplicity of this app & how you're able to see the extended forecast right away. Suggestion: Add a shortcut to calendar app so users have the ability to send themself notifications for upcoming "clear sky opportunities"
Cloud forecast predictions are inaccurate - I will never base my observing on this app again. I will stick to Google weather and the Norwegian weather app yr.no which is very good. It is, however, a nicely constructed app and has made me aware of different weather elements such as transparency which are relevant when observing the stars.
Good application, but not able to connect 7timer service since few days on my OnePlus6. Reinstalling also didn't worked. Error comes immideatly after launch. Don't know how to fix.
Used to be awesome but now its just too flakey. can't connect to the time server, been happening for months and the developer seems uninterested in fixing.
Most inaccurate app on Android - notifications say "clear skies I see stars" during thunderstorms and when cloud cover in the app itself shows full covered white disc!
App is great and accurate. Small note to the widget, it is off ( not the same as the app and off on predictions)
Excellent for years the needed info, in simpel compact design, i use it to forcast my astronomy time, skywatching

Surprisingly precise forecast!
Tremendous app. It is my #1 tool for my astrophotography sessions. It has a very easy to read and use GUI with all the pertinant data points one needs for any astro-based observation. Please keep up great work. Have been ising it for over 4 years.
Was working fine. Now seems stuck on August 9. Useless now. Hope it's fixed soon.
Can't download hours of darkness feature. I don't know if this is a phone issue or app issue. Or maybe you deleted this feature.
A few days ago it started thinking it was August 9 and it is March 4. This makes it worthless. Before this issue I loved it and used it often. Hopefully they can get it fixed.
Current date in overview tab says August 9th but it should be March 5. Needs work

Great app when working but mine is now saying it is the 9th of August. I have tried a reinstall but still the same.??? Update now just keeps crashing?????!!!! 😡
It won't update what day it is. It shows me the past 3 days and is not even current. Checked and checked and checked for some "refresh" or something. I even tried to uninstall and reinstall. I sit here writing this Saturday morning and it only goes to last night at midnight. I'm not bothering with it any more. I'll just look at the weather forcast...
It's been an indispensable companion over the years on three of my devices. Sometimes the downtime got to me , but otherwise , it kept me that much closer to starry skies with quite accurate measures of transparency, cloud cover , sunlight and moonlight durations , seeing , cloud cover in octas and so on . In fact , quite so useful that I haven't reviewed it over 3 years :) .
I liked AstroPanel very much for showing transparency and the resolution allowed by the atmosphere. These cannot be found in the usual weather apps... But unfortunately it became unable to load any data a few months ago. Says "downloading", but nothing happens... Finally I gave up and uninstalled. :(
Really disappointed considering the promise ths app held. Its features r i guess too good 2 b true NOW OWN S7EDGE-APP IS PERFECT! Workz as listed, happy 2 change to 4🌟
It worked once upon a time but not any more some kind of 7 error crap. I think the author lost interest. I downloaded it twice in the past year on two different phones but no go. It says downloading when you start the program and it never comes up with a screen. Hey it is free so why should the guy care, he should just remove it so people will not waste their time trying it.
Used to work great on my Galaxy 4 then after an update it never worked again. Now I have a Galaxy 6 and still it won't work. Best app to use if your an amateur astronomer. Was always pretty darn accurate. Would really like it to work again. But nothing I do works.
WHY CAN'T I TURN THE NOTIFICATIONS OFF? It's good information, but keeps sending annoying notifications all the time. Astronomy is just a hobby, not a full-time job for me, so I don't appreciate all the nagging about how I should be out there observing. I'm very tempted to uninstall it just to stop them, which would be a pity because the information is useful when I want it.
