I paid for the app but it won't open on Android 10. If you open the other app on the store they ask for your personal data. That was the reason I paid so I would not have to share my data or get advertisings.
Used to work great but after an update it can no longer copy/paste or move files. It is now effectively useless.
Was a good, useful app that I paid for. When I upgraded to a new Android 11 phone, I found I had to share private data to use it. This is an outrage! What did I pay for? Formerly good product, now a dud and I won't use it.
It used to be a useful application but not it won't let you access any features that you paid for without letting the application have full access to your phone and steal all of your information.
I paid for the pro version n now it demands app permissions. That was not part of the agreement. I wish Google would look into this. I should get my money back.
Overall the app works quite well. It just seems to want a lot of permissions -more than I felt like giving.
App has not been updated to work properly with any of the newer Android versions.
in my experience, so far, ghe best file manager app that i have found.
Provides a simple detailed analysis of your files, old and new
Paid for the app, no longer available to me. Junk.
Stopped working since latest android update.
No longer works, update required
Not watching for Android 10...:(
It used to be good but with the privacy issues I won't use it.
"Let us see everything you do, or you can not use this app. Which you paid for... "
I paid for this and you 'need' usage access to mine my data?
Oof end of an era. App developers sold out
Wants access? I paid for this!!!
Love this app
Will not start on my tablet
If you can still get v3.x, it is worth buying but the new v4 interface is utter garbage, don't buy it. Rather spend your money on a backup tool so you can revert to v3.x when you accidentally update to v4. Uninstalled, despite having bought it years ago, now using ES FILE EXPLORER.
I've always found Astro to be superior to other file manager apps, that's why I was willing to pay the $4 for it. Also, ads bother me bigtime. My only complaint is how almost every file and folder name is too long and wrapped to the next line..but that is just a minor GUI issue and not really a problem.
I used the free version and loved it so much I eventually bought it to support the developer. I use this for file management and it's very handy for transferring files to cloud accounts or backing things up to an SD card or external drive. I've used it on the LG Moment, HTC Evo 4G, Samsung GS3, Galaxy Note 10.1 and LG G3.
Useless on LG Optimus Pad, it can not see USBDISK event I bought key for pro version. Customer service is also worse. They have never reply my email about the bug of Astro with my G-Slate. I feel dissappointed and like I were robberied when I found out the free app named File Manager HD is easy to mount my external usb disk.
Newer version requires the ability for them to collect your data to run. Even with purchased version. Security issue conserns. If I could give negative value is would
