Astroball - Brick Breaker (Ad Free)

I always enjoy brick breaking type games and this one is nicely done. Challenging levels, excellent power ups, nice background music, and excellent graphics. But about those graphics, I wouldn't play this game if you have any sort of visual processing disorder (including motion sickness!). I have never seen a game try so hard to get you to lose by making its graphics more intrusive! I like it personally, it makes it more of a challenge, but on the same note I can't play very long at a time.

I really like this because it seems to be the only brick breaker game out there with no ads. But there is some lacking. There's pretty bad paddle lag, there's words/ numbers flying all over the screen while you're trying to watch the ball, there's no way to slow down the ball by hitting it just the right way, as in other similar games. You can lose coins even after they hit the paddle. Levels are beautiful and very cleverly designed though. Wish there were more levels.

Great game, best of all with no ads. There's quite a few particle effects that obstruct visibility and are hard on the eyes (if these could be toggle-able in the options that would be perfect!) but otherwise it's graphically appealing. Solid gameplay with interesting power-ups and levels, but unfortunately, they can end up dragging on longer than necessary. Overall, it's a solid 5/5 game with only a few minor issues left.

Exactly what I was looking for. Ad free. WooHoo!!! Ads are ruining our world. Thanks for this. Store doesn't work. Gems through grinding will never be enough for upgrades. You have to manually save or you loose progress if you re-install. I'm not redoing these, so I'm uninstalling already after my first re-install. Not worth it. Ball can take forever to bounce down if it's bouncing horizontally. Like, forever! Who has time for that? Background is so flashy, you lose the ball all the time.

The game is very well detailed in graphics and starts off fun. But I had uninstall it because when it comes time to the ball speeding up the background special effects are nauseating to my eyes and it distracts me too much from watching the ball because of all the animations going on at once. I got to level 3 and had to stop playing it. I wish you an option to turn off animation in the background then I'd be able to play it 😔

One of the best brickbreaker variants on the market. 300 levels, each with three levels of difficulty. Top notch graphics and music. Multiple power ups, each with multiple upgrades. The cost of the power ups seem pricey at first, but each level has an abundance of coins to collect making the upgrades easily obtainable yet still requiring some grinding. Definitely download this masterpiece!!

Good game overshadowed by low progression. The controls are excellent. Graphics can be a little distracting. The power ups have real weight behind them... When you find one. One hundred levels in, and the only stages that have power ups are the ones with mandatory unbreakable blocks. I farmed +3 gold and +2 magnet to hasten early upgrades.. but the item upgrades don't do anything if their items don't actually drop. Gold drops turn almost non-existent after the first level, even with +3 luck.

A pretty standard popcorn / Arcanoid / DX Ball / Krypton Egg type game with a twist: you only play one level at a time instead of all of them at once, and you earn coins as you play so you can purchase "upgrades" to make the game slightly easier/better in future plays. There are a lot of really fun levels. Problems: you get no points for earning (perfect) 3* on levels and it costs A LOT of coins to actually purchase upgrades. With $10 you can really improve the quality of play though.

It was fun but I think they overdid the graphics the background is too distracting when it moves when you move the paddle and then when it turns into a spiral in the background as the speed picks up on the ball it's way too much and you sort of is concentration where the ball is, especially when the ball continually hits brick after brick making combos, all the explosions make it hard to keep your eye where the ball is until it's too late to react to hit it.

After playing the entire game and getting 3 stars in all except level 4-9 which is driving me crazy trying to get 3 stars i came here and read a whole bunch of reviews and have to agree with the majority in that the background even after the update is extremly distracting to the point of nausea, def not for people that have seizures as it gets REALLY bad. So how can i get 3 stars in level 4-9? Im going crazy over here lol

An underrated classic, brings back some serious childhood nostalgia. I've tried a few other brick breaker games, but this one by far is the most similar compared to the one from 2000. There's not an insane amount of ads either! I also love the graphics. :)

The background makes it hard to see the ball especially when at a higher speed. Other than that, I absolutely love this and would love to see more levels! I gave the rating because I still love playing even though I have the slight problem with the background while playing.

Graphics: Flashy, but decent. A bit of an eyesore. Gameplay: Kind of difficult, atleast for me anyway. Audio: Neat music at first, fair quality sounds Menu: Many options +Ad Free +Upgrades, power Ups -Smallest upgrade is atleast 1K coins. Big minus: Clone Anyone remember Blasterball for PC? Overall: not bad. Felt a little repetitive *So about controls, the paddle wasn't imprecise, it's just... are there controllers for phone? IDK, i'll look it up.

Wasn't a bad game. Tried too hard with the graphics, but at least there were graphics. Game was fluid so had smooth gameplay. Had to uninstall because of the graphics, but personal issues with how it looks doesn't change the fact it is still a solid game.

Sorry to rate only three, but background is way too distracting... Visual nightmare. And when you get tiny ball with strobing background.. not fun. 3 levels was enough for me. Was not inviting to play more. Maybe for others... But it IS ad free. Thanks

Superb, bright,, colorful graphics. I've grown to really like this game. It is challenging. You may not win on the first go around. Each level is unique in the way the bricks move or release boosts.

A solid brick breaker. The graphics are too distracting when the ball speeds up. Hitting every brick twice is not fun. Challenge must be met with reward. Speeding up the ball shouldn't be punished with blinding graphics. Double hit blocks should guard a reward, not make the game drag on forever.

Nice graphics but boring. There's almost no power ups falling, the ball never goes faster and is slow. Also there's some brick that when you hit them, instead if breaking, they spawn another brick in front. It takes too long to clear a level.

Amazing game. Great controls and graphics. One suggestion would be to maybe add a challenges such as timer and maybe even have the bricks little by little as time runs out. It's a great game as is but a few editions could perfect it

Very good addition to the Brick Breaker games available out there. It takes originality to stand out from the rest and Astroball manages to achieve a unique feel with hreat colourful graphics, and plenty upgrades. Would love to see more game modes (such as infinite mode and leaderboards).

I love the little details that make this feel like an early 2000's game that with the voices, music style and the visuals. It's a simple but strong difference in contrast with other causal games that just feel like they were made to keep you barely entertained while shoving adds at your face every other moment .

Excellent Arcanoid clone The game is definitely challenging, even on easy level! I've now completed all the levels. A bit disappointing that no celebration graphics at the end. Great game with amazing graphics, and not too easy like other arcanoid games.

The game is designed with esthetic sense, the physics of the game is really good for a pong style game, the sound effects and the overall look sticks to the astro theme, the ball level ups are interesting and satisfying, despite being an easy play and non addictive it’s a great offline android game when you need to pass time or need a break from work

Two levels away from completing this game on the hard level and it's being the great experience actually. Some very challenging levels. The load time at the beginning of each level is not cool however.

It's a fun game, both challenging and relaxing at the same time. Sometimes the paddle is laggy and I lose the ball, so please update it to get rid of this problem! Overall, this probably my favourite mobile brick breaker game.

UPDATE 4/18/2021 Unfortunately the online store to make purchases appears to be closed. No way to add points if necessary. The developer website appears to be down as well. Its by far the best brick breaker game I've ever played. The graphics are awesome. Game play is top-notch. Completing each level really gives me a feeling of accomplishment. I can't say enough good things about this incredible game. Well worth your time.

On the one hand, this game is almost great. But it's tooooooooooo slow. And the nebula burst in the background only makes it seem more lethargic. Makes the bricks, ball, and paddle a little (about 50%) smaller, put the paddle further from the bricks, up the speed of the ball and lay off the rainbow nebula effect and this game would be perfect.

Keeps you on your toes and I like the that there is no ads , and a good game to keep you entertained, and I also like that you can pause the game then come back to where you left off . I hope other players try this game out . And love the graphics I give this five star's .
