This app was great at first. But after 2 years, it goes poor. Some mp3 file on playlists cannot play anymore and all song will stop when switching data to wifi or otherwise. Please fix that problems or I will remove it from my device. And will be more great if we can add more playlists and tune the equalizer on normal use.
It works. However, as with some other players, when playing an album from a folder the ordering is alphabetical by song title. The actual album order from the album would be better.
Come on guys. No app updates since 2016? Why would I buy another ASUS product? I can barely get my high dollar wireless router to connect AIPlayer to my tablets and phones and the interface is absurdly clunky. If you can't update your app how can I trust your router?
Working great for music. Loads long lists instantly.. Video files play instantly also but I guess there is no video player involved so you only get the audio.
Good. I really love the asus music player app, but they stopped serving it. ðŸ˜. if there is any chance please modify this or make it available.
It won't play any music from the network share. The share is a USB Drive attached to the router...
it doesn't work. i have an RT-AX88 and the software can't find the router. useless.
Why is this app not being maintained? The latest update is for Android 6 ?!?
App crashes because its not updated. Im up to date on my Samsung note 10 10/1/20.
doesn't support equaliser on zenfone max pro m2 than wats d use of this app.Asus do something and give us a music player with equaliser.
Its working grate in my Tecno mobile too..😀 thank U ASUS developer to bring back a brand new music player Again in play store.
Not built for Android 10.
Just what I needed for my Asus tablet! Works well. Glad I found it.
it does not work with Serviio
Song has not show folderwise
Please add equalizer and improve sound quality....
No udates available totally waste not working
App hasn't been updated in 4 years
failed to my Zee 3 Max
Does the job.
It was a mediocre piece of... software, but at least it was intermittently working before the June 2016 update, now, over a year since, it is just plain useless: it does not recognize it's own Asus routers, so it cannot be used for its designed purpose: play media from the Asus Router Media Server. Your programmers broke compatibility with your own products and still nobody fixed the problem over a year... why is this app even still here on the marketplace, it's a mistery.
No MKV support I like to keep my videos in MKV format, meaning this app is useless for me. Please add support for this file type.
Not good offline player as compared to previous ordinary music player. Also, this doesnt have much options to set equaliser, sleep timer and all stuffs. Kindly add these so i will give you 5 stars.
It does not recognize its own... this Asus player app does not work with any of the Asus UPnP routers: Used to work with our RT-AC66U, but since the YEAR AGO update it does not anymore... Please fix it, or it's useless.
Have to manually play each song from a folder. It does not automatically take all songs from a folder and start playing them. After every song u need to go to app and select next song
I'm using rt-ac68u. Please fix it and get a 5 star
Asus AiPlayer doesn't recognize Asus Router. Please fix it!
Ai Cloud works great for accessing my files and was a wonderful addition to the router I bought. Why does AiPlayer only have access to my local media though and not the storage device attached to my ASUS Router? More ironic is the fact that when I choose music from the AiCloud it actually uses AiPlayer to run it... But I can't use AiPlayer by itself in any way to navigate to the (non-local) music. It is reading random PC's on my local network and even my Smart TV as a source but not the router. I chose the TV just for fun and it crashed. I go to Device Setup and it says "choose device" but there is no device to choose. I actually need to back out with the app button because this screen disables my physical home and back buttons on the phone. I really could love it, if some more love were put into it. Give those devs some money and set them to work.
