Wow, you've managed to irritate me with a clock. After the new update, setting up an alarm clock comes with a vibration when scrolling through the numbers and there's no option in the settings to turn it off. The first thing I do on a new phone is turn off vibration on tap, yet you decided that I must have it in this app regardless
The clock on my lock screen disappeared. I did every fix I could ever find online except a factory reset because I cannot do that, I will lose alot of valuable stuff. It's really inconvenient that I have no clock on the lock screen and downloadable apps just have waaay too much ads, it drains my data and battery.
You all need is to uninstall this app (the updated version) and it will work smoothly. Well, I just did and yeah... I don't have a problem with the time freezing. It works both clock and widget. Who cares for updated app? As long as it's working properly, outdated or updated is useless :)
The timer update is horrible. Now I need at least three clicks to delete a timer, whereas I could've done it with just one before. Also the scrollable time input is more difficult to use than when you just have to press and drag the clock hands.
Update changed the way the clock is set... horrible idea. Its has to be spun around to get the numbers your looking for now and it passes the number your trying to get most of the time, no matter how careful you try. Come on folks, it was easier to just use a number pad! May uninstall and get a different one if the option doesn't revert back to the original input used for YEARS. Don't know why the alarm sound times then snooze automatically. Then after 10min it repeated again. 3 times the alarm sound then silence. How do i gonna been wake it up then. And plus i also didn't have the chance to reach the phone & turn the alarm off in that short 3 sound alarm, even in the pocket. Pls fix the bugs...if not the alarm is usefulness
Recently all my alarms turn off all by itself during the night, they're all set in the evening but in the morning the alarm widget says OFF even though in the app itself all alarms are set to ON, please advise as I need the alarms to work they all worked fine and I have not changed any settings they just stop working and I was late...
Does everything I expect from an alarm plus clock widget. Easy to use. Love the Skip function. Please do NOT add seconds, but a simple calender (any format) would be wonderful. Wish you could make the app available on non-ASUS phones also :-)
I have v7.2.0.14 installed and it has dark mode! but.. it now has digital clock to set an alarm; which is slow, because you need to scroll through the hours and minutes :-/ timer list is also too large now; so unnecessary :-/ also needs seconds; at least as an option.
The alarm's ringtone doesn't stop after 1 minute like the older version app. It rings until you stop it. The older version will stop after 1 minute and then snooze. I like it, i used it everyday. Now ???. Please bring it back. Thanks
got a little problem.. i just did a factory data reset on my phone and now, im trying to get back my old ui so now, im updating everything including this clock app.. however, the app icon stayed as from the older version with the white plate, and the red and black clock hands, which is far from this blue plate, and white clock hands.. its just a tiny problem but here are 5 stars for the app! hope for an update regarding this.. thanks!
After the last update when setting the time the app vibrates and there is no option to turn it off. It's horrible when you are already in bed. Please, fix it adding an option in settings menu.
This Alarm App was working well before, but now it doesn't work properly. Even if we set everything in settings, i.e, 1 minute snooze time, 1 time, etc. when the alarm rings it rings without stop.
Maybe you can add or optionally insert photo on alarm. Its a good thing you can insert your love ones photo on it, while phone is alarming. 👍 And its making the app more fun. Like honestly it too normal the way it is. My opinion only. Hope you can give it a try Devs. More power! 👍
I'd give this app 0 stars if I could. One thing we should definitely be able to "count" on is time. This app has trouble. If I set a timer, it shouldn't alarm 1,2,3,4,5 minutes after the time still counting how much time has past since it should have rang out. All thumbs down.
often times alarms don't go off. the "skip today" function often skips 2 days. unreliable and inconvenient. hope this update addresses these issues. This issue persist after several updates. Unreliable, unfortunately.
Can you add an hourly chime function option? That means that the phone / clock can make a sound on an hourly basis or depending on the user's setting. Thank you very much.
0 Stars. The app does not work. I had set 35 alarms last week and it worked only 1 time. Secondly, when that 1 alarm rang there was no alarm screen or notification, my phone was just ringing and vibrating without any buttons to shut it down, I simply restart my phone then. Just like all the other Asus Apps (Auto Start Manager, Phone Manager etc.) which are useless just as this one. I regret buying the rog phone.
Icon time display updates after random delay, throughly unreliable. No longer includes 2x1 homescreen widget. Sometimes interface is lost when ringing, can't be stopped without reopening app from icon.
Please show in the widget the day the alarm is set on. Right now, only the alarm time is shown but the alarm day is not. And also, please make the alarm time setting wheel bigger, so that it is easier to turn.
One change i want to have is to be able to see notification of the upcoming alarm and be able to dismiss it before it goes off without diabling the alarm in the settings...the "skip next alarm" doesn't seem to work..
The clock app used to freeze and what I did to fix the problem was uninstall the updates and most importantly, to fix this problem I unchecked the "Animated Clock Icon" option in the settings. My app hasn't stopped working since then.
When the alarm is going off it has a bright white full screen. It would be nice if you could alter this to minimize and change background.
How to disable the vibration when scrolling the numbers? Its super annoying. Which idiot in your team thought this vibrating was a good idea? Can't find any option to disable it in ur app. Phone setting vibration is already off but still it vibrates when scrolling the numbers. **UPDATE** uninstalled this version and installed previous version without the annoying vibration. Fire the guy who coded the vibration.
App is okay...but it should have option to Dismiss the Alarms before 2 hours or so if you wake up early and want to dismiss the pendjng Alarms... Please add some more features like disable for one day or off for recurring Alarms like MI clock app
It used to be a nice compact (2 lines) widget that would show you the time and the weather. With he lastest update it takes 3 lines and does even show weather anymore.
This is probably the single worst failure of ZenUI, which comes along with the overall lack of customization after ZenUI 4 update. I am forced to use a custom ROM on my Zenfone, otherwise I have to use a vertical-only clock design that has terrible visibility unless you change your theme which guess what, are mostly paid and made by ASUS only.
After latest update the clock will randomly be an hour ahead or behind the time. Resetting my phone does not fix this problem. Updated app as well as uninstalling it and reinstalling app does not help
The new updates cause the app to constantly stop or crush. The app doesn't update the time which makes it unreliable and pointless. Who needs clock app that doesn't show you the correct time? Because of that neither timer or alarms work properly. Thanks to this 'amazing' app I was late for work, because neither off my 3 alarms went off. To say that I don't recommend would be and understatement.
