App was updated today!!! (5/5/22) I was able to get my mobile use information on my S8 phone...I hadn't been able to do that for a long time... I want to see if this app is working as it should (the data information would disappear) Thank you AT&T for bringing the app back... This app hasn't 100% worked in the year I've owned this tablet. As of 2/10/22 it's still broken on the galaxy tab s7, thus, no functional hotspot. It's been out of service for almost 2 weeks now. The app fails to save your hotspot settings as well. It also fails to display which devices are connected to the hotspot. It throws errors more often than not when simply opening the app. Super disappointed in att.

App seems well designed it just doesn't work. Slow to load anything and I can only use my mobile hotspot in the app but that doesn't work 80% of the time. Using on a Galaxy tab 7... 3 stars for design and 0 stars for usability.

Why do I have to use this app on my Galaxy Tab 5e? I used to be able to turn on Hotspot from settings, but now I have to use this app. It only broadcasts a 2.4Ghz wifi signal and the SSID/password keeps getting reset over night. Very frustrating and a poorly designed app!

Worthless. This app does nothing, can't log in, Hotspot doesn't work. Everything it claims to do can be done in tablets settings except activation and that's not worked from day 1

this app has some kind of problem that it never stays functioning and always goes back to a default and unusable State. I don't know if there's a setting in the background that isn't allowing it to function but every single day it is not doing its job. The widget never has the data plan link to it, and neither does the main app. You have to open it and force it to refresh every single time if you want to see your data usage. AT&t needs to rewrite this app from the ground up.

New AT&T customer. Always had verizon and they have a similar app that has a widget that shows data. That is why I wanted this but it isnt working at all. Sometimes it just says "updating" and never works. Other times its just a blank white screen. The widget always shows no data used. I see in the comments that a lot of others have the same issue. I assume it's a software bug since it seems like a common and recent issue. . Please fix with an update! Note 10+ 5g.

Horrible every time I go to use it or even try to use it I get Error 611 bull**** . I have used Mark the spot, I have used trouble shooting, I have called and called and called about the program and it still does not work right. Then they give you BS about your internet usage so you wait till your data starts over AND it still does not work. So they tell you reset your connection that doesn't work. I even have a direct line to advance tech. That doesn't help either. ๐Ÿ‘Ž

Broken with OneUI update. Updated my Samsung tab s7 to the latest oneUI and now I have no hotspot again.... standard for AT&T....I should've seen this coming a mile away! This app is garbage!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Since December update, the ability to use Samsung Galaxy Tab E as mobile hotspot stopped working. Constantly gives data plan not found and network error preventing mobile hotspot usage. Had worked fairly well for several years before latest update. Edit: Like others with Tab, uninstalling update seems to have returned functionality. Still a hassle though.

Feb 2019 version is flawed. breaks hotspot and send 10+ bill notifications daily. only need one total. reported to AT&T and support does not take time to read feedback. notified them about the issues with app and nothing was done, removed updates for the app and old version works flawlessly. hate that you cannot disable auto updates for the app as it keeps trying to reinstall the Feb 2019 version. have turned off auto updates for the pad and manually install other updates.

Like everything else with AT&T wireless this app stopped working. Uninstalled and re-installed to no avail. I believe AT&T does that so that you can't tell how much data your family is using. Last time my app shows data updates Moses sent it to me written on stone tablets! Just another way for AT&T to say you used too much data but gives you no chance to verify it. Time to contact the FCC and file a complaint.

Worked great on my LG G8 for the last 2 years. Had to refresh login every once in a while but otherwise no problems. Mostly used it for the widget that shows usage. Switched to Samsung S20 FE 5G purchased through AT&T. Can't load anything in the home tab so the widget doesn't show uage anymore. Rebooted phone, force stopped app, cleared data and cache, gave app all permissions, all other tabs work, and disconnected wireless when it asked me to. Home tab still won't load anything. Bummer

Hotspot stopped working. A FIX... Another user's idea worked for me. I clicked "Uninstall". This appears to uninstall the update and not the app because then instead of "Install" it says "Update" or "Open". I did not click "Update" and just clicked "Open". After reconnecting to my account, it started working again. Yay! This is after tech support and I exhausted every option we could think of. I think the problem is a glitch in the app update. For now I have turned off auto-update. Samsung Tab E

Ever since I had my phone. The APT work fine until last year. If I uninstalled it. Had to keep calling up to this day, there are automated customer service application doesn't work either. I have to keep talking to people in order to add my mini. Fix it! I'm tired of having my password be not recognized! On this app and they're automated phone service! I'm done. Verizon's looking pretty damn good at this point!

Used to work fine (Samsung Note9) but recently it hasn't been working on my phone. It works fine with my wife's phone, same model, but not on mine. It was also removed from my phone (automatically) I reinstalled it and put the widget back and now it's CONSTANTLY updating data and then fails. AT&T please update the app! I have also for about 2 years now been having issues with text messages ALWAYS needing to be manually downloaded by touching the download button. AT&T get it together!

Useless as of late. One day the app will tell me what my data is at. The next day the app goes blank and will not connect. I've had the same notification that my bill is due next month on 4 separate occasions within the last week. Deleting for now because of the failures.

would be great if I didn't get dozens of notifications every day that my bill is ready and I could actually use the mobile hotspot. This has been going on for over a month. contacted support and still isn't fixed. UPDATE: Restored tablet and now it works again. The problem is with the update. After restoring my tablet the personal hotspot worked again and is still working. Hope this helps anyone having them same problem.

its good WHEN & IF it works. constant App Not Activated and Check Your Wireless Connection errors when it is simple to connect to the net. Could be much better if the developers actually cared and if tech support really helped. SICK OF HEARING "why do you want to use the app anyway?" from them. Its like trying to justify using it when they get confrontational about it not working right. Oh, and it isn't even accurate. If I were them, I would pay people to use it!

My wife and I both have Samsung Tab 7 5G devices. We like everything about them other than the ATT All Access application which runs the hotspot and can not be changed. The application will not retain the settings that are applied and changes the security to "Open" on its own when turned on. This pretty much makes the hotspot useless. We have spent over 13 hours talking to ATT and Samsung tech support. Each blame the other for the problem, we don't care. Please fix the problem!
