AT&T Device Unlock

I have always had att service,love they service, never had customer service issues. However I strongly feel that att manufacturally installs stupid,pointless apps,doesn't work, already has the same exact settings in the manufacturing settings like the smart AT&t Wi-Fi what's the point when I have a Wi-Fi button manufacturing on my phone?? don't need. AT&t STOP with the apps already in manufactured settings. It's using my storage space

The app works perfectly on my phone...however please be aware that you will need to know everything about APN settings, mms settings, and everything else due to the fact that the customer services representatives for this company know absolutely nothing about a hole in their shoe. For anyone who has issues with switching carriers: turn WiFi and Mobile Data OFF, do a simple network settings reset (not a factory reset), turn phone off, insert new SIM card from new carrier and fire it up. Adjust APN settings to your new provider/carrier, save, and restart phone once again. Turn on Mobile Data after restarting phone and you will then see the carrier has been switched without having to "unlock" using an app.

I'd rate this a ZERO if I could. Pre-installed on the phone yet phone not supported. After almost TWO YEARS and multiple calls to tech support my phone STILL ISN'T UNLOCKED. After having AT&T service for almost 20 years I think I'm going to switch.

Doesnt work on any phone i have. AT&T advertises "bring your own phone, Any phone" but fail to twll you they have several that arent on their network list. I even looked online and found a couple on their lists, used this app only to find out i bought phones they didnt "contract" with. After 11 years with them, im switching carriers. They acted like thet didnt care at all. Loyalty is lost.

Trying to unlock my phone to move to a different carrier. It seems like they make you jump through hoops and finally tells you about this app witch does not work. Just get get a blank screen.

well let me first say that I do not enjoy giving a poor rating to an app however this one surely deserves it. 1 star. that's it. why? because this app does not work. no matter how many times I open it and reopen it nothing happens. uninstalled/reinstalled and still nothing. website just tells me my info incorrect when I try to unlock that way. ridiculous. fix the app and give me my unlock code and I'll change my rating.

This app should be an option not a preloaded installed app an one day I hope they will design a phone where pre installed apps does not count against you I just want to be able to get a new phone turn it on set it up an before ever downloading any no contacts no pictures no nothing an go to setting click storage space an it say 0usedi nstead of half your memory storage used for pre installed app

This app just appeared on my phone for no reason. This phone was not locked when I got it, so I really have no use for this and didn't install it. The reviews saying that messaging doesn't make a sound or tell us we have notifications is true. My morning alarm no longer makes a sound and I have checked all those settings. Thought my phone was just old and cranky until I was checking on my google play apps and saw that this was "updated" 2 days ago (the same time the trouble started)

The unlock app doesn't work. Yet it's already installed on a AT&T phone. The phone is a AT&T Radiant Max. Time to go to Verizon for apps that work on their phones.

My phone is 4 years old. Completed contract and have used ATT prepaid since. Saw this and thought oh how neat they simplified it. Instantly rejected my phone. Check requirements and I meet them all and still use an att service. This app is probably fake to comply with some regulations don't waste your time.

Tech support says my phone is eligible to unlock. Paid for and I have had 4 years of service. I opened a case 2 weeks later still not unlocked. Tech support told me millions of user have the same issue. Mass exodus from AT&Ts network and service. AT&T is trying to stop people from leaving. Their online site was intentionally broken to keep people paying monthly for the service.

At&t. Raising a middle finger to its prepaid customer base since the days of the OG IPhone. Ma Bell is spinning in a cemetery! So easy, yet so many are still stuck! So ATT, how many people with a doctorate/PhD does it take to get an eligible prepaid phone unlocked? Obviously 2 isn't enough! Apparently this new app....is also a dumpster fire that does NOTHING to help 98% of the prepaid swine! Listen up ATT jokes! This Note 9 is MY damn phone, it's paid for, and you WILL unlock it to see me bail!

App won't open keeps crashing doesn't show nothing but a white screen with att and device unlock and a ? Button at top and that it doesn't do nothing else

Doesnt unlock ever ATT is the worst at fixing issues and helping the needs of any customer. I know dozens of people friends family and coworkers who have all been treated the same, I am a loyal customer and just want to have the same courtesy and respect I have shown them, I would try to find another service provider, my phone is locked through them even though its paid for and in no contract. ATT won't unlock in an attempt to keep me with them. I think its extremely unprofessional of them.

It's not working on my phone. It keeps closing before I can use it. And att support won't do it because I have the app.

I loved the phone I honestly thought it was going to be something made just for ME. But never was able to unlock , even after I was getting messages saying that I could unlock. Aren't u supposed to pay 2 months service then have eligibility?

I gave you two stars because the AT&t device unlock is not properly installed and somehow I think it's bogus and somehow I know it doesn't belong on his phone and why would a AT&t device unlock be on this device so I think I'm going to get a new phone or roll with a new company I do not like AT&t t device unlock it just doesn't make sense when you can download development and unlock the phone yourself so why does it come with a additional unlocking question please respond

It worked great it was easy to use and it worked right instantly phone was unlocked to be used with a new provider.Awesome because new provider is the Gov.and it is free lmao

I'm not allowed to unlock my phone but I can't use a lot of the apps and options on it because they say I'm not a AT&t customer but it's still their phone that I paid for on their Network not very satisfied at all with AT&t after paying $300 for a phone and can't use all the apps even though it's locked into their Network and they won't unlock it

Fails to open. No matter how many times I reinstalled the app, it failed.

Looks like ATnTea has another spyware to torment and still our data, Good enough is far better than they do. They want use to click on agree to terms of service with OUT explaining what the app does or Whatever happens behind the smoke an mirrors and can NOT remove wasting my phone space. As with others my remark is 1star is to much, We need 5 FLAMES to burn it up in H311 for ever.

Dosentork at all. My devices are paid off all this app dose is go to a white screen and that's it. Doesn't unlock the device or do anything at all

Doesn't work. My device is eligible. I called at&t and they tried to unlock my device, two days later I received a call saying they couldn't do it and I needed to contact Motorola. I called Motorola and they told me only the carrier can unlock the device.

Only available up to a phoenix 4 of course in the Phoenix 5 it doesn't work oh yes if you're a Canadian you can't have it unlocked either right because it's an American company that runs the network. AT&t won't unlock the network locks that they have on this phone I'm a Canadian I can't get the att network, and who would want it anyways

I thought i was buying an unlpcked phone to put my service on but no its's LOCKED and at&t, i dont even know how to even buy at&t service, BUT I GUARANTEE AT& T will NOT EVEN COMPARE to what my service cost for UNLIMITED DATA...TALK,TEXT,& INTERNET ALL UNLIMITED. I hate this app it doesn't work, I've been trying to unlock my phone for several months now and always tell me that my device cannot be unlock

App is just blank, I restarted phone and connected to AT&T Fiber 1000 wifi and app still doesn't work.

AT&T sucks they are by far the absolute worst service I have ever had. They suck on their pricing too, I went from around $149.00 with just my line and a tablet to $300.00 just to add another line. They won't let me unlock my phone because I have not been with them for 6 months of cell service. Well then I guess it sits in a drawer because I will not be with them for 6 months PERIOD!!! I hope you read this AT&T because you deserve this review of 1 star only becuse I couldn't pick no stars, you suck!!!!

Horrible same my phone was brand-new and now it's locked and my sims card is unusable that's ridiculous and of course you can't get in contact with anyone to fix it. Only when they need a payment.

Having major trouble with many apps not working properly...ex. notifications locked and won't make sound when I receive messages on messaging. 👎
