It was working great before the update. Now when the alarm is arm or disarmed I get a notice saying app is not working and it needs to close. I have uninstall and reinstall this app in hopes that will clear up this matter. Well it didnt. The blue layout is cool. It would be nice if they had it to were you can change the color layout to different colors.
Great idea and would be an amazing app but right now it's falling very very very short. The app constantly crashes, if it lets you in at all. It takes an unreal amount of time from hitting the button on my phone to when whatever task I selected actually occurs. Anytime you try to use the app to trouble shoot something it links out to a mobile web page which may or may not load before it times out. I feel like AT&T should be able to do better.
What a buggy excuse for home security. I can't believe you offer this and expect people to feel safe and protected. I can't even access my camera half the time, because of some random "video stream error" and it seems like you have to click things in a specific sequence otherwise, the app starts to bug out. And worst of all, the app doesn't notify me when it catches something on my camera right away. Sometimes it'll say I have a notification for right now, but it will actually be from 20 min ago
The only thing consistent about this app's performance is that it never works. It regularly freezes. I have repeatedly spent ridiculous amounts of time sitting in my driveway trying to get the app to load so that I can unlock my doors (because my keypad buttons stopped working!!!). I have to call other family members to have them try and log into the app to let me into the house. Aweful. Disappointing. Completely dissatisfied.
Horrible app! I've complained several times to AT&T and its always the same thing. They always suggest on re-download and clearing storage, but app never gets better. AT&T is over their heads with this system and have to invest more time and money into quality of service. Once my contract is over I'm getting out of this nightmare of a service.
The update appears to be nice but appears push notifications does not work. I will get a message window but no sound. I tested push against my other apps and I get sound from them but not digital life app. Which was a good function me because I would set push notifications for what I define as critical alerts and SMS for general alerts.
App never let's you login, when you receive a notification that motion or any alert at your home it never let's you log in to view the cameras or check the status of your any device on your system. It is totally unreliable yet they will happily automatically generate a bill for you every month. I can't wait to leave this system as I have had techs out to my home 9 times in 6 months to resolve issues with the system. I have been told multiple times that they are going to fix it but they have not
This "update" is big step backwards. They removed the Stay Logged In feature, so you have to log in every time, even your own mobile device. Also, it crashes on starting 50% of the time, and doesn't synch accurately with your devices. Video stream errors are now the norm. It's obvious ATT is trying to get subscribers to quit the service, as they are retiring 3G. Or, they just have terrible programmers.
The app works fine for me, but it's been years since they updated it. I don't feel like ATT is really supporting this product much anymore and I won't be surprised if it gets discontinued. I would just hope out of courtesy that if they ever do discontinue it, they allow our alarm systems to still work locally without internet access so we can at least hear the alarms if they go off.
Used to be good! They now have it as a web based app and it is HORRIBLE!!! Literally unusable now. When it was a separate app from the MyAT&T it was good. Now it seems impossible to view your security video and go back out to another video because the navigation is all messed up and you have to exit the program and log back in. This is MOBILE so making it browser based!!!!!
Since the app changed from text notifications to push notifications it does not send notifications to the phone until sometimes 2 hours later which makes it pretty much useless. Spent an hour on the phone with someone who barely spoke English at ATT support. He finally just said they were working on it. Figured out a workaround myself but it only works once. Don't understand why ATT would " fix" domething that wasn't broken by replacing it with something that doesn't work.
App takes what feels like 8 years to load and most often when loading it tells you your saved password is wrong. You then have to close app, login again, and wait forever for it to load. It only catches half the things that should show up on cameras. There's also a lot of lag when using the app to turn on your lights.
if I could give this no stars I would!! this alarm system is only good for looks! As long as you don't have any break ins or anything that is the only good thing for it for a sense of "security" and where you can watch your cameras when you are away from the house but if you do have a break in and it is recorded like we did twice now the video is deleted even if you lock it, can't find it on the app or online when you log in using a computer. this system is a joke
The new update is terrible & so dumb, the worse process & very annoying. We have to do way to much to accomplish the task of arming & disarming the alarm. On Android it is even slower & worse. The original way was way better. Facial recognition is terrible on Android,confirm it is my face is ridiculous. The phone knows it is me!!
They didn't upgrade anything. Same app, but it's blue instead of orange. Now my fingerprint reader doesn't work and makes type in my password everytime even though I've selected it to remember password. Won't connect to my home wifi and they want to charge me 100 bucks to send a service tech to fix. Terrible
Since the update my whole system is offline, will no longer connect to the internet. I have tried all troubleshooting methods and it's still saying that it can not connect. The internet is working on all my other devices. Now they want to charge $100 for a tech to come out! Think it is time to terminate services. Too much of a hassle.
This app is TERRIBLE. Doesn't update device logs automatically. Fails to recognize my password/fingerprint and causes me to be locked out of my account for an hour. Crashes every time I open it, causing me to have to reopen the app every time. The only thing worse than the app is the quality of service when I try to call and get help.
S L O W (when it actually works). I literally just logged in and out 3 times, turned my phone WiFi on and off, and finally waited more than 5 minutes from when I hit the button to ARM my alarm, until it finally armed (and I skipped the countdown). This app has never been great, but I feel like it's getting worse instead of better.
Constant bugs on this app. Seems to always be a problem. That one time you really need it to work right & it doesn't & something happens. Also always getting kicked out during a live conversation when trying to get something fixed. Really fed up with this company. Gonna be looking for something else.
They need to read their reviews!!!!!!!!!!!! You are having system issues your call center and home techs can not fix. Get someone on the problem with the network before you lose all of your customers!!!!!! I can only use the app on my phone if I disconnect from my home WI-FI, I cant get to the digital life site using my home network.
I have been using this app for nearly 8 months and only been able to successfully use it for barely 30 days worth of time within those 8 months. The app never works and there is no one at all to talk to, to resolve this problem. Customer Service numbers will claim they have nothing to do with the app but yet the app will only continue to tell me to call someone for assistance. Also, I have done surveys, I have written letters.
This app needs a major overhaul and the cameras need upgrading. The app frequently crashes, the camera double records the same object/footage and the app constantly has error messages. I've contacted Tech Support on a few occasions and the same technician attempts to resolve the camera issues but the problems still remain. The last resort was upgrading my wifi which I have, but same issues exist. Please update this app and upgrade the cameras.
Very unreliable. App locks me out every 2-3 weeks, sometimes more frequently. Tech support said i should to log in on laptop every 30 days to prevent the issue. That has not worked either. The whole point of getting Digital Life was so i could let people in remotely with the App, especially when I'm traveling. It has been the poorest performing app of any kind that I've ever used.
