AT&T SportsNet

App is very limited and is very glitchy to watch . Feels like the app is an afterthought, not sure if they are required to have an app or something ? No casting options(so you are limited to device , unless you go through other methods ). Very cumbersome experience that is not worthwhile unless you are desperate . Not a reliable way to watch games at all.

Will not work unless connected to wifi. This app used to work when it initially came out but now all I get to watch is a spinning circle. Tried restarted my phone, deleting and redownloading the app multiple times with the same result. It is not a problem with service (can use other streaming apps no problem). Now the app tells me either that it can't redirect to let me log in or that territorial restrictions apply (I'm in the Houston area HOW AM I NOT IN TERRITORY?)

They advertised their app on Xfinity's station for them, yet neither Xfinity nor Comcast are listed in the login list. I know Xfinity has their own "beta" app on Roku, and on my phone. However, I can't get that nor this app on my Nvidia Shield Pro! You'd think they could work out a deal so one could support the device. Instead, I have to use a fuzzy browser picture, a laggy Roku one, or an awkward, and sometimes pixelated, cast from my phone to my Shield Pro. Would prefer a direct app.

Worthless app. It used to work in previous years, but now it keeps telling me the even is not available in my location. I am at home ATT!! Same error as other recent reviews. I cleared the app cache, storage, and reinstalled, same issue. My location is on, and allowed for the app. I am within the ATT Southwest service map. Used VPN to try other states, same error. App says copyright 2017, even though it last updated in December 2021, lol. Guess I shouldn't be surprised. Delete the app!

I can log in but I'm no longer able to watch Astros Games. Says mot available in my area. For 4 yrs never a problem. The only rwason i have Directv was for the Astros. Unless this changes I fill be moving on.

This app use to work well for viewing the Penguins games but now I continue to receive an error that says "this event is not available, there was an issue authorizing the content". Why even have Armstrong if this doesn't work. Also, why doesn't the app have a "cast" button like every other video app?

I can't login successfully anymore, it tries to log me in using some bogus email andress and get in an endless loop where it says I'm not subscribed to the service. No way to log back in because it auto redirects to log me in. I just want to be able to reenter my user and PW but there is no way to do this.

I've used to work great. Now every time I try to log in through directv it's telling me that I don't have it as part of my package. I completely have this as part of my directv package I watch it on the my television all the time very disappointing how terrible this app is now.

App keeps saying that channel not in service subscription, which I have in my DirecTV regional sports package.

Never Playa the jazz game. All it does is keep loading and buffering I don't understand how a professional sports team would want there games streamed from such a poor app. Horrible don't waste your time.

This is absolutely ridiculous. The app has not worked at all for 3-4 months. Everytime I start the stream it's just an endless black loading screen with the blue circle spinning. As is evident by the other reviews this is not only my problem. I've tried uninstalling, logging in again, and everything else. Please fix this service. Absolutely astounding how nothing has been done about this in so long coming from a major company.

I subacribe to the service from my cable provider (Cox), yet when the app asks me to pick my cable provider, it's not even on the list. WTH, thanks for nothing. Not sure what I'm even paying for then. Edit 02/16/20: Cox cable has now been added. So now the service I pay for at home is available thru the app as well. Connection is very quick, quality is pretty good even on cellular 4g connection. Guide is easy to navigate. Much better and thank you for the update.

Devs have fixed the app! It works now! The app has stopped working after the latest update. If I try to watch anything, I get the spinning wheel and a black screen forever. I've tried logging out/in, uninstalling, clearing cache and storage but nothing has worked. The app is broken. I pay for UVerse. This should be included. There is no legal way for me to watch the rockets on my phone anymore.

Can't watch Astros or rockets games on this. It plays the game for 10 seconds, then freezes and buffers for a few seconds then comes back only showing the top half of the screen and the bottom half is all grey. This needs to be fixed. I reported this to them in May 2018 and was told by Shannon, the digital broadcast coordinator, that "unfortunately, the issue is on the tablet side and we are not able to fix it." This is the only app I have on my tablet that has the issue. The app is the problem.

Not a good app. It worked once to stream a game. Since then streams will not load. You will get to watch a spinning loading circle spin endlessly. I have tried clearing cache and stored data with no luck. I have tried both on WiFi and mobile data with no change. I have also tried uninstalling the app, rebooting my device, then reinstalling the app. Still the same behavior with the endlessly spinning loading circle. Very disappointing.

This app is the ONLY legal way to watch Jazz games away from home. One would think that after paying good money to be able to use it, the app would be at least usable. Yet, on multiple devices it does not work! I've tried everything. I have a great many choice words for at&t, DirecTV, and the developers of this app.

Nothing plays. I don't understand the purpose of having this app available to download when it doesn't work, after logging into my DirecTV account. I want to watch my local sports teams play when I'm not home, hence the purpose of an app rather than watching on my tv, but all this does is cause frustration. DirecTV sucks, I have gotten rid of my account and hope others do too until they get their stuff together, because this channel isn't available through the DirecTV app either.

This has to be the worst app ever. It's hard to imagine with all the terrible reviews they haven't done something about it. I haven't been able to watch the jazz for months. I thought it was just my connection but it's not. I used to get the games but they would buffer all the time but now the shows/games don't even appear when I click on the Rocky mountain option. And don't tell me to contact customer service, it obviously doesn't help.

Territorial restrictions apply even at home? Location services are turned on. I have the latest update. I am logged into my ATT Uverse account in Houston, but I still can't watch a game due to territorial restrictions. 🗑

I'm not able to view the Houston Astro games & have always been able to watch on my phone or laptop. Not uappy at all about this. I have DirecTV.

Used to work okay before update, now it hangs up after provider login for DirecTV. Update: Enabled location amd file storage App Permissions under Settings>App>AT&T SportsNet>Permissions and app works again. Performance seems similar to previous version, stream will start for 10 seconds or so... then buffer for 10-20 seconds... then seems to work alright. Glad this is not completely broken right before baseball season is about to start back up again. Go 'Stros!

2022 season regional restrictions!! I was able to watch astros games the last 4 seasons for being in San Antonio and blocked out now suddenly what a load of b.s. !! My family & I attend astros games every other week at least 20 games every season when we can this is unfair for being a loyal fan.$$$ 😤

This app is so frustrating. I am looking forward to watching Rockies baseball and this is what I use. Unfortunately the app isn't working even though my cable package allows for it.

I thought they fixed this app, when i open it, it ask me to log in, so i log in then it say channel not in my tv provider when im watching it on DirecTV, then it tries to get me to log in over and over again,

It states at&t direct TV is connected but can not watch my houston astros games at all. Sucks to have direct TV and not watch much on the go especially games😡

Any web or app based function that AT&T creates is horrible. This is app is no different. I've been trying to watch the VGK play hockey, and the app keeps kicking me back to the guide. Then I click to reopen the game and it makes me sign in again. When I sign back in it now tells me the game is not available. I've watched half the game! Now, it just keeps kicking me back to the provider sign in. My provider is AT&T TV. Apparently it's too hard for AT&T to make their own service work on their app

It worked well for several months, but since this season has started the app has never loaded a single sporting event. Just a spinning circle that never ends. I've tried everything, and still nothing. I hope they fix the bugs and get me back to watching Jazz basketball.

Garbage! This app is absolute garbage. No matter what I do, uninstall and reinstall, force stop, sign out and back in, it will not stream anything that I select. It just shows the loading circle continuously and doesn't load anything. Developers are slacking tremendously on this app. Waste of time and memory.

Absolute Garbage, must have chrome browser installed and enabled to even log in. The video freezes every 10 seconds and even audio is choppy. I can stream ESPN and fox sports go on this device with no problems but AT&T Sportsnet on this same device and connection is unusable. save your time and just listen to the game on the radio
