nice try. but failure. installed it for the second hoping it improved but no. useless as before. no point without access to au portal. dont waste students money on things that doesnt even work
Have attended two other schools by distance ed and this app is by far the most helpful I have ever used. The amount of info you can glean even by just reading the posts is amazing. And I have never experienced the comeradrie any where that I feel with athabasca students. Good job Athabasca U!!!
Wish the myAU portal is auto login and auto-formatted for the app. You can still read the contents but it's no differrent than a web version on a mobile browser.
Not happy with this app. It hangs so much,most of the features are missing which really needed for us. Its just consuming space so i ended up by deleting this app.
Still waiting for a confirmation email to activate my account..... I'd really like to be able to use the app, it sounds wonderful but....

I made a typo in my email address, the app won't let me correct it... only option is 'resend verification email'. Can't logon
Really pointless app, there are no usage rules but they are sure to make up their own as they go deleting posts as they want. All it's used for is spamming about student council elections and "what's this course like" over and over again.
Great for connecting with fellow students. I wish it could automatically log me into the myAU portal.
Great community tool for Athabasca University students. Good info and communication tools are available, study aides as well.
First University I have attended to have a functioning app for communication. Athabasca is eons ahead of the rest!

Absolutely great! Being a distance student, this app really helped me feel less overwhelmed! Great way to connect with other students doing similar courses! Wonderful app.
Generally love the access to courses and the student feed, but there are a few bugs. The study timer is an AWESOME feature for independent study, but if you study for more than an hour at a time, the recorded time resets to 00:00 min. Also, it sometimes shuts off spontaneously, sometimes when you're using another app on the phone/tablet and sometimes without it being touched. Would also be nice to have a log or something to check your replies & replies to your comments, etc.
It seems like a decent app. I haven't had any use for it, but everything functions well.
Not anything to write home about. But it is nice for making you feel more connected with other students.
No way to see grades or coursework. No update log so when app updates don't know if it's a bug fix or new feature. Building a fixed study schedule has little advantage for correspondence education. Overall, useless app.
Nice little app. I love that I can stay connected with other students. App needs a bit of work still but it's getting there!
No update log tells me they are not serious about the app. List of code errors identified.
This is a pathetic attempt. Even after almost 2 years, still no ability to edit any typos in posts. Notifications don't work. When you do get notifications, if you read the post, the corresponding notification still shows as unread. Uninstalling 😑
