Does not work. It won't allow me to log in my account. When you click on "Log In" at the bottom right of the screen, a page pops up with 3 options in how to log on: (1) "athenaNet", (2) "Single Sign On" for those with an organization account, and (3) "athenaText" for those who signed up on the mobile app. Since I'm an athenaNet user I tapped on option 1. Loading wheel pops up and quickly disappears, leaving me on the same page. I keep trying and same results. Very disappointing.
As of the latest update (19.7.29) I am constantly getting a pop up in the application stating that I am using an obsolete version and it needs to be updated. This application consistently has new issues time and time again on the Android platform.
The screen to register in the secret code keeps flickering and won't let me set up secret code. Cant get into app.
Just installed app again for android, as has never worked in past; was hoping the glitches had been solved. Unfortunately, no.I cant log in w/ my athena net password; the screen doesnt open up, so I have to log in with my athenatext login/ email every time, which logs me out as soon as I go to "my account". I have uninstalled and reinstalled it and will likely trash it again. For God's sake athena, half the world uses ANDROID and you STILL dont have a working mobile app just for text???? Not to mention the full athena one app has never been offered for android- its 2022 people!
The design of the app is good. However, the performance is exceedingly poor which greatly limits its utility.

Had to reinstall app due to unable to get notifications even though they were on. Reinstalled and keep getting loading wheel and doesn't log in. Please help!
This app frequently crashes despite a recent upgrade to resolve this issue. It is virtually worthless when I need it to work.
Reading reviews and it says things have been fixed in the January update. Not at all true. It's March and I cannot log on
Don't get any notification. When we are on call, Athena text is what we use. The medical director had to text me on my cell to see why I wasn't responding. Come on guys. Get this fixed!
Recurring issues with push notifications. Tech support not helpful. Sometimes months to fix issues. Their response to everything is: uninstall/ restart/ reinstall. Great when it works.
When it works, it's great. Unfortunately lately it keeps reloading the login screen and I have to force close the app. Very inconvenient.
Cant get notifications since the update yesterday, the app notifications say no sound but I have set it for sound, I even uninstalled and reinstalled, it wont make notifications sound. I need this fixed NOW.

Terrible communication in every way: patient portal is not helpful, very long wait times for calls, requests not answered, decisions about health treatments are not discussed with patient. It is so poorly organized and accessibility is tthe worst I've seen since the laws governing accessibility were passed in 1990's. Even when these things are pointed out to staff, nothing changes. The only thing they deliver is PAIN.
They fixed the annoying pop-up about suggested colleagues, but now I'm not getting notified with new messages. no simple swipe to delete messages, takes forever to get rid of old messages.
This app is not currently working for me. States connection failure. Had the same issue with athena capture but this was successfully fixed with update/new install.
Works when it works, but Android version crashes all the time. Hard when colleagues expect you to receive messages and you don't.
Doesn't notify of new messages on Android. When I open the app, it's very slow to update and show newer messages.
The app used to work great, but it will not allow me to update my passcode. The Athena team wanted to discontinue support for this app a few months ago. I guess they just made it unusable so they wouldn't have to officially discontinue supporting it.
slow. cannot find colleagues or groups I have set up since changing my passcode. keyboard appears and disappears randomly. very frustrating.
Does not work well. The log in screen just restarts over and over and over whenever I try to enter my pin. Very defective app.
it takes a while to load the messages after I log in. also I very much dislike the suggested collegues. are you aware that you can have a different notification channels? And I could disable that notification?
My password expired & I am unable to change it because that screen repeatedly flashes over & over. Horrible app.

I too have problems , it worked fine and now not lettin me in , it states it can't connect while trying to change to a new password , since it won't recognize my original password 😔
So frustrating and completely useless app. Try to go on and it says it's syncing - never loads. I'll uninstall and reinstall the app and it'll work maybe once then go back to syncing and I can't get in again.
