During an event, users can receive critical alerts, and easily share pictures and videos from the field back to their operations center to enhance situational awareness across the organization. Failure. No automated email sent so unable to use app right from the start. Do better
I wanted to register the app on my new phone and it kept telling me to register although I verified my email address. To resolve the issue, I uninstalled the app and then reinstalled it. Presto, I input the o.r.g. and it worked as anticipated. I recommend anyone having issues registering, try uninstalling and then reinstalling. I'd like to try and have it than not... you know in case we need it😉
Registered and verfied my email. I still can't use the app. Everytime I open it, it asks me to register, it doesn't even recoginze the email I put many time as registered, it keep sending verification emails to it. Very bad first impression, and I don't think I will be using it.
Android here. It doesnt work. You get an alert, try to open the app to view, and it doesnt load. I've had to download and reset it several time already which is a lengthy process considering i have to get back to work to do it. I gave up on the app.
I was told to download this app so I can stay up to date on changes or alerts and I was given a slideshow that showed how to set the app up, I input my email and verified it but the app wouldnt do anything other than say i needed to verify my email. Useless app
Will work fine for about a week and I will continue to get alerts however the app won't load and I just get a constant loading screen. The only work round is to delete and reinstall the app
This app is important to emergency communication, yet has many glitches and sometime does not work at all. Not sure why, but it has stopped working on my Samsung phone since the latest update.
Uhmmm.. what happens now that I verified my email?? I come back to the app and it only gives me the option to input my email address again... why won't it allow me to register to start getting emergency alerts. I dont know if I want to use this Athoc emergency alert system, if it can't do the most simple thing!!??!! Date: 03/12/2020
It's great when you can't actually log on to the app once you have registered your email, doesn't take you to a log on screen, just back to register your email. Mint.
Easy set up. Took about 5 mins altogether. App is pretty basic. Will do a follow up review if/when another emergency occurs. Until then 3 stars is the best I can offer.
I was having the same issue with this as Robert V. You need to go into the application manager select the program to clear its cache. You will have to re-register your email.
Just awful. I've had to uninstall/reinstall for the 3rd time now in 18 months because it just decides to stop working and doesn't send notifications. Hate that we have to use it.
Having troubles setting up. Confirmed email and re-opened app, but still prompted to put in email for registration. Stuck in a loop.
Doesn't work. Asks to verify email and after I verify it continues to ask me to verify. This makes it impossible to log in and get alerts rendering it useless.
For those unable to get pass registration screen, it is likely an admin config that needs to be handled. I am testing with my org and that's what needed to be done. The app should provide more information for resolving though.
I can't get past the registration screen. My company uses the system, but it seems to be very flakey. I have been trying to set up the app for 3 hours...and no luck.
For those unable to get past registration, once you verify email and return to the app be a bit patient and don't press the back button. Just wait and other details will appear.
Does what it says on the tin, got logged in and connected to my organisation ok, and receive alerts from my organisation just fine. Only dislike was when my employer sent a High Priority alert, nasty nasty very loud sound and it will not shut up till acknowledged, I had to put up with it for 20 minutes as I was driving and couldn't pull over. 🤬🤬
I'm getting the push notifications, but the app does not open to acknowledge the events. Stays spinning on the loading screen.
No matter I verified my email address the application do not open just atays as I never enter my email to register. Also the license agreement do not have anything inside that my Galsxy Note 9 phone do not find the license agreement because it is empty.
This does not work on Android phones clearly. Just takes you in a loop. Input email address, verify email address and back to input email address again
It never moved on from the register your work email step. After 3 failed looping attempts, I'm over it and will rely on my company to text me directly. Thanks though.
Did not install easily. It took me several tries. At NIH seems to require registration of the phone number of the smart phone in NED
Won't load. Just had to uninstall it. It was giving me alerts from 3 weeks ago and wouldn't stop out load the app.
Worked as designed when notifications were sent out. Retirement meant no longer needed app.
Why does this app still play sound if I have it turned off all the way. At least give me some control over notifications
I am also not able to register. This is a critical flaw IMHO. If you are in an emergency and need to download and use right away you are out of luck.
App takes forever to download. Easier to use the actual computer and set it up there.
I have an issue with how the app handles notifications. The app does not register any notification types with the OS until it receives its first alert. I like to instruct our employees to set a unique / annoying alert tone for this app so they can easily decipher it from others, and make sure this app is excepted from do not disturb. You can't do either of these until the app receives its first alert from the organization.
