The Checker Cab AppACab app is an application that makes it easy to order a taxi. The application geotags your position and suggests a pickup address. Once your order is confirmed, it is sent immediately to an available Atlanta Checker cab.
With your phone, you can order your taxi in as few as 3 clicks, see the starting location of the cab and watch it approaching you on your screen in near real time.
Customize your request by selecting a vehicle type (mini van or sedan) and method of payment (cash, coupon, credit card), and confirm your order.
If you enter your destination, an estimate of the cost of your trip will be displayed. Please note that this estimate is based upon the meter rate and does not take into account Flat Rate destinations.

I have never seen such a worthless, unresponsive app. It can't even load the pick-up address, nor a destination address for a fare estimate. I thought I should at least give the taxi companies a fair chance at my business before calling Uber, but they squandered that opportunity with this horrendous app.
App was working so good, and now it's crashed. I can't get into it to schedule a taxi. I uninstalled the app, reinstalled it, and it's still acting funny. Please fix this, because I do use it a lot. Thanks.
It would be handy if it actually worked. I used the book later feature last night to book a cab for my gf this morning to the airport. Worked fine, driver was even early (not great since we weren't as ready, but better than late). Now, every time I try to do the same thing (I have a flight tomorrow morning myself) it crashes. Poor...
Vehicles that will stain passengers with strong fruity or vanilla scent long after the ride ends. Stinky. Rude drivers only interested in your money, and how to get as much from you as possible. I only use Uber and Lyft now for their more superior and affordable service.

Most of the time it says my address isn't valid, and when it does read my address I still don't get a taxi
App says that we are I'm the taxi. No taxi here. Call button doesn't work. Finally got a hold of operator. Said wait ten minutes...
Used twice, both times cabs were there within 5 minutes
I stumbled on the app last night and used it right away. Great working app... amazing customer service. The quote was accurate. The driver was on time. Very satisfied.
Last time I tried to use it, it didn't work but I'd say a great tool for needing a cab.

Effective
Every time I place a booking, it automatically gets selected as completed. Never even had a cab assigned. Still waiting. Looking for other businesses like lyft or uber. At least they know what they are doing.
I got a cab in 4 minutes and made my flight by 5 minutes , saved me hundreds of dollars in fees and another night at hotel. Thanks Checker Cab
Cab driver overcharged me. claimed his debut machine did not work. Had to c get cash and was charged $11 for a ride that I am normally charged no more than !8 when I pay cash for 2.1 miles.
