Just downloaded to see what is offered for Washington DC National Mall audio tours. It's not free ($1.99) and there is no list of attractions visited or a map of the route you will walk that you can view ahead of time. There is a 2m sample of the audio, which sounds fine, but I want to better see what I am buying before I buy to know what is covered is what I am looking for before I was money, so I'm going to uninstall and find another app.
I had no problems with the technical aspects of the app, although we did the high line tour in NYC and it seemed outdated with all the works going on around the neighborhood. The other informationpoints were interesting!
I haven't used it yet. downloaded one tour. their large font is quite small. Light blue type on white page. I can barely see it at home. I think it will be impossible to see while outside.
Bought the audio tour for Boston. Downloaded and installed. Tried to play: "Invalid or corrupt audio file." Every time. Even with deleting and reinstalling. Rebooting. Waste of money.
All but one tour says I need a coupon. It doesn't tell me where to obtain or purchase the coupon so I have been unable to use all but one of the tours. The one tour was OK
Did the Lafayette Cemetery tour in New Orleans, LA. Great detail, but could use a little pizzazz or music like the others. Still helpful and I'd recommend this app.
Used it for New York City. A pretty good app. Not super expensive. and I learned a lot about the city despite living here for many years!
I bought an audio guide tour for London and after i purchased it, the app did not launch and i kept staring at a blank white screen.
We did two of the New Orleans tours, one free and one paid. Thought they were helpful and well done.
Not free.. well the app is but the two tours, not audio, were $1.99 in Charleston South Carolina
GPS enabled tour doesnt work. It was the whole reason I bought this app.
Had very good information to Boston's freedom walk. Others we did not use.
Be warned.....Paid for the app but no access to the paid version. I want my money back!
worked on Samsung note 9. Charleston tour was fine.
app crashed as soon as i opened it. I want mu money back.
Impressed so far. Will update review once used with GPS
I was wondering where can I get a coupon code to download some of your tours?
Very nice alternative to other self guided tour options. Would have liked a shortcut (or easier to find shortcut) to the tours we had purchased. Would also like a better map for navigation. Very good but a little short of being prefect.
usefull
Enjoyed the free walking tour of the Brooklyn Bridge, would be willing to pay the 2 bucks for other tours. Looking forward to more content in later updates.
Useless app , nothing is free. Also not much coverage of Manhattan.
I'd be willing to pay for the tour I want, but the app won't let me. Requires a coupon code that can't be purchased online or in app. Some of the others are labeled free but require payment. Seems like a great idea, but not ready for the market.
I did the tour for Central park and it was good. The automatic features starts before you reach the spots, so that should be fixed. The worst part is that my phone is draining the battery and overheated since I downloaded the tour. I don't find how to fix it, and Android is indicating its draining my battery even after hay forced it to stop. I will need to uninstall.
