Exactly what I needed. It synchronizes with NIST and this is the key element. I like the graphics too.
clock does not move, just provides the time when one touches it. Useless for setting time on a watch or clock.
The app. worked well at the begining, Now it doesn't Sign in at all, I will have to uninstall it completely.
Use it quite a lot. You'd be surprised how many time pieces and devices are wrong.
Simple, small and very useful. A credit to the developer
Nice, but it needs one fix - work in landscape mode too.
FAULTY APP "None of the time servers are available" Yes, I have phone data AND Wifi internet...
12/15/19 - as of today's update my previous issues have been resolved so I have changed my rating from 3 to 5 stars.
The time is stopped and it doesn't keep going
national institute of science & tech (NIST)
like that atomic clock
Outstanding experience.
The fact that the clock does not advance is more useful to me. I need an accurate clock for celestial navigation, taking sights with a sextant. Ability to use like a stopwatch helps. Would be good to add voice activation, so one could set the mark while hands and eyes are busy elsewhere.
Had to uninstall. It would not work correctly on my Android device and could not be set for DST. This is exactly what i am looking for, an internal clock setting app tied to NIST Atomic clock accuracy.
The atomic time seems to be slightly off compared to the rest.
The second hands don't move and the time doesn't change ...not a clock but a time snapshot. Useless!
I want to hear the alternating ticking sounds as well as the time stamp called out every minute, like what i used to hear on my shortwave radio. It was so soothing to be listening to NIST. 5 stars soon as an audio option like that exists!
