ATSC Player

This app does work pretty good but not with all android devices, also something that could be improved is to have a record setting where u can set it to save your recorded stuff into either internal or to sd card of your device. I also have a problem with the captions can't turn them of either.

Hangs with spinning circle every time as soon as it connects to my ATSC PadTV Tuner HD810 on my new Samsung A505U with Android 9. Works acceptably on my old Samsung J36V with Android 6. Looks like an updated version is necessary for Android 9 and beyond, but can't find one or alternate Android App that will work with my device. No clue if it works on Android 7 or 8. Apparently ok if you have 6. Very frustrated that I can no longer use my device on my new phone.

This software only works with specific hardware type of phone or tablet cheap phones won't work. Works on android 6 marshmellow. Many of the bad reviews are using hardware phone or tablet that is not fast enough to run software or has no atsc tuner. It works with 2 mb ram and should work. I tested on 3 phones lg doesn't work and cheap tablet doesn't work, but works in newer phones with 2 ram fast cpu and graphics card. Requires a atsc tuner mini usb dongle for antennae and tuning.

Works exactly as its supposed to. You do have to buy a digital tv tuner or adapter for your phone/tablet. Do some research people

Does not work on Nokia 6 with Android Pie. Phone has OTG. Stuck on setup screen with a spinning circle. Very disappointed.

can't get rid of captions if it weren't for that it would be a good app

Wont work with newer versions of android so I wasted money buying the hardware

This pad TV doesn't work so if anybody sees this review before buying one please do not buy it you're only wasting your money

This app *may function with Marshmallow and earlier. But on Nougat (Android 7) the app *did discover channels and downloaded guides but after, the crash-rate is 100%. Useless.

Functionality is quite rudimentary, but it does work well. I am using it with an IVIEW-Air Stick on the 18.4 Samsung Galaxy View and the 8.4 Tab S. Video quality is similar to any other TV in our house.

The App is very basic but works. Epg guide shows wrong times and menu item to turn off subtitles(cc) does not seem to work. It fills my need to have OTA television when needed for news updates and light viewing..

The app force closes continuously. I'm on a Galaxy S6, Android 7. After about 60 failed tries, I got it to scan and play once. It worked well that one time... now the app won't open. Would have been nice to know what Android version it supported before I bought the device.

Keeps stopping on Pixel XL and on Nexus 6P. Occasionally works on Nexus 6. After setting the closed captioning to be off, it remains on. Perhaps it's not yet compatible with Android 7.*

Where is support for this app? Bought 2 of the Pad TV dongles from Geekbuying, Both scan and setup channels fine, EPG works but no working Video on 5 different android devices? I also own a true My Gica which works fine. Going to return devices if a solution is not available.

If ur updating then someone cares!! Can u pls give us detailed instructions how to use ur product!! Can u pls go back to the previous version that worked! Nothing but channels with a black screen!...we dont want or need these updates that dont work...pls put up some detailed instructions about any walk arounds..
