No reason to have a status bar if it does not update. Yes, I've already checked and downloaded the update. Once again everyone thinks Google maps is the best. Too bad they missed putting my road on their maps. Guess I wont get the precise reporting ive heard about. I hope the reporting is a lot better than what I see so far though. Not impressed with what I've seen compared to what I've heard about this application.

I am a long time weather enthusiast and I can tell you that this app is extremely informative. This app identifies each storm cell, provides attributes of each and gives you the ETAs of each. In other words, it lets you know what's coming at you, how strong or weak it is, and when it will be there. The notifications enable you to be weather aware at all times. Aaron, please don't ever discontinue this app. I'm sure a lot of people depend on it for severe weather!

This is the best weather app! A lot of times we have those late night storms and I fall asleep but I can count on the app to alert me if there's a tornado possible in my area. I started using it this past winter and I was so glad to see that it has the road conditions. You can actually click on cameras around town to see live conditions on streets and highways. With snow and ice, it's so helpful to see if cars are getting around well or not hardly at all. It has interactive radar with future radar. There's a 7-day with a detailed forecast and hourly which I really like. It's hard to believe that people are complaining about the ads. It lasts for 5 seconds and that's it. It's a FREE app that is packed full with everything you need. Plus, it's from Meteorologist Aaron Tuttle who is the best and one of the most trusted weatherman in Oklahoma.

This is a Great app! I really don't get how the very few ads can irritate so many people tho. Seriously, just click the X and it's gone. It's not difficult at all and takes all but two seconds🙄 The only issue I do have is I want it to show the current temperature on my home screen instead of having to go into the app to view it. But other than that it's the #1 weather app out there to me! Great job Aaron! **Update.. I added the widget as you said to do..Thank you! It's perfect now😁

Informative but yes ads. Being new to Nebraska we had a horrible storm that freaked me out. I appreciate all of the info this app provides. The ads can get annoying (yes there's more than 3, I checked) but this is a free app otherwise and it has to make money somehow. I'd gladly pay for an add free version though or even a minimalistic one as when you're panicking during bad weather the last thing you want to do is accidentally click an add.

I've reached out before because the app won't load on my android. AT helped and it worked for a while, but crashed again... and again... and again...I uninstalled, but I'm trying as tornado season is upon us and this app, when it worked, was the best and gave me peace of mind. Alas, it's doing the same thing as before. *Update: I was unaware of contact info within the PlayStore so I left a review (see above) to get help. I was emailed right away and AT got my problem solved asap!

Like how the app warns you. But not user friendly at all. Too difficult to find functions and main screen is too busy. Even the tutorial is difficult to locate. And cannot find where to even update the app. Would be a great app if it was made more user friendly.

I love getting information from AT, but the app drives me crazy for daily use. I open it and a video plays which is disruptive if I'm checking the app in a quiet room. It also runs much slower than other apps. I've uninstalled for now. I'll try it again later to see if it improves.

Edit-I understood the slogan perfectly fine! And if you want ads, why don't you opt for smaller ones that don't take up the whole screen when it's opened? Or even a possibility of a subscription to remove the ads entirely? Rather than asking me if "I'm serious", take a moment and see the big picture. If someone is away from their television or PC, and trying to react properly to tornado sirens, full screen ads are the LAST thing they need. Call me 'crazy'...

Was a great weather app until it started running auto-play video ads when switching between modules. Now it's slower to load and you never know when you're going to get blasted by some loud ad. Not conducive to an emergency situation at all.

This weather app has options for showing all kinds of different radars! It can show you a visual of temperature, infrared, visible satellite, and a lot more that's very useful! This app also gives you alerts of when a bad storm is coming and when there's lightning around you! I truly reccomend this app!

Seems like a good app... From what I can tell between the massive spam of ads that occurs with simple use. Maybe cut down on the ads some to make a little more friendly.... I want to check weather like I can with any other weather apps, but don't want to be hounded to generate money for you (when every second counts)

It's great for tornado/severe weather warning but otherwise it's full of useless stuff. It doesn't update the current temperature unless you open it. Even if "updates" on here says the issue is fixed, it still always shows "1".

The app used to be pretty good before they turned on the pre-load ads. Now it hijacks your phone and you can't even back out of the ads. It used to have ads in between the banners in the app so you could click on things if you wanted.

Great app, has a lot of useful information that the other apps dont offer, its just unstable. When it did work it often crashed. I can no longer get it to work on my devices no matter what I tried so I had to uninstall.

I don't know what happened lately, but the ads are out of control. The ads don't let you escape out of them until you press a link. I'm not pressing links in any ad to access an app. Hitting the back button used to work, doesn't anymore.

I went in to make sure I had the latest update and was surprised by the number of complaints about ads. For a free app that warns me about weather dangers in tornado alley a few ads (easily closed) are a very small inconvenience.

Was a good app until ad's started popping up. When seconds matter, let's throw in an ad to waste people's time. 5 seconds of my time is valuable, especially if severe weather is in play.

I love this app and have used it for long time, but it kept crashing, then after update it won't open up. I still get my alerts but can not open app to look at anything. Please help! Thanks for all you do!

I downloaded this app as I live in Oklahoma, so spring means severe weather. I had the app for approximately 10 mins, and received 7 (SEVEN!!) pop up ads while my phone was resting next to me. So no it is not just one ad on the home screen, and no I did not grant permissions to an ad. I've read many of the ratings, and should have listened. I will await my chastising (😒very unprofessional by the way) as I know it is coming after reading other reviews.
