Attach Contact
Have you ever started to write an email and then realized that you want to attach the contact information of someone in your People (contacts) app? Only to then find out that the "attach" button in your email client won't offer you to select a contact. Okay, now…
• close the draft
• exit the email app
• open the People app
• open a contact
• press "Share"
• select the email app
• and type the text again
Too complicated? I agree! That's why I made this little app to allow you to attach contacts directly from the email app.
• While composing an email, select the "attach" action.
• When asked what type of attachment you want to add, select "Attach a contact".
• Finally, select the contact whose information you want to attach in the VCARD (.vcf) file format.

• Gmail
• K-9 Mail
• Kaiten Mail
• MailDroid
• … and most likely every other email app.

I recently switched to Android and am using K-9 mail. I was frustrated when I looked at the attachment options and didn't see contacts, exactly as you describe. But a quick search for "K9 email attach contact" brought me to your app and happiness! Thanks for creating it. Oh, and for not asking for a bunch of permissions that have nothing to do with attaching contacts to an email!
This app solves all you contact sharing problems. Honestly I can't figure out why Android doesn't make it easier to share contacts in the first place but hey this app does the trick. Thanks

This should be a standard install. Very small application size, does what it says, no special permissions, no ads, just a perfect tool to make your Android even better.
Only works with some contacts. No idea why. ✴✴ UPDATE ✴✴ Now works with all contacts - problem was I had added some contacts as unsynced contacts on Google account, now all contacts are added on 'MyLocalAccount' account (app). Using K-9 Mail, Android 4.2.2
Why this functionality isn't stock is beyond me but this app is super simple and works great, thanks!
Android 4.1.2. Installed for use with Kaiten Mail 2.009. The app does exactly what it claims. Sent test message to my Yahoo account and opened on my Windows 8 desktop beautifully. Very useful and much appreciated!!
Exactly what I needed. Android 5.01 still missing this functionality. Go figure...
