How it works:
Do you put screen note widgets on your home screen to remind you of something? After a while the screen note disappears from your awareness because your brain gets use to the color and position of the screen note. This is called Brain Adaptation. You actually stop seeing the note causing the message you are trying to keep in mind to become lost in the background.
Attention Notes solves this problem by randomly changing the text and background colors of your screen notes. The changing colors of the note will grab your attention causing to take notice of it.
Features:
- 420 different text and background color combinations
- 12 different widget sizes: 1x1, 2x1, 2x2, 3x1, 3x2, 3x4, 4x1, 4x2, 4x4, 5x5, 6x5, and resizable
- Ability to cycle between multiple screen notes in the same screen widget! Four notes are allowed in the Ad-Support version. Unlimited notes are allowed with an in-app purchase
- 11 different time durations between changes: 1 minute, 15 minutes, 30 minutes,
- 1, 2, 4, 6, 12, 24, 48 hours, and randomly between 6 and 24 hours
- Does not use any long running services. Uses the Android Alarm Manager. Thus, will not affect battery life.
- No nosy or intrusive permissions
Permissions description:
- USB Storage: Need to write and read backups on your sdcard
- Network access: Needed to facilitate in-app purchases and advertisements
- Google Play billing service: Needed for in-app purchases

I have to be honest.. I have NOT tried it yet. (Will delete and rerate if I need to once trying), but I just want to say to the creator of the app bravo on the idea. I am EXCITED to try this out and think that this is an awesome idea. You are very right about how the brain just becomes adapted and ignores the note after awhile. Especially for people with ADHD etc. Thanks!
I really like this app. especially because there is a resizable note. I like that it changes appearance randomly so I notice it.
Seems like a good idea but I cannot activate a note. IE, In Use option doesn't select, just goes into edit mode. Edit: Still can't get a note to appear, trying to show a widget but doesn't work. UPDATE: I'm on a Samsung Galaxy phone now and still can't figure out how to make my note appear on the screen. Not an intuitive interface.
I love this app for putting affirmation widgets on my screens. I nice flexible set of features and a reasonable price to support the app and get rid of the ads. I hope they continue to support the app. Give it a try.
I use it to list all my errands for the week & any quotes, inspiration, tips that I come across. Nice that it's always on like a wallpaper on my Android but its size is adjustable so that it doesn't become obtrusive. I find this a unique feature among this kind of memo pad software. Overall, I recommend everyone to download this app. It will organize your life and you'll never forget anything any more regarding errands & grocery lists.
When it works, it works great. However it very often stops working . . . :-( Error message: "Unfortunately Attention Notes has stopped"
Keeps on stopping!! Doesn't work.
Same issue as Terri R' s review stated, on longer lists the keypad blocks content you're trying to type so that you cant see what you're typing. Other than that it's a fantastic widget app.
Not impressed at the moment with the new change where typing pad covers up what I am writing so I can't see it... Very irritating and hard to use.
I'll be reviewing version 3.1 here. This app was exactly what I was looking for in terms of function, but suffers from one thing - I had purchased the Plus version through the in-app purchase, but upon device restart or at otherwise irregular intervals the app forgets I had purchased Pro until I reconnect to the Internet and revisit the in-app store, which is troubling when I'm traveling
Super useful and aesthetic app. I've tried having note widgets on my home screen before, but I do adapt to their looks after awhile and basically ignore them. With the option of unlimited (almost) colors and for those colors to change periodically, I can't ignore my notes now! Thanks again, Blue Logo! Have upgraded to Pro because I think it's worth it!
Outstanding app that makes it almost impossible for reminders on your screen to just become "invisible" as time passes. Very customizable too. Highly recommended.
I can use a note relative to me. It keeps me focused on my goal without being smaltzy.
I'm not crazy about the main app's U.I. but I love the widgets and customizable colors

I searched almost endlessly to find an app for rotating notes. This does the job perfectly. Galaxy Note 4
Crashes every time I try to upgrade to Attention Notes Plus. Also, how can I keep my color settings and save them as something other than "default", and also use different color settings for different widgets? Thanks in advance for the help.
This is what I wanted except it needs a times feature so the note comes up at a certain time each day. Please consider this for the next upgrade.
I really love this app and this is onr of my best apps ever but recently I have this annoying problem that after some time that I adjusted the widget the notes just disapear and I have to create another widget. Please please please fix it.
Reminders & motivation every time you look at your device.
I use this app on multiple pages for language flashcards, inspirational quotes and a focus list. So I needed a widget that could be used multiple times and would be able to flip through notes automatically (and/or manually). Your app has met all necessities. Much appreciated.
