ATV Launcher

It's decent, I don't care much for customization but there's one thing that makes it borderline useless for me: I use the widget-less option, but even then, when I pull up the launcher, the cursor does NOT default to the first app in the list; instead, I have to press down for it to appear (!) and even then, it selects the app in the middle (!!). I will be using a less polished launcher that does at least this right. I hope an update can fix this, but apparently there haven't been any in three years...

Hi, I am trying out your launcher, it's a great a well build app. I am trying the free version before buying the pro version. Something i found wired in my testing was that netflix for some reason would only launch in portrait mode not sure why it won't switch to landscape. I was wondering if you have plan to put in a rotation lock option? Also, the widgets aren't working. Lastly would you be planning to make a companion app similar to the Android TV remote app to control the launcher from my phone?

Very sublime and snappy. Been using it since I found it and so far, so good. One thing I always feel the absence of is the rearrangement of apps displayed in the app drawer. It does sort them by name but only on its first startup and never again for newer app installations; they get added to the list instead of being placed in their respective positions. Deserves 5 stars nonetheless

Got it working on my Fire Stick 4k. It's OK, despite some flaws, like home button occasionally still goes to Amazon home, and am unable to remove the useless, non-working apps it adds to the "Home" screen. I would like to buy the Pro version, but I cannot find out how to do it since there is no Google Play store on Fire Stick. Found the free APK online but not the pro. Now that I know how to set a custom launcher, I will be trying other launchers as this one could use some improvements.

Once I discovered the error message when attempting to add a widget the first time has an error, the bit "--user 0" should not be included in the adb command, I had widgets which was the main reason I wanted a alternative launcher. I then used a launcher manager to get the choice of launchers when pressing the home key. I choose ATV and set it as Always, but when ATV loaded all the application icons were replaced with ghosted rectangles with no labels.

Found this on an Android set top box from ISP which actually is a mockery. While severely limited by their tampering, this made it bearable! 👌 What is shown in the screenshots for the most part is what you get. THEN I found it available for my Galaxy A5 phone & it was so much like on our TV that at 1st I thought it was mirror image!! However in the description of it, there is something about transparency of the icons. Hopefully it is just the box preventing us from using that with the Free Version 🤞

Best Android TV box launcher. However, If you have it as default launcher it takes forever to load after a reboot. Desperately needs a "clean memory" widget. That would make it almost perfect. Or if you have a clean memory widget suggestion? Kudos on this app.

Great launcher. Few recommendations for developer. 1. Add option to add a settings button and a Google voice search button next to the logo on the top left. 2. Let me customize the icons for a section in the section settings allowing to customize all icons at the same time rather than having to change them one by one. 3. Allow renaming of the sections. Thanks for the all great work. Looking forward to purchasing, as official google launcher is bloated with ads.

A storage cleanup button on the main page would be great. It's what I miss from my original launcher. When I use my current storage cleanup button, it resets the applications I moved on the main screen. Basically it clears the settings I just set.

I've tried so many launchers (nova, apex, hall, etc.) and this one by far feels modern and tailored to tv boxes. The only things I would adjust are: - add a lock the widget row option that way I never scroll on the empty widget boxes. - add an option to make certain settings be the default (i.e. all apps don't display the app title)... Also, what is the name of the weather app you're using as widget.? :p All in all, great launcher!

This launcher is highly recommended by retro gaming enthusiasts but the lack of auto rotate the other way is a big bummer for people who uses Usb-C controllers like Gamesir X2. The screen is always upside down rendering this useless. More than happy to purchase the Pro version if this is fixed.

First launcher to be able to change my background due to the custom picker, please do the same for live wallpapers and it would be greater as they work at the moment (android 7.1 wallpaper problem, I'm using a h96 rk3399 box). Other things to improve would be ability to hide apps from home screen, order apps alphabetically. If I hide the apps section i should get a app draw button. Ability to change all app icon backgrounds at the same time e.g. (transparency/alpha). With that said still my favourite tv launcher so thank you very much.

I use this on my old MXQ S805 TV box. It's very simple, yes. But is a pretty simplicity. It's functional for what was done for. To launch media consumption apps for TV boxes. Does the job well, i like it.

I love it. Using it on my chinese X96s TV stick and it is really cool here. One thing that I noticed is that icons become black sometimes after I use some apps. If I launch another app - some icons comes back, but not all. Only after a force stop in setting all icons become back again

At last found something that I could use to replace my Shield Tv launcher. Great work. Hope there'll be more widget support like and channel content for Netflix, Kodi, Spmc. Also if you can add the possibility to set randomised wallpaper changing from a selected folder, would be great. Good stuff.

Working as intended, working smooth, delivering perpose well. It's app launcher for android tv it's good airtel xstream users would know how useful it is.

I keep choosing this as a default launcher in my v88 Android 5 digibox but it keeps asking if I want to make it the default launcher every time I close an app. It works fine on the MXQ Android 8.1 digibox my sister owns and only has to be made default once.

-5 if I could. I decided to temporarily make this the default on my tablet. I couldn't do anything !! .. The apps would open but only in the effing background !!! .. This what ever this is wouldn't minimize or go to the background so I could use my apps.. I'm so glad I didn't buy into this thing.. Uninstalled

Added a section but cannot delete using the manage sections or remove section. Also, the app locks up [a lot] so you can't navigate. Additionally, restarted device because I could not get the app to refresh after making changes. VERY Buggy.

Fantastic app. Lightweight with an elegant design. Would love to see a weather option at the top beside time and date built into the launcher for devices that don't support widgets like fire tv for example.

Vast improvement over earlier version. Just click home once after reboot, it stays stable until next reboot. And crashes and reboots reduced considerably on my TX6 after starting to use this launcher. Not lost any icons so far either.

Finally found a launcher that works with the firmware on my Chinese Android TV box. Been trying for over a year to find one that would let me have wallpaper instead of a black screen. AT LAST!!!!! SOMETHING THAT WORKS!!!!!!!!!

My only issue is that it doesn't seem to work properly on my TX6 running Android 9? It's fine on my older box, but on this new one the home screen shows some icons and not others, just big blank spaces. Any way I can fix that?

Complete garbage. Installed on a tv box running Android v9 and evidently there is way to change even a single setting. No colors, no widgets, no weather NO NOTHING.

Perfect app, I use it to make my phone look more like a portable console. The only problem is that the widgets don't show for me, is there something I'm doing wrong? Some widgets work and others do not. If this can be fixed I will gladly give this a 5 star review.

great launcher. simple and easy. however the bug of the main 3 widgets keeps resetting (cannot remember last selected, keeps asking me to reselect) is very irritating.

This launcher is by far the best launcher for TV box. Is beautiful, stable and even the free version is great. I will definitely buy the paid version to support people who work on this application to continue.

Nice launcher but when I hit home, lots of tiles are just black and the labels disappear. Please fix as I'd love to be able to use this as my daily....I'd even buy the paid version once fixed.
